It's a very good system and relatively easy to use. The customer service is excellent. I spoke with Erin and she was very helpful. If you are self-employed (like me), I highly recommend that you get an accountants letter to support the SA302. This will save you time. All in all, a good service.

Utterly humiliating.
Why can't I see the rent seekers' bank statements? Or their tax returns?
What if they are about to default on their mortgage? What if HMRC are about to confiscate their assets?
Perhaps, so we can all pretend that I am not aware of how thoroughly I am being shafted.
Or maybe, so we can all pretend like I am the one likely to inflict financial hardship in this relationship.
Edward was friendly, effective and efficient. He turned what I was dreading to be a lengthy painful process to fix an issue with my account into a pleasant and short phone call. Brilliant customer service!

Unfortunately no reliable. Applied for a house, after filling out the referencing application two days later still no answer. Contacted the company which is listed under canopy/ letmojo. The guy on the phone told me my credit check and everything is perfect the only thing he needs are 3 payslips and the ID. Provided that proof. On the phone again he told me all super he’s finishing now and sending it to the letting agent. Hours later I received a new request again provided proof of sufficient income etc. being told again all good hours later again same story again new documents requested. After sending several proof of documents still they can’t make their mind up about my income as working international doesn’t fit in their portfolio either payslips and work contract. Having then received calls on Monday to ask me consistently same questions and telling me they’ll leave it up to the letting agent. My employer provided references all the way through and slightly got annoyed about the waste of time and unprofessional behaviour. Back to the letting agent who now needs to calculate all again and being told I have handed is tea did 3 only two payslips in which isn’t true even that this referencing company is unable to provide sufficient. An experience between chasing up on delayed responses, insufficient work attitude from staff and a system which is so called new and doesn’t work proper yet so I’ve been told. Not a great experience and could have all dealt much more professional and quick. However now after the whole disaster they keep phoning and emailing you to buy insurances or whatever else. Ridiculous

I am trying to act as guarantor for a friend but this system is ridiculously inflexible and does not understand what it is doing. It has found my pension income from my bank account but cannot accept it because it cannot appear to calculate it. I have proof of savings and pension value, in excess of £1,000,000. The agent expressed exasperation as the information I showed her was very clear and stated she did not really understand how Canopy operates. Without this issue it is a difficult and confusing system that both I and the proposed tenant had trouble with (it too me over an hour to get the id confirmation to work) and there is no way we could find to ask them other than a general query section separate from the application that doesn’t allow input of an e mail address in the section designated for it!!! We are trying to work with the agency directly as they are pretty confused with this system.
