As a first-time car buyer in the UK, I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision before buying a car. CarCanny was a great help, offering a free check and detailed reports at very competitive prices. The free check matched the information from govt services. I was a little sceptical at first as it seemed quite new but the report was excellent and the price was around four times lower than CarVertical. Great value for money and worth checking out when buying a used car!

I ran a CarCanny check on a car I was considering buying and I’m very glad I did. The report was comprehensive, with all the key data on the car in one place. Importantly, it flagged outstanding finance on the vehicle, which I’d need the seller to settle before I could safely buy it. I hadn’t even thought about that, so the finance flag alone made it worth the money. The valuation tool was also useful: it showed recent sales of similar cars, so I could check I wasn’t overpaying, and it gave me something to negotiate with. Recommended if you’re buying a used car in the UK.
