I went to return an item it was little dirty I got a wiring harness for my truck not knowing I already had it on my truck so it was sitting in my truck for a few months, when I tried to return the item the employee (team leader) was rude, she was getting mad BC I was trying to return the item I also lost my receipt and I bought it with a gift card and I asked if she could give it back to the vender (rtv) she was not pleasant to speak with.

Canadian Tire, Beacon Hill, Customer service beyond the front desk, Great help from, Steve, I believe he is general manager open the box and confirmed how you can return/replace possible missing parts, Ankita, opened the box to check items and quality, replacing a part became a pleasant and good experience, great job Ankita, thanks

Canadian Tire Store Emerald Hills Sherwood Park, AB: I will never go back to that store. The customer service was frustrating to say the least. Definitely a language barrier unfortunately. Went to the Ordze Road location in Sherwood Park and what a difference!!! People there knew what they were doing and were extremely helpful.

this morning i went in to pick up an order and the lady at customer service was very rude and disrespectful i didn’t get a name unfortunately but please do better with your staff!

Took the time out of my day to leave a positive product review that was super detailed, and they wouldn't publish it because I mentioned a competitor. I was literally talking about how the thing I got from the competitor was trash in comparison. So here you go, enjoy the negative review Canadian Tire. Basically all your product reviews on your website are from promotions and you won't let a genuine one on the platform because I mention the big A, oh the horror! What a waste of my time trying to be nice.

Would give a zero if possible. Canadian Tire today in no shape ir form represents the store I grew up with as a child. Poor service, expensive and I feel like customers are treated like common street criminals. I only go when I absolutely need to.

Horrible experience at the Canadian Tire Auto Centre in Vancouver BC. It started with them advising that they couldn’t repair a tire, then that they couldn’t just replace the one but had to replace the whole set (+$1,000 to original quote), and if all that wasn’t enough when I went to pick up my car my trunk latch was malfunctioning. I went back a week later and was told they didn’t access the tire lock from the trunk but rather went in through folding the back seats down (which would have been impossible with the trunk cover and dog hammock in the backseat). Essentially it was their word against mine and that was that. HORRIBLE customer service and experience, not willing to look at it or acknowledge any involvement in damaging my car. Will not be getting any service here again ever.

Went to Canadian tire for a new battery put in, then couldn't open the hood of my car once I returned home. I went back the next day to get it fixed and spoke to a man named Jason from the Cochrane Canadian tire, and he needs a raise of a life time. He apologized and fixed it, even recommending epoxy to fix something in related and gave it to me for free. Get more Jason's working and give the man his very much deserved raise.

I booked a brake rotor and pad replacement appt with the Langford, BC Canadian Tire store. When I spoke with the staff I was told approximately $250.00. I brought the car in I was told it needed a brake inspection ($110.00). I told the service person that the brakes were already inspected by the dealership and all I required was the replacement of my rotors and pads (front and rear). They said it was their policy for safety??? So here's the kicker if you decide not to have them do the original work they charge you the $110.00 inspection fee, if you get the work done then they wave the inspection fee. Also the quote that was given to me after my car was in the shop was over $700.00. So I could leave out $110.00 for absolutely nothing or take the hit of a quote that was almost 3x the original quote to save the $110.00!!! Great scam you got going there Canadian Tire Langford. Needless to say this will be my last appointment with your service center!!! ***On a better note the technicians were great to deal with.***

We went to Canadian Tire Selkirk MB location to purchase a BBQ. We went after work and arrived about 6:45pm, we traveled from our rural home soely for this item, online showed 5 in stock. When we asked the sales associate in that area to help us find the item in the box she told us "It was at their off site location and no one was there to get it for us, we would have to come back tomorrow. The store is open till 9pm, I feel they should not say they have the item in stock is you can not buy it at times the store is open or they should at least have one in store. Very disappointed and will be buying a BBQ at a different store.

Stopped by to grab some stuff for the car and ended up walking around for a solid 20 minutes because the layout is just chaos. Eventually found someone to help me and she pointed me right to what I needed, so that saved it.Prices are decent, had a couple things on sale that I wasn't expecting. Paid with my Triangle card so got some points back too.Nothing special but it's Canadian Tire, you kind of know what you're getting. Does the job.

Needed to have tires checked for air pressure, they told me to park at the door. I waited 30 minutes nobody came out. I called and they said they would send someone out. Still waiting almost 1 hour now.

Can’t find anything it shows online always lies and never shows f**king stock anytime

I’ve never experienced customer service this unprofessional. I went in to buy a fishing rod that was clearly marked on sale, along with three spools of fishing line. None of the prices matched the shelf tags — the rod didn’t ring up at the sale price, and every spool of line was higher than the posted shelf price. When I pointed this out, staff argued with me and refused to let me purchase the fishing line at the displayed sticker price, telling me I had to pay the higher computer price or I couldn’t have it at all. Only after another employee stepped in did they finally admit they had to honor the sticker on the rod.

Head office later confirmed I was right and told me to return to get the proper pricing. When I came back, the attitude from staff was rude from the moment I walked in. During the transaction, the cashier failed to give me my change, then insisted she had. She made me empty my pockets in front of other customers to “prove” it — completely humiliating and totally unnecessary. I was honest from the start, yet I was treated like I was doing something wrong while they were the ones not honoring their own posted prices.

For anyone shopping at the Bancroft Canadian Tire, check every single price before you leave the store. This location clearly does not keep shelf prices updated. And remember: under SCOP (Scanning Code of Practice), if an item scans higher than the shelf price, they are required to give you $10 off the listed price.

Unable to submit product reviews. They always come up with some feeble excuse why it can not be submitted.
No customer service and no customer satisfaction guarantee at all. I bought a set of cordless headphones that were really unsatisfactory and did not work as expected.I could not return them since they did work for a few minutes after I charged them up. I have found several employees that were very curt and sometimes downright rude. I am 72 years old and have been shopping Canadian Tire all my life and can honestly say they are the very last place I go when I need sometihing.

Port Hawkesbury Canadiantire poor brake service
I went to Canadian tire service in Port Hawkesbury NS. Reason: Install new Rotors,Pads and wear sensors and reset wear sensor indicator. 1st visit was to assess parts required and ability to do sensor reset. fee $70. Estimated time to do the installation estimated @ 1-1.5hr. Went to my appt to install today for 10:am and waited 4hrs in their waiting room. Reason given was a Technician had loaned the scanner to someone and were waiting for it to be returned! AND they charged me for just short of 3 hours labour for a 1 hr job. I will never go back to Canadian Tire Auto service again. Poor service and no compassion.

I searched for an exterior door handle, then I got door handles for houses and cars, so refined my search exterior house door handle, and was presented with 9 dog crates. What is the point?

Went to Canadian Tire today after seeing Aged Oak Gel Stain on their website listed at $21.99. The word “From” was hidden in faint, fine print beside the price. When I got to the store, every can was $29.99 — no product was available at the advertised price.

I spoke with three managers (John, Cory, and Holly) who all confirmed the price was $29.99. As far as I’m concerned, this is misleading advertising — showing a product image and a price that doesn’t exist just to get people in the door.

I’ve submitted a complaint to Canadian Tire customer service and hope they fix this. Shoppers deserve clear, honest pricing.

Be warned. Don't buy anything from Canadian Tire that needs to be opened to be used. As soon as you open it, the item becomes non-refundable. If you decide you don't like it, they'll give you an exchange, otherwise, well... "that's our policy".

How are you supposed to know if you like something and it works for you without opening it and trying it. Maybe that was back in the day.

I pushed to get a store credit at least, and the manager made a call and they provided a store credit, but only because it was (2) days since I made the purchase.

So - remember, we're being held hostage to CT if we buy something from them and actually open it and try it.
