We loved this rental and wanted to try our a van in consideration for a future purchase of an rv. Great for a short trip but for people who are tall like us, a vehicle with at least one slide would be preferable. Ran well and handled the mountain ranges in BC and Alberta beautifully.

Nice to drive. The bathroom was a little tight for us. We liked the screen door on the side and the ability to open the two back doors with a screen as well - we could cool down the RV very quickly.

The unit was clean and as shown on line. The privacy curtain on the front window did not fit properly and the velcro fasteners pulled off the wall. The bathroom sink did not drain well. The vehicle was due for a service before I had driven the distance that I had purchased before the trip started.

We are considering purchasing an RV similar to the one we rented, and the rental was part of the evaluation process to see if such an RV would suit us and to learn what we would like (and not like) in an RV. In this respect the rental was a success. 2. The value question is more nuanced: the rental was very much worth it to help avoiding costly mistakes in a purchase, but we could have stayed in some pretty nice hotels for the nightly cost of the rental.

The DVC is a luxurious way to travel. It is of top quality with lots of upgrades that are not included in other rentals. The bed was very comfortable but was awkward to get in and out of.The side door was wide with a large step but rather heavy to open and close especially on a hill. As a senior, these issues were challenging. We thank Canadream for addressing our concerns and immediately upgrading us to a C class midi. We appreciated the extra space and the quality of the replacement.

Excellent quality, easy to drive and comfortable camper, perfect for (maximum) 2 persons. Huge fridge and freezer, large Queen sleeping surface, good heating, has solar as well as a generator. When fully charged the camper battery lasts more than 12 hours, maybe up to 24, but you're eventually recharging with solar, or driving around, or plugged into shore power. We probably only burned 1/2 of the propane despite light heating at night and cooking. The vehicle is very well balanced and handles very well (it's not top heavy) and has a powerful engine. Consumption showed 16.6 L/100 KMs and its a large capacity tank. I noted that CD carefully services its vehicles; all engine liquids were topped up and engine oil was super clean even after 3 weeks. The camper build itself is excellent and VERY sturdy despite some of the decrepit secondary roads we took in Newfoundland and Cape Breton. Having said that, we've had better B class camper layouts. This camper has the dining table in the back which means you cannot leave the back couch in the down bed position. There is a provision to put the table up front and the driver and passenger seats are on swivels but are near impossible to turn around without opening the doors...so we gave up on that. Also, it would be nice if they included 2 or 3 wood blocks to level the camper (we're so used to rental companies not providing them that we either bring our own or look for scrap wood at construction site or woodyards.) It would be nice to have a few more USB outlets in the back (other than the ones in the reading lights). Also, we never figure out how to get the radio in the back to scan for stations...an instruction card would have been nice.
