About Insider by Capitalist Exploits
Written by the company
Insider is an investment research service providing deep value investment ideas that we - and our clients - are invested in.
We are headquartered in Dubai, but operate globally.
PERFORMANCE
Since 2016, Insider has delivered asymmetric investment opportunities to thousands of subscribers worldwide.
Our portfolios have consistently outperformed global benchmarks by identifying deeply undervalued sectors before capital rotates back into them.
INVESTMENT STRATEGY
The investments found within Insider all exhibit asymmetry - the potential to achieve substantial returns, with contained downside. A small number of winners can more than offset any losers.
The price we pay for consistently beating the market is patience. Our time-horizons are measured in years, not months, because we buy deep value stocks in sectors at multi-year lows - often 80-95% off previous highs.
The volatility when holding our stocks is by far the biggest challenge new members face. We manage risk through position sizing (1-2% per position), not stop-losses.
UNFILTERED COMMENTARY
Some reviews describe our commentary as politically charged or contrarian. That's intentional.
Our job is to identify the disconnect between perception and reality - and profit from it. Our track record proves this approach works.
We are naturally skeptical of all politicians, parties, and institutions. We call out nonsense where we see it, regardless of politics or worldview.
WHY CHOOSE US?
Skin in the game: We invest in what we publish
Solid track record: Verified brokerage returns
Sector-agnostic: We go wherever the opportunity exists
Global mandate: Positions across 25+ countries
Independence: Free to think, say, and do as we please
Transparency: Full portfolio visibility
Money-back guarantee: We stand behind our service
The key difference between Insider and typical financial newsletters: we are first and foremost investors, not publishers. We make money investing, not selling subscriptions.

New to Capital Exploits
I am new to Capital Exploits, but am intrigued with their investment philosophy, and am now broadly invested in their "skeleton portfolio." These stocks are doing fine currently, though time will tell, and I am holding off on further investments in their portfolios whilst I watch what these stocks do. I would say that my only point of aggravation at this time is their webpage, which could be much more informative and friendly to navigate. I'd rather find the information I need there than slogging through some massive SLACK chatpage. On the wepage, the videos don't play because of some mysterious "ad blocking" that makes no sense. They are clearly dated, which is ok, but still a bit disconcerting. There should be an easy link to current webinars, but it always seems to be a struggle to find it. Recent buy and/or sell recommendations should have their own page for easy access; instead I find myself hunting down whatever email they sent (which I do appreciate receiving) to remind myself of what actions they recommend taking. Not clear how to get into the foreign markets, and they could be more helpful with that I think. All in all...pleased with the equities' performance--for now--and interested in learning more from them.

I'm surprised to see this many good…
I'm surprised to see this many good reviews.
I took a trial period some years back, I collected all the buy recommendations and all the sales for the few years they had been in service, then I calculated all the profits/losses for each stock for the period when they were held and the result was about the same as the indexes. I also noted that there were some inconsistencies in their numbers, but I did the best that I could with the numbers.
I have to note that this was in the time when everything was still going up and not beating the market in this period of time, was unbelievable to me.
I like Chris, but I think the trader that they had back then wasn't that good. I have no idea if he's still there.
I read some of the reviews here and they are mostly focused on the quality of the newsletter, not the actual economic impact.
In my view, for a service to be useful, it has to beat the market so there is a handy profit after the membership fee is subtracted. This is because there is always more management with this kind of investment, than just putting the money in an index fund.
Update 20-08-2025
-----------------------
1)
Yes, I reviewed all your available data in mid 2021 and according to these you didn't beat the indexes. I don't need to invest money, to review the data.
2)
So if I'm stating the facts, I'm complaining?
3)
You were selling positions you had never officially entered according to your trade alerts.
There were missing positions in your lists that you had entered earlier
So, it's true that there was no integrity in your data and I can only base my view on the available data.
4)
I'm only aware of how it was back in 2021.
For persons like me to become an investor, I would recommend you to:
1) Make trade alerts for all your trades, no matter how tiny. Every trade needs a reason.
2) Always include the ticker or possibly multiple tickers in the trade alert. This can avoid some confusion.
3) Make all your exits available, with date of exit
And I'll deduct one star for your attitude.

I like the out of mainstream thinking
I like the out of mainstream thinking. Both on the investment side and also the political social side. I believe very much that the portfolio construction of capitalist exploits will help me go through the tough time i can see on the horizon.

Review from a Paycheck to Paycheck English Carpenter.
I have been a member of Insider now for around 6 months. I first heard Chris speak on the George Gammon show and was astonished how closely aligned his views are to my own. I advise anybody who is interested in joining to go on YouTube and type in Chris Macintosh, his interviews will tell you everything you need to know about Chris and Insider. I joined insider via an offer which cost me around £1200. I had no money to invest. I will probably only invest around £10,000 - £20,000 this year if I'm lucky (much more than I have invested any other year), which means after the insider fees I may not make much money. But in spite of this I have no regrets. I have a broker account set up with most of the company's in the capex portfolio. The insider website is fantastic (easy to understand even if you are a novice). They have monthly QnA sessions which are pure gold. I haven't used the forum yet but hear that's the best bit. Then the newsletter itself has all the information you will ever need about the company's you are investing in and what is going on around the world from an unbiased perspective. Before joining I never knew how to invest, what to invest in or where to start. Now I do. It has given me focus to build up my portfolio as fast as possible, it's low maintenance and fun along the way. For the record my investments so far after 6 months are running at around a ten percent profit. Hope this helps.

Great Value for the Money
I'm a big believer that expert information is worth paying for and this is undoubtedly a great value for the money. Chris, Brad, and Lucas do an incredible job of engaging with CE members' questions and they put a ton of work into macro analysis that goes into the regular newsletters. I just wish I had joined sooner!

Great newsletter with longterm view
Review after over one year: A helpful, informative, and humorous newsletter service designed for long-term stock market success. Anyone looking for glossy stock market letters is probably in the wrong place. However, the insights are extremely informative, well-researched, and presented with a touch of humor.

These guys are the best!
These guys are the best! Very professional and it is obvious they have been in the world of investing for a very long time. Investing is a hard game at the best of times, and having the Capex team along your side as an investor is a big relief. Thanks Capex team I've learnt a lot from you, keep up the great work!

Capital exploits has been an eye opener…
Capital exploits has been an eye opener to me with my previous limited investing experience. Chris and his team created a thorough website with much information which helped guide me with investing basics and by not putting my eggs in one basket while maximizing returns. Thank you Capital Exploits team!
The fastest way to get really rich
From all investing newsletters I have ever paid for. Capex Insider is simply blulsiht-free sharing of ideology that I have ever seen.
Not only guys have skin in the game, they also share lots of secrets for people who wish to learn.
I like Chris' direct Russian-style communication. Very interesting Jujitsu style invest strategy.
Of course, it is not for every one. It needs strong spine, and testicular endurance. It is wet dream of investing world for rich people with life who focus on living rather than popular rat race.
You bet, and live...it either works or not. I used to be a subscriber of Bert Dohmen's Wellington Letter.
It is great for short-term bets, and chartsturbation. I still collect option premiums for feeling of "regural" income, but I switched most of my activities based on CapexInsider.
I quit all newsletters, and swapped capex newsletter for full capex insider membership. Hopping to learn more.
I have never liked the moder education follow the "rules" crap. It never worked because Nature is not static.
I want to know why, when you understand finally...everything becomes clear, and simple.
In last 2 years, I have learnt from Capex guys more than in last 20 years. Thanks guys!!!

Capitalist Exploits provides investment advise that makes sense
Capitalist Exploits provides investment advise that makes sense. I've been following their advise for a few years now and find the perspective and insights valuable. The newsletters and info are well-researched, the presentation is straightforward, and the team is knowledgeable. With Capitalist Exploits I finally feel 'ahead of the game' instead of another follower to trends that have past. Being in the U.S., most of the info I get is U.S. and Europe-centric. I really value the global prospective provided by Capitalist Exploits.

I’ve tried a couple of other financial news letters, but was constantly hounded to upgrade to get the real information I needed. I’am very happy with Capitalist Exploits. When you join the full subscription you truly get everything promised. It’s just sound investment reasoning.
Grateful for the Capex Insider team!
I enjoy setting up my account with asymmetric trades...where I limit the down-side risk and increase great returns based upon very well-researched investment themes. Chris, Brad, and Lucas at Capitalist Exploits are nailing it.
Straightforward and easy to understand
I really like the clarity provided and straightforward approach to investing. Good and fundamentally sound is how I would describe the approach. Easy to understand the thinking behind the strategy. Content is well organized too.
Value/ Tangible assets over Ponzi financialized soup
Unless it is your day job, no one has the time to do the amount of research that Brad and Chris deliver on a fortnightly /monthly basis.
Brad is a long term value investor with a proven track record and Chris is all over the macro landscape. Combined they offer a service that allows me to keep my head, in what are very volatile times.
The service trains you how to think and keep the emotion out of investing. At the same time teaching you how to build and construct a portfolio.
There is also a dividend portfolio that I am using for my parents share account. Staying out of all that is ponzi and building patient positions for the long term in companies that represent true value.
The monthly Q and A's are very valuable too if you have any specific questions for the gentlemen.
I would highly recommend this service. I would love Chris to be wrong about most of what he talks about but despite his claims I think he may have a couple of crystal balls.
