Nikki at the London office was great, she put together a package, took care of all our wedding arrangements, private transfers, flights and chosen the hotels for us, our family and friends. They have a great team to take care of you, the Reps we got to meet in Cuba: Maria, Adrian and Helen including the drivers were all very helpful. Special mention to Agustin who was not only our Interpreter during our wedding ceremony, but a fantastic tour guide on our trip to Trinidad. Everybody had a great time so thank you!

This is the second trip we have taken with Captivating Cuba, the last was 12 years ago and again the service and attention to detail was excellent.
Nikki who booked everything for us in the UK was so attentive to our needs and was always available to email or phone. She also arranged additional luggage to enable us to take gifts and medical supplies to a local church in Havana.
Adrian the rep in Havana gave us very helpful advice in getting around. He was available every day we were there. He offered excursions and experiences but was not pushy at all and was extremely knowledgeable.
Maria, our rep in Varadero was just perfect, arranged the tickets for our Catamaran trip for our wedding anniversary and even surprised us with flowers and fizz upon our return.
All in all I can not fault the service we have received from Captivating Cuba and would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to this fabulous country.

Organised a holiday for us which went without a hitch from start to finish. Excellent itinerary. Great local guides and would thoroughly recommend.

On the whole a good holiday. All the arrangements went smoothly and the quality of the accommodation met our expectations. However whilst Captivating Cuba were reasonably efficient, one did not feel at all as if one was a valued client. Having run my own travel company (tour operation) for 30 years I know how important this aspect is. Captivating Cuba's personal contact/liaison was clearly kept down to the minimum and responses were slow. I wouldn't rush to recommend them although in the end the arrangements were satisfactory. The best aspect of the holiday were all the fantastic local guides, especially Augustin in Havana - really exceptional.

We had an excellent experience with Captivating Cuba. We were fortunate in that our small group essential tour was a group of 2! we had a driver and tour guide to ourselves. The driver was so polite and friendly -insisting on opening doors for us -always prompt and courteous. He didn't speak much English but this was never a problem. Our tour guide was excellent - his English was perfect and he talked about his life in Cuba and answered all of our questions.
We loved staying in the Casas - they were well equipped and very comfortable - it gave us a true feel of living in Cuba.
In Havana on our last night we were taken to 5 Sentidos - absolutely the best food we ate in Cuba.

Excellent service both before and during. We had a problem or two which were dealt with by team in Cuba. But for your information one problem was the Havana by night tour which was in fact a walking tour and we did not know this at time of booking. The team in Cuba were very good and after a mix up which meant we missed meal offered us dinner in Trinidad - not sure if uk knows it’s a walking tour so best advise people in future. The hotel room in Trinidad must ha e been worse room in totes, room 218 faces shaft with air condition pipes so very noisy again worth bearing in mind and not putting your clients there. But staff excellent, helpful and great knowledge. Recommending you endlessly 😃

All the staff in Cuba were really helpful giving us great advice on where to go changing money etc everything ran smoothly with all our pick ups on time.
Carlos in Trinidad even rang our driver so he could speak to us before we left to wish us a safe journey and if there was anything else he could help with
I was surprised by one of the guides with a birthday present from CaptivatingCuba as it was my birthday whilst in Cuba this was really thoughtful
All the accommodation recommended by the girls in the uk was wonderful and the sightseeing transfers were a great idea as we were able to see lots more of Cuba with lunches in local places

Fantastic company! From the initial planning and deciding on an itinerary to support in-country, Captivating Cuba have been great. The information we received before we went was detailed and accurate, the excursions were great and Adrian in Havana’s restaurant suggestions were all excellent. We had an amazing time and highly recommend Captivating Cuba to anyone planning a trip to Cuba, thank you!

The arrangements made by Captivating Cuba were good, eg smooth transfers, helpful agents in each of the three centres we visited, good tours with knowledgeable guides on the whole. The Casas we stayed in were of mixed quality_ Madero in Havana was lovely, Jorge and Ana Luisa in Vinales was highly acceptable. Unfortunately Buri y Nesti in Trinidad was not a sufficient standard. The owners were very friendly but spoke only Spanish - not great for a 'hotel.' The room left a lot to be desired: there were plenty of cupboards but most were locked and un-useable, the door to the bathroom had no handle so we had to wedge it shut, the bathroom appeared modern but of the two basins only one had enough water pressure to be useable. The bed was placed to make it very awkward to switch the bedside lights on and off. The food was plentiful but lacked finesse and was quite greasy. Overall, an interesting country but beware of the tipping requests especially in Havana, the waiter, the loo attendant and the band whenever you eat out! Not my most wow holiday but Captivating Cuba did well for us.
