I have a 2015 GLK and was looking to add carplay without changing the radio unit. This thing was basically plug and play. It also comes with the connections to add an AUX in and USB in as well as a yellow video in connector for your backup camera. Make sure to read the instructions tho because you need to connect the products bluetooth signal to your car then your phone connects to the bluetooth signal from the product. If you dont do this you will have no sound coming from the speakers. Highly recommend and even tho it is a tad pricey it is much cheaper than having a whole new unit installed in the car.
