Didn't take payment, several months later demanded transfer to their bank account
I ordered a North trampoline in April, it was delivered within the agreed timeframe with no issues. In July I received a short, plain email saying that my payment hadn't been taken at the time of the order and asked that I send it (over £1000) to bank details included in the email. I found this very odd and assumed it was a scam.
In October, I received 2 more emails, the last one threatening me with a debt collection agency. At this point I looked into it and requested paperwork proving they had not taken payment. I wasn't sent anything adequate and rang my credit card company. They trawled through the old statements with me and couldn't find the payment. They did note Capital Play would have had 6 months to claim the payment so I was right not to transfer any funds to them before this point. There was never an apology for the error on their part, just requests for payment. I will never deal with this company again.

North Explorer 11 x 16 foot oval trampoline
I bought a North Explorer trampoline from Capital Play, after having had a bad experience with the quality of a trampoline from a different company, which was faulty on arrival.
The service from Capital Play was brilliant, my new trampoline arrived three days after ordering and was in great condition.
The quality of the trampoline itself was far superior to the first company I had bought from and assembly was much easier, with no tools required.
The trampoline feels very sturdy and the bounce is amazing. It more than makes up for the disappointing experience with the first company.

Weeks without trampoline - look elsewhere
I’m honestly shocked by the level of service I’ve received from North Trampoline and Capital Play (the UK importers of North Trampoline). I ordered a trampoline for £1,200 that was supposed to arrive in 2–3 working days — it’s now been weeks and I’m still waiting, with no clear delivery date.
I have called and emailed multiple times and have been repeatedly told it would be dispatched “today” or “ASAP”, but then nothing happens — and no one calls back, despite promising to. I was told again today that everything is now in stock and ready to ship, but I’ve heard that before and still have no tracking details or confirmation.
It’s incredibly frustrating when you read positive reviews and expect premium service — I genuinely believe I would have received better service from other brands like Berg Trampolines.
I’ve raised a formal complaint with Capital Play and North Trampoline but it has been ignored so far. I’ve had no real communication, no apology, and no compensation offered for the delays and stress.
I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from North Trampoline or Capital Play. If you value clear communication, reliable delivery, and good customer service, I’d look elsewhere.

Great service
Delivery was super quick, they couldnt have been more helpful with ordering and delivery. Springs were tight so it took a lot of strength to assemble but it was worth it!

I can’t thank these guys enough. From my enquiry to the finished product. Customer service was outstanding. Communication was fantastic. The guys that came to the house and put the Inground trampoline in were absolutely lovely. Very tidy, extremely polite and professional. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Oh and kids absolutely love the trampoline and say it’s go loads of bounce. Much better than the one they had previously. 10*’s 👍👍

Great product but be prepared
You can tell the materials are high quality. But the videos and guidance on digging out are misleading anything 10ft and over you will want an excavator. None of the videos associated with the sized showcase an excavator, they should really just to prepare people. The soil quality of your dig and proximity to established trees will have a significant bearing on how clean your hole dig is and how time consuming.
I think they should make this clearer, it is written on the instructions, but not in the videos.
The rope toggles for the padding in particular are a challenge. However on the whole (mind the pun) it is fantastic you can tell they have put together a quality product and the assembly is super simple. The groundwork is not.

You are absolutely correct that soil types can vary hugely and this can impact on the time it takes to install your trampoline especially if you have heavy clay so allowing a bit of extra time in this case would be very wise. You also mention the proximity of tree roots and again you are correct that avoiding digging under the canopy of a tree (as the roots tend to mimic that area) will help make your install go much more smoothly. We will incorporate this into our web-pages moving forward. Thanks once again for the review and for the suggestions on expanding our installation advice pages. Replacement pads
Excellent service. Item delivered quickly and looks great. Hoping replacement pads las longer than last ones and the mesh material deteriorated quickly after sun exposure. Quite expensive but certainly reduces slap noise.

Worth it!
We got the in-ground trampoline in May and have been having so much FUN. It was worth every pound having Paul and the team install it for us. Their knowledge, manner of working, and down to earth approachable way of talking and listening was above and beyond. The trampoline is a wonderful, safe and fun addition to our home.
