Placed my order in November and as of today the order status hasnt changed, noting its pending. Emails requesting an update remain unanswered. Off to buy a competing product.

As others have said, the customer service is appalling. You can call or email and they don't bother getting back to you. I did get one very unhelpful response after multiple emails, and that was it.

However, the product is also not fit for long-term use. After three years, the coating on my Outdoor Carcoon was failing badly in multiple places. Not long after that the electrics failed. I asked what the guarantee was but guess what? They didn't get back to me.

So if you're after a product that only lasts a short period of time, and you can live with a company that doesn't give a monkeys about customer service, then knock yourself out.

The Carcoon Design is good.
Unfortunately the service is appalling.
An order is placed and acknowledged then nothing happens. Emails and messages left on the telephone get no response at all! If you manage to get your hands on a Carcoon you should be aware that the filters are a service item listed on the Carcoon website …. But they are evidently made of “Unobtainium”, Carcoon says that they are on back order for many many months and refuses to supply them, this renders your expensive Carcoon worthless. The filters actually fall apart if you don’t change them.

What a fantastic company. ordered the size 2 cocoon for our classic mini but due to our error it didn't fit due to having sports pack arches on and wide wheels..(Our error).
Called and spoke to Joyce who so polite and very helpful, my husband took it back (his decision) and the lovely couple (Joyce and her husband) were so accommodating and very very helpful. Would absolutely recommend Car cocoon as a company, If every one gave this level of customer service the world would be a much happier place.

Do not order anything from Carcoon UK direct. I placed an order in November for a service kit and despite phoning twice being assured it was suddenly going to get sent the next day, I have yet to receive anything and it now end of January.

I had the same after last year when I bought a new carcoon and the same thing happened although it was eventually delivered after months of chasing.

I am extremely pleased with my new Carcoon which was well packaged and complete with excellent instructions.
It is now installed and working well.
This is the third one I have purched over the years and they have all been excellent and have kept the cars dust free with no condensation whatsoever.

Very pleased with my outdoor Carcoon regular size 3. Delivered in a couple of weeks end of November / early December directly from the company. Easy to setup and working brilliantly. I would definitely recommend one of these…

After reading all the negative reviews on here about Carcoon I nearly did not buy one BUT I realised that the negativity was regarding the company & their customer service etc NOT the actual product! So I searched for a supplier rather than buy direct from Carcoon UK and discovered Demon Tweeks. OK, I paid a little more by doing this (about £50) but I placed my order and the Carcoon arrived less than 24 hours later!! I am very pleased with it. It took about an hour to set up (having watched several Youtube videos of people doing this) and, so far, I can only say it seems to be doing an excellent job of protecting my classic car. The product is well made and good quality, the instructions are good and simple to follow. My one big concern was, "would the fans be noisy?" and NO they are not, they are very quiet a bit like fans in a laptop. Overall I give the PRODUCT a five star rating!

Terrible experience with these people, shocking way to run a business! Ordered a carcoon almost a year ago now, they don’t reply to emails or answer the phone! I purchased a secondhand one and then tried to order a filter kit, same again nothing after several months! I would look at a different manufacturer for the air bubble and not waste your time with carcoon! Seems like they don’t want your business

Do yourself a favour - buy a similar product elsewhere. Awful customer service. I thought they'd gone out of business only to have a surprise email months and months after ordering to say they'd dispatched the item. I've tried to contact them since via telephone and email with a few queries and no one comes back to me. For an expensive product, their customers deserve better. I hope the manufacturer of this product sees these reviews and finds more capable distribution partner.

Totally uncommunicative. Do not reply to emails or to the contact form on their website. Difficult to have confidence in this company.

Ordered filters back in Oct. No filters called several times. No filters lady keeps saying that will be dispatched. Very, very odd. Cancelled order and fashioned some from foam on ebay

Useless, obviously don't stock what they sell,zero communication...are they even still trading ? . don't waste your time and look for alternatives,there are plenty about.

Nearly didn't order after reading reviews. I've had a great experience with them. Don't expect the order immediately they seem to make to order. Mine took about a month to arrive. Just received my second cover, I've got a few cars in the garage and currently 1 in a carcoon. Works a treat. The car is dry with constant airflow and stays dust free and keeps a fully charged battery.
I was kept up to date with the order, a lovely lady called Joyce rang to let me know they were doing the final checks and then it would be posted out to me. Couple of days later it was on my doorstep. Looking forward to getting another car wrapped up warm for the winter. Thank you carcoon and thank you Joyce

Emailed a sales enquiry but never heard back. No answer to numerous phone calls and even their main UK distributer says they don't have any stock and Carcoon can't meet their stock requests.

What a shame as they have been going a long while and are UK based, but no point if they simply don't care about their customers.

I ordered an Airchamber which was with me within 48 hours and which I am very happy with.

My experience of carcoon is from a few years ago, I purchased an outdoor version in the smallest size for my mk1 mini and it is fantastic, the car is very well protected when I want to use the garage for other things. I have had mine years now and it still perfect. I am disappointed to hear that people are having issues ordering as id like to get another, hopefully they resolve this. I'm leaving this review to highlight, customer service aside, they are brilliant car storage solutions that are also well priced.

Ordered two set of new filters sept 2023, now March 2024....Nothing arrived. Poor customer communications and service. Not happy at all. Time to get your act together as a respected car storage solution, the product Veloce model carcoon is brilliant luv it. But parts replacement for service intervals is awful.

As promised an update... despite previous reviews posted by others, Carcoon are still in business, my Carcoon ordered on the 4th December 2023 showed up on Friday 23rd Feb 2024. not the one I ordered as they don't make them anymore. My filter order was also enclosed. This is our 6th or 7th Carcoon over the years, the product is good, and had been improved with each version. But the lead times are horrendous, maybe a note on the website that orders can take 3 months may be advisable?? contact is also not the easiest, sorry Carcoon but that was what I found, many unanswered calls, messages etc. In Carcoon's defence, they have now taken down the unavailable items from the website, so that confusion is gone for future buyers, my filter order was included in with the carcoon, so some saving on postage which is appreciated, and I was charged the original price of the Carcoon I asked for in December, also appreciated

Terrible Terrible service ordered filter set Oct 23 still no sign of it and no feed back. Now mid Feb

Ordered filter sets from them 3 times and got confirmation but never goes anywhere. Tried calling and say the busy over Xmas, really bad company
