Terrible company to use they say no…
Terrible company to use they say no hidden fees lol what a joke had to pay 2065 before my stuff left my home cash or e-transfer only. One of the movers was smoking a joint on his break in the truck. Didn’t send the right truck had a 4 wheeler and snowmobile to load No lift or rams. Had to get some. Our belonging were transferred 4 times everything was squished scratched and some broken even lost a box. Our belongings were promised on 16th of July they sat in Edmonton 4 hours from us for 6 days. We had a tracker in our 4 wheeler. Our new leather sofa was torn they only used 3 blankets to cover furniture the rest was plastic and plastic wrap which was all torn from being handled so many times. This was July 2024

ALL CANADA MOVERS/PEGASUS VAN LINES
A complete nightmare!
The truck drivers were great- it is the organizer and office staff of Pegasus Van Lines who ALL CANADA MOVERS outsources to-this review is about.
I booked a move through an employee named Nicholas, who identified himself to me and said I had submitted an estimate for a move from Halifax to Montreal through All Canada Movers. Everything was great, at first.
We agreed on Thursday, Oct. 12 pick up of my daughter’s belongings in Dartmouth, NS and a delivery in Montreal on Friday, Oct. 20, between 9-11 AM. We would drive to Montreal on Thursday, Oct. 19 to be there for the early delivery on the next day.
On Friday, Oct. 6 I received a text from Nick asking if they could pick up her stuff on the weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) 6 DAYS EARLY! My daughter was living with me (1.5 hours from where her belongings were stored) and she also had a huge load of things at my home that needed to be packed up and moved to the storage unit in Dartmouth for the Oct.12 pick up date. We thought we had another week to do this.
I texted Nick and said that would not work as on Sunday there was a tropical storm coming and on Monday we had plans to spend Thanksgiving day with family in Springhill. He did not text me back. I then texted him again and asked him to call my daughter. Again, he did not respond or call her. Fast-forward to Sunday night, my daughter gets a call from a truck driver named David who says he will meet us at 10 AM Monday morning. He told her that Nick said, “we were ready”. This was not true and Nick continued to completely ignore our messages. We had no choice but to start packing my car at 9 PM and drive it to Dartmouth the next morning. My daughter had to start a new job.
Then… on the 18th of October Nick called me and asked if he could deliver the stuff early! We hadn’t left Nova Scotia yet and I told him there would be nobody there. He simply said okay and hung up, no explanation.
On Thursday, Oct. 19, we (myself, my daughter and a friend) drove to Montreal. On the delivery morning we were at the apartment to meet them between 9-11 which was the time quoted by Nick. When 11 o’clock came with still no sign of them I called the number we had on the invoice. I spoke with a woman who said our stuff would not be delivered until the following Wednesday- 5 days later!! She said they do not even deliver into Montreal on Fridays! We had several conversations with her, explaining that two of us had made the trip to help her get her apartment organized and paid for flights back to Nova Scotia and we would not be there to help by next Wednesday-she did not care. She then started screening our calls. Neither she or Nick would answer our calls. We used a friend’s phone and they she picked up immediately. This was now obvious they were screening our calls. We had to pay for 5 extra nights in a hotel plus meals and they refused to take any responsibility or reimburse us for our added costs. So much information was withheld when arranging with Nick.
The worst Company I have ever dealt with (except for the drivers) and I hope this helps others from having this happen!
Not a reliable company
Not a reliable company.
I paid for their services but their customer service is very poor and poor value for money. Not worth the money spent
BEWARE
BEWARE. Do not hire this company for your move. They are fraudulent and expect to be overcharged for many items never discussed during the estimate stage. Check them out with the BBB and all the legal action currently underway against these people. Do not consider these people no matter what they tell you. They are cons and definetely should not be allowed to operate.
I wish I had went with someone else....
The trouble started when we arrived at my storage space. I had told the mover that I had brought over some things presuming he would re-pack them as they are objects you would put on the top. His response was 'do you want to do it your way or the right way' or therabouts and that they had another job after and were rushed and did not have the time. I left him to do it his way. about 20 minutes later he informed me he could not put anything else in the (10X10) locker. He then asked me about my financial situation and asked if I wanted to sell some stuff for cash on the spot. He had my home bar and bedroom furniture all neatly lined up. I looked at my storage unit-the pre-packed items were in the same place and it looked like about 30% storage space left. I started throwing stuff out in the dumpster. Then, they moved all my stuff in the locker. Their truck was parked on the side when I left 20 minutes later (they said that they would just make it to their next job) and I suspect that they took the things (such as a bar fridge etc.) out of the dumpster as the heavy metal top was opened (I had not lifted it). When I moved my things out a couple of months later-I noticed that my dresser was damaged and my bed frame was in pieces (with pieces missing). I also was missing a step ladder and my brothers' wall sander. I went through another dresser last week and noticed that Ray Ban sunglasses my fiancee gave me as a birthday present were missing. I had filed a claim with the moving company. They tried to blame the movers who moved the stuff out of the storage unit. However, I had been warned by the movers to take pictures that proved it was in the storage place which I did. I have been ghosted by Integrity and received no response to future emails. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and received no response.
World Wide Moving/AMS Transporation is the worst
Our experience with World Wide Moving Solutions (also doing business as AMS Transportation Services Inc.) was unbelievably bad starting the day prior to the move, and the moment they began to package our household items and load the truck. The scheduled date to pack and load did not happen because the driver called the afternoon prior to the move that he and the crew were not coming due to being tried from a prior move and had a bad back. This forced the new buyers of our home to have to move their closing date by one day. We were charged a one-day mortgage interest fee due to the new owners having to move their closing date.
When the moving driver and crew did arrive, the driver had a bad attitude was rude and told us it was our fault for the delay because he show up a month prior to pack and load our household items. This was an error of World-Wide Moving Solutions because they forgot to process the change request date through their dispatch department that we submitted due to Covid-19 restrictions. At the time the driver told us he still required his crew to be paid for coming out, and then again when they come back a month later for the actual move.
When the crew did come back, I asked them how long the process of packing and loading would take he stated everything would be done in one day. It took the crew 2.5 days to pack and load the truck. We also learned that the original quote was based on 11,000 lbs, and the actual weight once loaded on the truck was at 21,000 lbs. The original quote was based on a visual quote having someone come out to the house and take pictures. World Wide Moving Solutions invoiced us for double the original quote. Note: We did not purchase any additional furniture. We did add some items to the move that where not part of the quote and did remove other items that were part of the original quote. The end result was we took more weight away from the original quote.
The moving crew got oil on the carpet which required us to hire a carpet cleaner, we had to paid a house cleaner 2.5 extra days because they took 3.5 extra days to move us, and as a parting gift they left trash on the front yard, and a large gas & oil spot on the driveway which required us to hire someone to clean.
There was a lack of communication from World Wide Moving Solutions on the time we should expect the crew to arrive and stay each day. We are planning to file a complaint with World Wide Moving Solutions / AMS Transportation Services, Inc. for the huge gap in what they quoted and the actual weight, and seek reimbursement for additional costs incurred, and any damages that may have occurred when our household goods arrive.
In the meantime, we are required to pay the invoice before they allow our household goods to be shipped to us. Do not hire and/or engage with this company. There is a lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism. As a customer we felt we were scammed based on the quote, and the actual weight. Then, extorted to pay the revised amount before they would ship our household items to its final destination.
We did finally get our belongings and filed a claim based on damages. AMS Transportation Service claim department has yet to respond to our damage claim. Their process state we will receive an acknowledgement of our claim, but we still have not received any notification. I have mail them the claim 3X and tried to call but the claims department does not have a phone and was told by AMS and World Wide Moving Solution to wait until they get back to me.

Alero Moving & Storage/TWo Amigos (NorthAmerican…
Alero Moving & Storage (NorthAmerican Van Lines) needs to go out of business. Their central corporate office as well as their Calgary office behavior confirm they really are a disgrace for the Canadian business community as well as the whole society based on the unethical, irresponsible, inconsiderate, unprofessional, misleading, inaccurate and misrepresented service they actually provide. They demanded 100% of the payment upfront.
For example, they do not give the opportunity to check the truck weight at load point then later rip you off with extremely high weight, as well as with abusive charges if you need to do a transfer load into the 53 footers. They portrayed they were members of the Canadian Association of Movers to attract clients, charging them in excess. They are NOT members, hence using that certification illegally to mislead clients. Their internal communication is extremely poor. They do not respect at all customer’s personal property, they unilaterally dispose of it without any authorization from the legal owner, and also handle belongings improperly and carelessly. This company is a real shame, that promotes, and supports (even cover up) unacceptable practices that is degrading Canadian societal standards (supported from the top management down). STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
I had a terrible experience and after 4 months they have not even paid the contractual amount.
Centennial Moving Company Scam Artists & Thieves
Centennial Moving Company scam artists and thieves. The billed weight was double my quote which was based on a detailed listing of items. They hold you and your items hostage until you pay up for excessive and unsubstantiated charges. They stole my three most valuable items valued at almost $1,000 and offered a paltry $60 in compensation. Avoid Centennial Movers they are a total rip off.
They are good in their services.
It could be better
Good Service

We moved from The Toronto area to Vancouver Island
We moved from The Toronto area to Vancouver island Oct. 2018. The day before our move we phoned to ask when the truck would arrive and waited. No one got back to us. Moving day we called again and no one got back to us so we called the original booking agent and she found out they had lost our order. They scrambled to find a truck and sent one from London Ontario. It finally arrived at 3pm to load our stuff. The crew worked hard and with Our great preparation was able to finish at 9pm. Needless to say it was very stressful as we had to be out and start driving west the next morning with our two dogs. We arrived in Nanaimo 7 days later and took possession of our house and waited for the truck to arrive within the contracted window. Well, we slept on the floor because delivery was 4 days late past the window. After paying for insurance to cover any damages and there was damages the crew chief told us if we made a claim it would come out of his pay. I cannot blame the crew or the booking agent because they did their best under difficult circumstances. But after head office screwed up the booking, the schedule and sold us useless insurance they should at least contact us. We filled out a "satisfaction survey" and waited nothing...then called the agent and she said someone would contact us ...nothing. So after spending over $16,000 we have been completely ignored.
Horrrrrrrrrrribleeeee
Horrrrrrrrrrribleeeee! Dishonest and unprofessional team. Received items over a month later with items broken
review about iceberg logistics
I applied on this site months ago, in september or october for a moved date in Nov of 2012. The majority of monving quotes i got feed back on came end of march, beginning of April 2013 long after i had already moved to my current location??? I ended up browsing the phone book for a moving company i had heard alot about in the past and was not happy with the over all experience. It was a moved from Calgary AB to a remote area on the west coast of BC....Overall the idea of a site like this is good, but it just doesnt work. 2 small men with big hearts in my experience not reliable, very clumsy, did not live up to expectations promised, I had been physically disabled they promised this help with packing n stuff, my old place was left a complete mess...would NOT recommend.....
Moved houses and were great!
Accommodating to all my needs; was able to haggle prices a bit; offered all I needed. Will definitely use them again!
Stress free move with canada-movers.ca
Using this website certainly saved me time and effort.
Had useful information of services offered by the responding companies. Good to see the price differentials. When asked to lower their prices to be competitive they were very accomodating
Excellent
I've got more than 20 offers. now I have time to choose the best one.
Thank you.
