Unprofessional

According to Caribbean Airlines (CA)travel agency Kiwi apparently did not informed that we had already paid for the luggage from Curacao to Georgetown. In Curacao, we had to pay for 2 suitcases ($30 each), and for the return trip in Georgetown as well. However we lost the invoices for the payment in Curacao to ask for a refund. They never responded to our mail and whatsapps (and Kiwi says it was not their fault) At the return trip we expierenced problems at the airport in Georgetown with CA. My wife was on the correct flight (5 o'clock in the morning), but I was apparently on a different flight. The day before, I had already noticed that my booking did not appear on the website of CA. I passed that on CA, but they did not respond to it. Furthermore, in Georgetown, the lady asked who had changed the flight, as we originally had the flight around 12 o'clock. I said I did not know, but that we had been in contact with CA in Curacao about it. I showed her the email exchange. She then said that the email was not from Caribbean Airlines because they use a different email address. Very strange indeed. Eventually, the manager came over, and he managed to get me on the flight anyway. In short, a very unpleasant experience. Unprofessional company.

CAL cancell flight creates customer hardship and no customer service support.

I purchase a round trip ticket for travel from JFK to TAB nonstop. This ticket normally cost more than a ticket with 1 stop in POS.
My returned flight was cancelled without any advance noticed and I was rebooked with a 1 stop connection without any option for an adjustment to the cost of the ticket.
That cancellation cost me the following, 1 days pay ( $450. US ); A Delta airlines 1 way ticket from JFK to DCA ( $249. US ); 1 night stay at guesshouse ( $ 250. TT ); 1 night stay at a NY hotel ( $280. US ).
At Caribbean airlines when I reached out to get this address, I was told to go online and submit my issues but the online site does not work. This appears to be a pattern, cancelling flights without regard for customer hardship, and customer service is non-existent.

Amazing so far

This is my 6th flight with Caribbean Airlines. All were travels within Trinidad and Tobago. Amazing onboarding services. I was quite impressed with the staff decorum and professionalism. Considering that cultural influences (voice tone, body language etc- but respectful), may miscommunicate intentions and correspondence.

However, I had a smooth transition with this Airlines. Even though I was terrified with the conditions of some the flights I have travelled in. Lol.

The timely updates on how my luggages are being handled was very comforting. I love Caribbean Airlines and hope they can improve on their quality of carriers.

Shape Up Your Communication Process

Booked flights back in October for travel to Trinidad in the new year for a family of 4 travelling from London to Antigua and then onto Port of Spain and back, decided to check airline app and noticed date was changed for the inbound flight from POS to Antigua, which leaves a family of 4 stranded overnight in a different country.
Contacted Virgin Atlantic to inquire if the issue was with them, and was told by VA that they were indeed surprise by the change without correspondence and for me to contact the Travel Agent as the change of date was made on the 20th December, contacted the Travel Agent to be informed that Caribbean Airlines moved the flight to an earlier date because Flight BW0280 which is due to fly at 09:20 from POS isn't in operation again and flight has now been moved to a different date.
Question: Shouldn't Caribbbean Airlines not communicate this with customers and inquire what date and time would be suitable for passengers ( we have paid events to attend on the date they have made the change) 2nd is Caribbean Airlines planning to pay accommodation for 4 persons in a country that we had no plans to spend overnight and 3rd if I didn't check my app and see this change and ended up going to the airport on the day we were carded to travel to London we would've been told our flight had left the day before
This is so wrong Caribbean Airlines on all levels...For an Airline that I hold in high standards...I'm indeed saddened.
Shape Up or Ship Out CA, this is not the way to treat your die hard customers.

Unprofessional customer services

I had a simple thing to do, rebook a flight by adding an infant, nobody know what they are doing, everytime i call after taking my booking number they hang up.

The agents also said if there is a difference higher i have to pay it, and if i left a balance i will lose it. that does not make any sense , I accept to pay any difference extra, but why they can't refund the extra i paid. so stupid policy.

I spoke with more than 10 agent that day, untill now they can not rebook my ticket, all of them hang up on me.

Disappointed In my new favorite airline

I recently had a wonderful experience flying with Caribbean Airlines from Fort Lauderdale to Port of Spain, so much so that I joined their Caribbean Miles program and booked another trip soon after.

Unfortunately, during my second booking, the system automatically changed my travel dates to the following week without me realizing it. I noticed the mistake immediately after purchase and contacted customer service right away, but I was told I’d still need to pay a change fee to fix the booking.

This has been especially difficult because I’m traveling to Trinidad to support my younger sister after the passing of her mother. I explained this to the agents and hoped the airline might show some compassion and waive the change fee as a goodwill gesture for a new and loyal customer, but unfortunately that didn’t happen.

I still believe Caribbean Airlines has great service and potential, and I truly hope someone from the management team can review my case and consider reimbursing or crediting the fee. This would go a long way in reinforcing the trust and appreciation I had after my first amazing experience.

I can see this is common thing in…

I can see this is common thing in Trinidad/Piarco airport with Caribbean airlines where they break into your suitcase while you connect to your flight through Trinidad. Steal your items, ask you to fill a form and never process a refund. Its just morally wrong it puts a dampener on your trip when your suitcase is busted open with item everywhere on the conveyor belt, you feel soo violated. Thank fully I have travel insurance, however not everyone has travel insurance to claim back for broken suitcase and missing stolen goods. Its really unacceptable what is going on a Piarco airport?? This is actually the 2nd time this happened first time was when I was travel to Grenada couple years back but seems no improvements have been made since then.

The person named Jenelle Headley
Customer Experience Officer
Is a waste of time, she will take your details for the claim but you will never see your reimbursement.

Are you scammers or what??

Are you scammers or what??
You broke my backpack from Tobago to Trinidad. I filled out all the paperwork, you asked for my bank details for the refund, and I gave them to you. I never received the money, and I've emailed you countless times. Months have passed, and it seems like you've disappeared! Where is my money? Are you a legitimate company or a scam? Refund me for the damage you caused me! It's your duty and my right!
