Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the natural look and feel of the product, often finding them easy to apply and a good alternative to salon nails. Some users report that the nails last a long time, especially when instructions are followed carefully, with some even lasting up to three weeks. The brush-on glue is frequently mentioned as a good option for strong adhesion, and the adhesive tabs are noted for being gentler on natural nails. However, some people were dissatisfied with the product's durability, reporting that the nails fell off quickly, sometimes within hours or a few days, even after following instructions. There are also concerns about potential damage to natural nails, with some experiencing brittleness, peeling, or even discoloration after removal. A few customers found the application process messy or difficult, particularly with the glue, and some felt the product's appearance looked cheap or that the sizing was inconsistent.

Loved them on but getting them off

Loved them on but getting them off, holy cow. Not good. My nails have never looked so bad. Used a whole bottle of the magic remover after soaking them in water. The tip of my nail tore off on most of my fingers. I used the brush on glue as directed but took so long to remove and damaged the nail I will never buy these again.

Not overly impressed.

I ordered a simple butterscotch colour for an event. Luckily the nails turned up on the day of the event. I followed the instructions to apply the nails and they looked lovely. However, the next day, I looked at my hands and 2 of the nails were missing. So not even 24 hours of wear. I'm sorry, but I won't be buying them again. They are no better than the cheaper brands.

It’s all in the application…🤓

It’s all in the application…🤓
I love mine.🫶 Have found the extra short suits me best.
Nail prep (cuticle and file) properly, use a good amount of glue on your existing nail and the back of candy claw (with 30 sec to get sticky), press on (and hold down for 30 sec) and you are good to go. Practise makes perfect with glue application 😉
I love choosing different colours. They last me 3 weeks easy.
Note: your nail will go green if water gets between nail and tip 🫣

Loved them on but now my natural nails are so weak

Mixed review but on the whole, not good.

Love the concept, loved having the nails on, however at the end of the day, 3 weeks after they've been off, my nails are in really bad condition. They won't grow much because they're so soft now that they're just tearing. So they look bad, and I can't pick or scratch anything! (Like peeling stickers... now impossible). My nails were previously in good condition.

When I had the nails on, I loved, and bought 5 more packs. Shouldn't have done that, because of the damage.

The upkeep was also a pain, because some nails popped off after a day, and others stayed on for longer than a week and would not come off withe any amount of soaking. So I had to keep reapplying and then eventually just had weird fingers for a week with some nails on and others off.

I also ended up with two 'greenies' - a new word I learned.

So basically, whilst I liked these, was really bad for my nails.

Fabulous nail kits

I ordered 2 sets of these nails and I am wearing the first ones whilst on a skiing holiday. So my hands are in and out of gloves all day and are getting fairly bashed around and touching skis etc all day.

So far they are amazing. Firstly they are still on which quite honestly I didn't think they would be. I brought the spares with me just in case.

I found putting them on a little bit tricky first time. No problem with getting them to stick on well and no overflow. I did get glue on my skin by handling them to get them positioned. The glue has all come off now but I will need to take my time a bit more next time. I used tweezers to hold the nail at the end not being stuck down which did help.

Over all I absolutely love them. They look great on and just like salon gel nails. So much cheaper and can be reused.

Waste of money - go the salon !

For me personally I followed the instructions to the latter, the next day 2 came off and I had used glue & the pads. TryIng to get them off also wasnt as easy as you claim the sticky residue didnt come off for days and I also followed the removal directions - waste of my money & i would not recomend or re purchase

Ok. Short term

Look , I finally got them on. Extra short pink ones. They look great 👍.. probably 4 popped off over 2-3 week period but easy to get back on.
However..as my nails are growing, and the candy claws are popping off of their own accord- I’m noticing that my real nails ( which were always pathetic)- are now worse. They are super thin and all broken off. So thin that I can’t even file them. What a mess.
So would I buy them again? Probably yes for a special occasion… they are fairly easy to attach, look great. But I’d probably use the stickers for short term rather than the glue

I took forever to decide to bite the bullet and buy these. I don't regret it at all. I've read other reviews about how hard the glue was to use, but as directed, if you apply it to your nail, one nail at a time and then the candy claw nail and leave it a few seconds for it to turn tacky, there is no over flow of glue. You don't need a lot of glue at all when it is on both.
I have applied these nails over a week ago, and only once has one fallen off with me being rough, not the nails fault and it reapplied easily with no fuss. I mostly forget I have them on until I look down and see how natural and pretty they are. I got extra short, I do believe this is the best length for every day use. Bruleé is the colour I have tried first. I am not gentle with my hands and these have not chipped or cracked as I've read in others reviews. I wouldn't think this to be a true reflection. No I am not being paid for this review. I honestly highly recommend them to all. They come with an instruction sheet. Do follow it.

I will not buy these again

I will not buy these again, difficult to apply and easily accidently flipped off doing everyday tasks
The glue has damaged my nails and there is still residue after a week of removing despite following the directions

Got sucked in to buy this crap via Facebook. Apparently not someone affiliated with the company raving about them. MY experience was they didn't stay on at all - with the adhesive or the glue. I did the correct prep.

I love these nails

I love these nails, they look very natural and were easy to apply, much nicer than shop brought nails.
Staff at candy claws staff are very helpful and great communication, I would highly recommend these.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I bought Candy Claws after reading great reviews, but despite carefully following the prep video and spending 40 minutes preparing my nails, two popped off within an hour. Ironically, a cheap Primark set I applied with no prep lasted over two weeks. I even used the Primark glue and they stayed on. Sadly, I’ll be sticking with Primark.

Sizing not good

I have clubbed thumbs so I was expecting to have to compromise a bit, although their website specifically has one of the FAQs about choosing a style for very wide nail beds, and that they pride themselves on having a larger than usual range of sizes. As far as I can see, their widest size is no wider than anyone else's, and a good 2 or 3 mm too narrow for me. I ordered extra short but I still needed to file them down. The nails didn't stay on at all with their glue, although they were a little better with a different glue brand. Delivery time was good, and the appearance was attractive, but overall, not worth it. Edited to add: increasing my rating because customer service got in touch to discuss my issues and were very helpful in directing me to a different style that worked better for me (although the colour choices were very limited and I would still like more width!)

Don’t stay on

Don’t stay on, with the glue OR the sticky pads, even when instructions followed to the letter. Glue lasted a couple of days, sticky pads lasted a few hours. Extra short nails are standard length (not ultra long but certainly not short).

Didn’t work for me

Didn’t work for me, my natural nail shape is much more curved than these flatter shape (especially my pinky and one next to it) even with trimming the sides of the larger acrylics didn’t work. I also have longer nail beds and these weren’t suited. I tried the almond and short oval but neither were long or curved enough.
Good communication and delivery, quality looks fine but not for me.

Thought I’d try these

Thought I’d try these. They were not short as I thought I had ordered but gave them a go anyway. They initially looked good but found the tabs useless and the glue difficult to use. After only a few days a couple of them fell off and I had to re glue them. This seemed to happen every few days and had to re glue them each time. I found removal extremely difficult despite following the instructions using oil, soaking etc.My nails are now completely ruined - weak, thin, flaky and they have turned green! It’s going to take some time to get them back to normal. I can honestly say I will never use these again!

Rubbish

Received 2 days ago, nails not much different to Superdrug ones.brought the £6 extra strong glue and I’ve lost 4 in 24 hours so annoyed. The £1 primark glue is better! Never ever again would I order from these! Do not waste your money

Ok so I have obviously read through the reviews. There are many negative. Personally I found them great. Yes they should include certain other accessories but all in all I like them. A couple fell off quickly but thats because I purposely tried to use less glue. Maybe I will change my mind if my own nails get damaged.
