AVOID THIS AUTO DEALERSHIP

I am submitting this Complaint to bring awareness to poor dealing, unfair practices, and complete lack of transparency by this automotive dealership.

I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX-5 SUV from Carma Auto Group on 12/12/25 and financed the purchase through Westlake Financial. I took delivery of the vehicle on 12/12/25 in Duluth, GA. The dealership attached a temporary registration tag to the vehicle and agreed to register the vehicle in Florida.

The dealership/its agents did NOT disclose that they use a 3rd-party title agency, Automotive Titling Company, LLC ("ATC") located in Centennial, Colorado, to handle out-of-state registrations.

My temporary registration tag expired on 1/26/26 and I am now unable to lawfully drive my vehicle. I am currently making car payments and paying for auto insurance on a vehicle that is unregistered due to Carma Auto Group and ATC's gross negligence and non-disclosure.

When I contact Carma Auto Group about this issue, I am told that the registration is "in process" and that they will not issue another temporary tag. They state that they cannot give me a timeline for when the vehicle will be registered. I have heard everything from 20-30 days to two months.

I am in the position that I have to decide whether to unlawfully drive my vehicle and hope that in the event of a traffic stop, the police will accept this "in process letter" from ATC, or not drive at all.

Neither Carma Auto Group nor ATC are doing anything to resolve this issue and are increasingly difficult to get on the phone. Carma Auto Group representatives act annoyed when I call for status updates, and ATC refuses to speak with me at all because they have "no relationship with the buyer, only the business (Carma Auto Group)."

Avoid this dealership at all costs.
