When purchasing several oil paintings from canvas replicas, I was a little concerned about the whole process and the quality of the results. I have to say I am now a huge fan of their product. The process was easy and the results were fantastic.

I found an art series (3 pieces) that I fell in love with in gallery while on vacation - a local artist to that area. I absolutely adored them, but they were way out of my price range and also a little larger than I has space for.

Bart recreated the pieces, all 3 of them, perfectly. They are amazing. He could not have done a better job. He even made them to scale, but a bit smaller for my needs.

We have bought 3 paintings from Bart over the last 5 years. Firstly, the process to order is smooth, and the communication from Bart is excellent though-out the process. We live in South Africa so shipping is a bit more challenging, but Bart has made special effort every time to keep us informed. Just received our 3rd painting from Canvas Replicas. The 3rd, a large 33' X 51' copy of Gustave Dore's "Andromeda". They've done an incredible job. We couldn't be happier.

My wife and I collected art and antiques for over 50 years. In our 70's, we decided, for several reasons, that the time had come to disburse our collections, and over a two year period, through direct sales and auctions, we did. Almost immediately, however, we missed the pleasure of being surrounded by works of art, so we began to search for a replacement for our originals which would give us the same pleasures that our previous collections had. After a lengthly process, we decided that oil replicas of historic paintings, such as those we had seen in museums over the years, would be the best solution to satisfy our desires, and we began a search to determine which provider would best meet our needs. After a lengthy search of the internet, and the comparison of many producers of oil painting replicas, it became clear to us that one stood clearly above the rest. That provider was Canvas Replicas.
We contacted them, and spoke with Bart Markman, who thoroughly talked us through the process of selecting an artist and painting, exactly how the work would be accomplished by the painter, as well as, the production and delivery schedule. He took as much time as we needed to understand the process, and provided many insights to help us during the selection process.
Ultimately, we selected four Van Gogh's and one Monet, which arrived in perfect condition and considerably earlier than promised. They were stunning. They have been framed and are on our walls exuding the essence of the originals. They provide us great pleasure every day and we have ordered an additional work from them.
The bottom line is that Canvas Replicas delivers what it promises. Since my last review, in January, 2020, we have received the additional work that we purchased from Canvas Replicas (Renoir's "Le Moulin de la Gallette"). That painting is an extremely complex work considering both its color and figural detail, and we held our breath awaiting its arrival. When we unrolled and had our first view of the canvas, we found a painting breathtakingly true to the original. It is stunningly beautiful, and because of the story it tells, we will be enjoying and seeing something new in it every day for many years to come. I said it before and I will say it again. Canvas Replicas delivers what it promises period.

I was to have a company in London replicate "The Wedding of Nicholas II and Grand Princess Alexandra..." by L. Tuxen. They then decided they weren't sure they could do it to my satisfaction and refunded my deposit. Did wish me well in locating another company. Well I did find one called Canvas Replicas. And I'd like to thank the other company for changing it's mind. Not only did CR do an outstanding job - and that's an understatement but the cost was much less with no reduction in quality - quite a rare experience these days! I give a great deal of credit to Bart Markman who was very friendly and helpful along with being most informative. .Finding Canvas Replcas was a Godsend and needless to say will highly recommend them to anyone looking to replcate an artwork. I cannot say enough good things about Canvas Replicas! I did a lot of research on companies that could replicate a Van Gogh for me, and I got really nervous because there seems to be a lot of questionable companies out there and lots of false reviews, etc. I dug deep and then found Bart at Canvas Replicas in Utah (he is the owner). I called and spoke with him directly to understand the process and share with him my specific requests for the painting. He was amazing...so great to talk to the owner and felt absolutely positive about choosing them. Ordered Cafe Terrace at Night, oil painting by Van Gogh. Asked Bart to have the artist make the blues and yellows pop, and to paint the edges blue because I am having it stretched, not framed. Well it arrived today, ahead of schedule, and I literally screamed in delight. IT IS GORGEOUS. It is everything I hoped and more. I will send Bart a picture of it once it is hanging so he can add it to his web site. I don't think a photo does it justice though. To say I am happy is an understatement. I truly cannot wait to do another painting with this company. DO NOT purchase from anyone else...you have found the right place! The price is good and the results are stunning. Thank you Bart!!!

I took a chance on Canvas Replicas when I found it while browsing on the Web. I ordered Angler In a Forest Interior by Thomas Hill. I called the website and found it very reassuring to talk to the owner who walked me through all the considerations on size and framing suggestions. I am very pleased with the result. It looks exactly like the picture online. It's great to find just the kind of painting you want and in multiple sizes to fit exactly in the space you have. I would definitely order again.

Canvas Replicas succeeded in reproducing a complex painting of a historical scene in excellent detail, including the three realistic figures at work in their laboratory. I'm quite pleased with the painting, including its brushstroke technique and faithful capture of color. It fulfills a longstanding wish to have a copy of the museum masterpiece to display and enjoy alongside my collection of original paintings, ceramics and sculptures in our home.

I would have to start by saying the real reproduction framed in my house is better than I could imagine it.
I just placed my third order with Canvas Replicas. Bart has always been excellent to work with, and communicates every time to ensure the order is perfect from the start so there are no errors in what is being painted so even problems I would not have thought of are taken care of before the reproduction work is even started.
The paintings have been amazing as well. I've had reproductions of Renoir, Degas, Thomas Moran, and Frederic Remington. The detail and quality has been perfect in every case. My favorite by far is Dancers, Pink and Green (1890) by Degas, and I expect The Golden Hour by Thomas Moran will be just as excellent quality. The price has been exactly what I was looking for on all the reproductions. You won't be sorry to go with Canvas Replicas.

Canvas Replicas did an amazing job on replicating my canvas. I had an original that was 6’ x 6’ with lots of detail. I was asked to send pictures rather than my one original through the mail. Canvas Replicas was able to recreate my original with ALL the original details. They then sent my canvas packaged in such a way that it was protected from damage. I highly recommend this company!!

I have had three wonderful paintings created by Bart's mysterious but talented replica artists. A private Jacques Louis David - Belarius covering a complete wall. The Entombment of Atala, probably the most wonderful Romantic era painting in the Louvre and Renoir's lunch by the River - amazing painting...........

We had Monet's Port at Argenteuiel painted several months ago. Not too shabby, compared to the original. The only problem we have (too late to do anything about it) is the shading under the bridge isn't apparent as in the original. Other than that, we're very happy. We've just commissioned another by Renoir. We'll see how they do!
