Smooth transit to and from the Cancun airport
The pickup from the airport, and especially from the hotel was prompt. Transit both ways was quick as traffic would manage, and the drivers were polite and helpful.

The pickup from the airport, and especially from the hotel was prompt. Transit both ways was quick as traffic would manage, and the drivers were polite and helpful.
We were referred to Caribbean Transfers by a Facebook group for our resort. We purchased the round trip option.
Here’s the TLDR: they were very late and they STOLE my husband’s suit.
They were about 35 mins late to pick us up from the airport. When we were due to return, we had scheduled for pickup at 1430. They did not arrive until 1525. When we asked the person via WhatsApp they were rude and dismissive saying there was traffic. During that time I checked on google maps, there was not any traffic noted at that time on the way from the airport to the hotel. We almost missed our flight and would have, had it not been delayed.
Then the drivers were fine, a bit aggressive on their driving.
But the one thing that I want to bring attention to is that we had two backpacks, a suitcase and a suit. When we got out, we were provided with our luggage, which did not have the suit. We reached out to the company and they took a very long time to get back to us, denying they had his suit. We know with certainty that the suit was put into the vehicle and then not given to us. They stole my husband’s suit. I’m so upset by this and heartbroken by the way the situation was handled. We could have had them drop it off with our friends who are in Mexico for safe keeping. We would have even paid. But instead, they lied and kept the suit.
This company should not be hired under any circumstances. They pre-charged my card (no other company does that), but no driver was present at the airport upon my arrival. Called them and call centre didnt answer. They hid behind lousy excuses of communication misunderstanding and refused to reimburse me. Literally takes your money and dontfulfill the service. I had to take another taxi.
I took a van from the airport to my resort they were on time and were always respectful. I recommend.
I paid in advance and tell them my flight # , for a transfer from Cancun airport to our hotel, At Cancun airport, I found their worker, but there was no transportation vehicle ready. We waited 1 hour and 20 min. with the worker and no vehicle showed. We found an other taxi and come to hotel. They talked to us over the what's app conversations and now not to reimburse me, they try to say I am no show at the airport. Please be avare of this company, don't trust them and waist your money and time in your vacation.
We used Caribbean Transfers to get from Puerto Aventuras to Cancun airport with our 1-year-old baby (a U.S. citizen). We explicitly requested and confirmed a car seat in advance — they promised it would be provided.
Not only did they show up over 40 minutes late, but they arrived without the car seat and offered no acceptable solution. We had no choice but to ride unsafely with our baby, risking his life on a Mexican highway to avoid missing our international flight.
Their excuses? That the car seat vehicle “got stuck in traffic” — and that they sent a replacement van without safety equipment instead. No call in advance. No warning. No accountability.
We documented everything:
• WhatsApp screenshots showing their acknowledgment of the request
• Their confirmation they failed to provide the car seat
• Photos of the unsafe transport
• The U.S. passport of our child, whose life they endangered
• Their dismissive responses, offering “blessings” instead of real help
This is not just bad service — it’s dangerous negligence. If an accident had occurred, we made it clear we would hold them fully liable, and we have formally notified the U.S. Embassy and Mexican consumer protection authorities.
If you’re a parent, traveler, or anyone who values safety and responsibility, stay away from Caribbean Transfers. I wouldn’t trust them with a suitcase, let alone a child.
Had no issues. Reasonable rates. I would use them again
We used this company for 4 journeys in total and every one of them was on time, friendly and did exactly what we wanted.
They were able to accommodate a late change of destination without any fuss.
Thanks guys, we would certainly use you again if ever back in Cancun
I’ve twice contacted them on email to amend bookings and had no response at all to date and no idea if my bookings are still valid. Very poor customer service. Not impressed.
