Founded in 1994 in Bayswater North, our volunteer-run nursery has been situated at our current site in Mooroolbark since 2008. What started as a small community idea has grown into a passionate team of more than 100 dedicated volunteers working to protect and enhance local ecosystems and wildlife habitat, as well as preventing local plant extinctions across Melbourne’s outer east and the Yarra Valley. We specialise exclusively in growing indigenous plants. Unlike standard commercial nurseries, every tube stock we raise is specifically adapted to local soils and climate, maximizing biodiversity conservation and creating vital habitat corridors for native wildlife. We are proud members of Greenlife Industry Victoria, proving our commitment to strict environmental standards. Visit our nursery Tuesdays to Fridays and Sundays between 9:00am and 4:30pm to browse our broad selection of high-quality, low cost indigenous plants, with card, cash, and direct bank transfers accepted.
