It's peace of mind knowing the vehicle you are buying is legitimate. And its history right down to servicing.

Excellent
Excellent company. Never worry about buying a used car again. Everything you need to know to be safe and legal is here. Fantastic

As a general check on the car I purchased via Auto Trader, this independent site is Totally accurate on all specifications. If I ever needed to gain more information, I would revisit and register ( at a cost) for a more extensive report. Very satisfied.
Avoid
Avoid, ran two checks, my car and a car I was buying. My car came back as stolen and it isn't, additionally my car doesn't appear as stolen with the Met police DVLA and HPI. I have tried to get in contact with them and have had zero response. No direct phone line just a web message page that they don't answer. Head office in Holland also zero response. Good Luck.
Beware this company is foreign based
Beware this company is foreign based. Paid for a report. Received the report. This car had done 25,000 miles. The report came back and said the last service was done at 40,000. I thought I been ripped off. I had a sleepless night and was going to take the car back to the dealer the next day. Then it crossed my mind. Is the 40K , killometers? Yes it was. If I try and sell the car I will have to convince the buyer that its killometers and I am not trying to pull a fast one. Use s UK based firm
Service history is computer generated and false
Service history is computer generated and false, which is what I really used the site for. My car is a Renault Clio, year 2010, it listed a total of 12 services, the first being 2017-03-27, at 4,553 miles, so 7 years after it was new! And it then had a total of 12 services listed the last on 2020-03-17 at 6,220 miles. Wow only 6,220 miles in 10 years and 12 services! Getting money back through my bank, no garage details or anything. Very disappointing indeed

What a con done the free check on a used vehicle "appears to have a possible theft alert on record " with a red exclamation mark , and low & behold after coughing up £13 for a full report nothing appeared on the full report , what a low way of getting someone to spend the cash and nothing on file must be desperate for business if they have to bend the facts in order to get peoples money .

Free car check is good as it tells you what you need to know. It's not in depth, you have to pay for that, but it is good. The basics are a good indicator of how the car is.
I always use this site
