The Salesman Yasin was very professional and helpful. There was no hard sell of the ancillary items but clear information was freely offered. I will reserve full judgment until the deal is completed... See more

I recently bought a car from Car Planet and had a fantastic experience, thanks to Mo Eka. The process was smooth, professional, and completely hassle-free from start to finish. Highly recommended!
Great service the support was second to none and could not do enough to fulfill my request
Great experience, Daniel was very helpful, I am happy with the service
5 stars for young sales man Mehraz who was extremely courteous (well done Mehraz's mum) throughout the whole sale. He would not be baited and remained professional throughout, and I left with the BMW convertible my wife wanted. He was patient, asked the right questions, very polite and knowledge, he has an extremely great career in front of him and I would recommend people ask for him when they are looking for a car. He kept hes promises and even communciated when not at work. (Aslo thank you Megan for the final documentation handover). Well done guys!!

I brought a car on Saturday the 29th of August 2026.After only three days, the clutch pedal was shuddering when you pull away in first gear.I called five times and was given five different stories of what to do.Saba assisted me finally but the earliest date to bring it back to their mega centre in Enfield was the 29th of September 2026.So we are now stuck without a car for another four weeks.Totally unacceptable and totally let down by Car Planet. If they value my custom, they will get me a quicker appointment next week?

We brought our car from Car Planet a few days ago and we were highly delighted with it. The staff were so helpful especially Yosuf who helped us from start to finish. We would not hesitate in recommending anyone looking to buy a 1st class car from this brilliant Car Dealers.

What a shocking place. Do not purchase a vehicle from these deceitful people. The whole atmosphere of the place is corrupt. The hard sell is offensive. I am now looking to return a vehicle I purchased (inexplicably) due to too many issues. Totally ignored post purchase promises. No Customer Service. I anticipate a legal struggle. Do not buy a vehicle here. If I could give no stars I would.

Our experience was awful. The aftersales team is a disgrace! They sold me a car which wouldn't start after a day. (It also had been in a accident, I had the proof from our local garage). They tried to delay the whole process and wouldn’t even listen to me when I was asking for a refund which after a while they decline. I had to get court advice and with the correct proof etc they had no choice but apologise and refund me. It was a very stressful time .Stay away from them. Yes the sales team is very friendly of course! But remember that they're the ones selling you lies. Don't be fooled by them! Like I said, the aftersales team is a joke! STAY AWAY!

Warranty warning.
Please be advised we were sold a rac warranty by Angel at Watford Car Planet. The warranty does not cover diagnostics so you will still have to pay high fees to find out what is wrong with a car before you can claim on the warranty. We were sold a Platinum warranty for £2000.
We were charged £2000 for the warranty. When we bought the car we were told it would have a pre delivery inspection. We took it straight for a full service. It was discovered it needed brake pads, a new battery and the air con was not charged. It was dirty. Please don't distort what happened. We were put through a very rigorous sales pitch to have the warranty whereby we were told it covered absolutely everything and would never need to worry. That wasn't true. It took weeks to get the initial repairs done and a lot of admin by us. Now we are faced with another light on the dashboard and told we have to pay for very expensive diagnostics by the warranty chosen garage. At a cost of double a normal diagnostic. We have contacted the warranty provider and car planet every day for a week and they make excuses. Aftersales say go to sales, sales say go to aftersales. Angel promised to ring us back that day, she didn't, then we are told she's not in work for days and put through to lines that ring out. The warranty was not complimentary, it cost £2000. We were also given a very low part ex on our pristine car. Get your facts straight before you post in public.

Car Planet Con Saga
On the second of august my family and i travelled to car planet Watford to view a Citroen C3 Aircross that we found on the their website. On arrival we were greeted by our sales rep Haroon who persuaded us to test drive some other cars during our visit too. We spent a long chaotic afternoon there on the busy premises (customers were seen hitting cars on their way out of the car park, one car had ran out of petrol on the test route forcing the sales rep to walk to the nearest petrol station to fill up)
eventually after 4 hours we test drove the car we had come to see and decided to proceed with the sale. Whilst early on in the process we confirmed we would be paying in cash we went through at least 3 rounds of hard sell trying to get us to purchase the car on finance instead.
By this point my young son was tired and hungry so my partner decided to drive them both home and leave me to complete the sale. I paid for the car and was directed upstairs to the handover team. After an additional 1.5hours waiting I was told by the handover team that there was no V5 form and that I would need to drive to the nearest post office and complete a V25 form to obtain a new one. Whilst alarm bells were ringing at this point I had already paid for the car and after 6hours on site I just wanted to get my new car and leave. I was assured that this would be no problem and I can easily get this refunded by car planet when I submit the receipt of the v25 form.
I drove the car home and thought nothing of it. The very next morning I went to start the car only to find the car had entered limp mode with an engine failure warning and spanner service light activated.
I immediately phoned car planet and the after sales team response was to drive the car to the nearest garage, get the car diagnosed and send the quote to them for approval before getting the car fixed and being refunded. Seeing as this fault presented itself in less than 24 hours after purchase and the car dangerous to drive (so much for their advertised 150 point check) I declined that option and informed car planet that as the car was still under 30 days warranty that it was their responsibility to resolve the fault.
Their next option was to send a mechanic out to diagnose the fault (at our expense - to be refunded at a later date) before we could return the car.
At this point I lost all confidence in the car and car planets reputation (additional research on the internet confirmed this where I found 100’s of customers having similar experiences) so I informed car planet I would be exercising my short term right to refuse the car and return it for full credit.
Again car planet tried to dissuade me from this action but I held firm. I was then told that the car could not be collected until 17th august. I told car planet that this was unacceptable as the car was for an upcoming family holiday and we needed the refund in order to purchase a replacement. Car planet were unsympathetic to our plight saying ‘they get lots of cars returned’ and they had no available transport (unless I wanted to pay for it) before the 17th. this delay resulted in us having to hire a car for our holiday and once you add the daily temporary insurance/car tax to keep the broken car until collection we were out of pocket by more than £500.
After two stressful weeks of waiting finally the car was collected 17/08 and sent back to the garage for validation before a credit would be issued.
After two more weeks of chasing we received our refund 01/09. Minus £250 as we didn’t provide a v5 form!
Car planet have now told us that they will not refund the £250 until we provide the v5 form (this has yet to be received from the DVLA)
So in summary, car planet were happy to sell a faulty vehicle without proper documentation then delay and obstruct the refund process that means we are currently £750 out of pocket and still no means to buy a replacement car!
I am now seeking legal advice and action to resolve this issue and obtain the remainder of this refund ASAP.

I bought a car from car planet Watford. Less than 24 hours after I got it the engine management light came on they told me to take it to a garage and get a diagnositic test done at their cost which I did. Came up as Nox sensor faulty. I spoke to car planet after sales who said they couldn’t book my car in with them for 3 weeks to look at it. Not an acceptable wait for a car id had less than a day! The quote to get it fixed myself was £620 they only offered to cover £350. I arranged for it to get fixed myself and my final bill was £770 so I had to fork out the remaining costs myself which I do not think is fair. I don’t trust these guys at all they say they check the cars but there is no way they are checked properly. I wish I’d got an independent inspection done and I wouldn’t recommend buying a car from them. Absolute jokers!!

Visited Car Planet Watford to look at a particular car I saw on the website on Monday (31st August) I was shown the car by the lovely Belinda who also came on the test drive with me. I wasn’t even expecting to take the car home the same day, but Belinda was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I did end up bringing the car home same day. I would definitely recommend Car Planet.

A big thank you to Yasin who helped us find the perfect family car. He was a pleasure to deal with and ensured things were done as fast as possible. Also thank you to Dinosh who assisted me in Yasin’s absence. Finally a special thank you to Tamari who was lovely and pleasant to deal with - she showed us some great contenders and was very knowledgable.
