Wonderful school community that challenges my children to achieve academically, socially, and morally.

They are focused on results. The overall wellbeing of the human is not taken into consideration. Something as simple as recess, that all people look back at as part of our upbringing is totally ignored. 15 Minute recess.. 15 MINUTE for 6-7-8-9- and 10 year olds. That's almost criminal.
They punish kids for dress codes if they wear one thing wrong. They have a 1.5 hour wait for families to pickup their children, of course, because they let out all grades from kindergarten to 8th grad at once. As a result cars come in as early as 2 pm and leave at 3:25. Hand to God, that is not an exaggeration. So, good luck if you have work, another child at another school or a life.
There is more to life than math results, and humans lose their individuality in there.
So why am I there you might be asking? Well, my child is a gifted and an advanced child and Canton schools are so behind in taking care of gifted children that they pushed us in this direction. My child came from Montessori Schools and both the Canton systems have pretty much traumatized, neglected her individuality and robbed her of her childhood.
If you are in another city don't come to Canton, try Montessori, private schools, Northville, Novi or move to Europe. Good luck and God bless

Areas of improvements - Need to entertain more extracarricular activities and challenging homeworks.

Canton Charter Academy has a strong base moral focus curriculum from month to month.

This school is the best for my kids. They have many opportunities for the kids to strengthen their learning skills. They provide this kids with a nice clean environment for learning. The teachers are easy to communicate with, and very approachable.
