Another useless website that protects the Collapsed NHS which is now the PHS, Private Health Service in the UK, if you pay you get treatment, if you cannot pay then you do not get treatment, even with the PHS getting £3500.00 per year for everyone in the country, I was referred to the PHS in 2019 and it took a year to see me, then another 4 months to get examined, they then said HE WOULD DEFINITELY BE SUITABLE FOR BLADDER OUTFLOW OBSTRUCTION SURGERY BE IT TURP OR ALTERNATIVE LASER MODALITIES, Since then they refuse to do the operation one excuse after another and I have been suffering since 2019, and the reply I got from Care Opinion was.
Where there is a complaint, we are more reluctant to publish also on Care Opinion. This is due to the risks of patient and staff identification as well as risks of the two processes running side by side. Also Care Opinion only publishes feedback from the last 3 years. I cannot go private as I am 79 and Disabled and have not got the money to do that, what the PHS is doing in GENOCIDE TO SICK PEOPLE IN THE UK. Do not waste your time with Care Opinion they use every excuse in the book to protect the PHS Genocide on sick people in the UK, My health Board has spent £30 Million on a large new Mortuary to cater for all the Genocide they are doing, but will not spend £30 million in improving patient care,

I took my husband to the Western General hospital in Edinburgh on Friday 16th January 2026 and there was a lady named Susan overseeing car park 6. Well she was absolutely outstanding, a very special lady. Susan went above and beyond for us. When she saw that I was having a difficulty parking in the space, she helped me navigate in. I then had difficulty opening the wheelchair as it’s only the second time I’ve used it and Susan came to my aid and helped me open it. Then I needed directions to get to the department I needed to go to which I received from Susan. Susan is a lovely person with a lovely welcoming smile and a loving and caring manner which puts you at ease. She is a people person, she has a great love and care for people. She has a wonderful and appealing personality. She is so patient and kind. She even had kind words for my husband which cheered up an unwell man. Ahh I can’t say enough great things about Susan. This earth needs outstanding people like Susan and I am so grateful I met her. Thank you Susan for all your outstanding care for us. xx 💕

I wrote a review of the colorectal department of Bournemouth hospital who bumped me of their 28 day urgent cancer referral list and put me on a slower cardiac review list on the say so of a nurse who only spoke with me on the phone without my seeing a doctor or nurse to be examined.

My review was scathing but fair however Care Opinion wanted to edit it. I refused to allow this and have now broken off communication with this bunch as they appear to support NHS incomitance over the rights and welfare of patients

Just spent four days in Kirkcaldy hospital ward 52 . I can honestly say it was the best care I have had all the staff in this ward are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much bother. Well done to everyone on showing what the NHS Staff can do together

I have asked under the freedom of information act to get details of the specific positive actions this organisation have provided. I await the detailed response.

If 100% of reviews for this service are 1 star how did they achieve a 2 star rating. They claim success in Scotalnd yet I'm in Scotland and virtually no one reads the stories you post and negative reviews have for the most part no impact whatsoever. All you get is the usual publicised rhetoric of "we have learned lessons". Why bother asking for reviews if you get excellent response to good reviews and mostly pitiful or no response from negative ones. Who are Care Opinion really working for. Just another NHS cover up just like the complaints process, not worth the paper it's written on as they all cover each other's backs.

Care Opinion claim that they have patients interests at heart allowing them to express dissatisfaction with Health Organisations, what they don't tell you is it's heavily moderated and they will actively avoid posting truthful reviews which are reflective of negative experiences.

Why would any organisation claiming to represent patients and unhappy members of the public do this do this I hear you ask?

£100,000's of pounds in the bank paid for by members so essentially health organisations pay to be members so they can 'listen' to patients when in reality all they're paying for is to have negative reviews and criticism of them moderated for a price.

Avoid using this company, they're profiting from the negative experiences of members of the public.

A very skewed way of getting peoples opinion attracting only negative reviews from a small percentage who go out of their way to write something negative. Verging on abuse towards the health service. No effort is made to attract a balanced view. We are all aware of the pressures on the health care service some of the comments on this website are verging on abuse. This is just a platform for people to rant.

I have published feedback on care opinion several times both positive and negative and apart from minor grammatical adjustments or removing a 'she' for 'they' my stories are published as written. It allows me a voice but the voice is only beneficial if an ear will not only listen but hear. Too many times the answer you receive directs you merely to contact a practice manager and once you do that, guaranteed case closed. It is to discuss what they think where no one can hear and to shut you down. Additionally so few of the people care opinion share the story with even read it. How will this induce change? Care opinion gives us a voice but really it's pretty ineffectual if no-one cares to listen.

Following response from care opinion who boast of success in scotland, I am in scotland and a recent serious complaint of mine published was sent to 23 different people but only red by 5 and responded to by 1. A pitiful response advising me to contact the centre that denied me vital services and failed to provide appropriate care. This is exactly what I mean by no one hears. Because no one cares.

I tried many times in the past to leave factual reviews, but they all got censored, so it's pointless. There are only 2 platforms that do not censor factual reviews of the NHS, which I dont think i'm even allowed to name here as tp also censors!. The ones that do censor, such as (we dont) Care (about your) Opinion are morally corrupt and do taxpaying patients and the public at large a great disservice. This type of silencing of NHS victims and survivors is why sociopaths like Shipman were able to kill so many people. The killing will continue as long as you continue to aid and abet willful negligence and corruption.

Edit: note the hostile response below. As if the NHS complaints procedure is anything other than a farce. It is well-known the police refuse to investigate NHS irregularities. The only time that happens is when the hospital itself decides to throw one of their own under the bus. This outfit does a great disservice to people like me who are in the process of dying prematurely and needlessly due to NHS corruption. "Make a complaint" indeed, that wont stop my premature death.

I left my story a complaint about my health care and certan health care professionals, I had a reply from another health care professional in the area I confided in her by email in confidence but she forwarded my private email and contact details to the exact department and health care professional i was complaining about. That hit the nail on the coffin considering a phycotic doctor more or less poisoning me with a certain medication and I was being harassed by a CPN nurse on the verge of staking me. And care opinions states they are not connected to the NHS, well they ate responsible I this situation any way. Now they have stopped publishing my stories and ignore my emails, which proves they have contacted the people my complaints in my story was about. Okay care opinions at Stirling university In Stirling Scotland that is where they are based, cowboys, they ate not what they seem, a sheep in wolves clothing. I am certainly not alone in this. 🖕

It doesn't deserve a Star at all. Corrupt organization who say you can share your story but if it isn't a glowing review of the NHS then care opinion will reject it. Has anyone else noticed how the praise of the corrupt NHS with 5 star reviews gets put on the care opinion website but if you tell the truth about how shoddy the NHS are care opinion doesn't like it. Care opinion you are disgusting.

This joke of an organisation told me to send in my story about how I'd been treated by the NHS which nearly led to me visiting the cemetery.
I had complained to the corrupt NHS who did a botched operation on me in 2008 and they lied covered up my sickness till I finished up in the hospital due to their treatment of me or lack of it.
I ended up having to pay for the operation 4 yrs ago they lied I didn't need abroad out of my own pocket where they tried everything to prevent me having surgery.
When I made a complaint last yr 2021 they told me to write down my story which I did then said as I'd named those concerned it could be dangerous to them even though part of the process means nobody is allowed to be named in your story.When I informed them of this they tried to state they where honest independent etc which they clearly are not.
This is only here to say what a great experience you had etc but you expose any of these Drs consultants or staff and they refuse to print your experience.
Just like the Ombudsman this organisation is a criminal cartel only there to frustrate and hold up the process in the hope your 3 yr limit to take them to court is run down.
They have no intention of posting your story especially if you have a case against the NHS they are immoral dishonest liars who take offense when you call them out.
This place should be exterminated with the equally dishonest Ombudsman they are both an absolute farce rotten to the core.

Protecting dishonest Doctors, no impartiality, no transparency, covering the misconducts of the NHS...what a shame! Your negative feedback will be rejected straight away.... totally corrupted...

Accordingly they protect the Doctors on the NHS, if the feedback is positive you are welcome, but if it is negative....well there there are some many issues....what a shame care opinion, you should care instead in the way you act with no any levels of transparency...I have asked care opinion to have my account closed...goodbye care opinion, carry on protecting dishonest Doctors on the NHS.....

Just to reply you; Care Opinion does not publish any negative feedback, it does not matter if it is mentioned or not the name, and it is not illegal as you are stating, google let mention the name of who is responsible providing an awful service, so your company is not transparent at all, this is the actual truth about your company and it is not mentioned only by me but by many others....you have 2.3 stars on 5....ask yourself the question why and try to get an answer...

They will only post your story if it has glitter and fairy dust hanging from it.
This organisation is as rotten as their masters in NHS Scotland who they represent.
If you have a story of malpractice or a bad experience it has no chance of being printed,complete puppets who just like the Ombudsman are neither unbiased nor independent.
