By far my worst Ebay experience ever

By far my worst Ebay experience ever. Possibly my first ever negative feedback given in over 20 years on Ebay. For context, I ordered the wrong part and I tried to cancel the order before it shipped. This was the very same day I ordered it. The seller emailed and told me it may be too late to cancel. I got an email saying it shipped the next day. I called their customer service and the very nice lady told me to just accept the order and call back to get a return label. I told her it was my mistake and I would gladly pay return shipping. She said no, it was an Ebay sale, they would pay return shipping. I asked if I needed to do anything else and she said no, it was just that simple. I called back 30 minutes after I received the order. I told her the box was pretty torn up from shipping, but the product appeared to be undamaged, and that I didn't remove it from the box. I spent approx 20 minutes explaining why the part wouldn't work. They wanted camper make, model, year, and pictures of my camper where the lid was supposed to fit. I explained I had already patched the hole to prevent rain from entering. She said I needed to remove the patch and "pretend" I was trying to install it and take pictures. I said, "What". She repeated the instructions. I told her I was disabled and would have to take it to the repair place and pay them to remove the patch and pretend to install! That is ridiculous. I said if I did it, it would take me two plus hours and I can't do it. She said I wouldn't get my refund without the pictures. I told her it would cost me more to have the "fake install" completed than the cost of the item. I repeated her remarks back to her to verify multiple times and had her repeat the crazy instructions just to be sure I understood her correctly. Now of course this was the short version. This went on for about 20 minutes before I finally told her how horrible the company was and the hoops they wanted me to jump through were just plain stupid. I feel they intentionally want customers to give up as I did and keep the item, as I will. It just isn't worth it. Of course I will never buy from them or any of their sub-companies again. I personally have never received a negative or neutral feedback and consider myself 100% honest. This company has tested me and I feel they questioned my honesty and integrity. They on the other hand, I feel are extremely dishonest and could care less about their customer after they get their money.

In a predicament as I was turning in a…

In a predicament as I was turning in a TT to a rv dealer in a few days. On a Friday before the Tuesday of turning it in for cash sale, the refrigerator door handle broke. I contacted this company and they absolutely assured me that I would have the part overnight or at the latest, the coming Monday. Said I would receive three emails with regard to the order. RECEIVED ONE ONLY over 3 days. Could not track shipping.
They did not ship like they promised. They contacted their supplier and left it up to them to ship in manner needed to get my part to me in time. Supplier had no idea what I was told about receiving it in time frame I needed.
Emailed me showing order processed July 25 at 1pm. I called multiple times and after 4th time calling and waiting for 45 minutes to talk to someone… dot on forehead I believe, I was told “sorry your order didn’t go the way the person(an earlier dot on forehead)that took your order said it would go. There is nothing I can do about it. Wait for part to arrive and then you can return it PAYING FOR RETURN SHIPPING.
This company should not be trusted. Seriously, shop elsewhere!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I placed an order and within 10 minutes, joined a customer service chat to cancel the order. The agent insured me that she would cancel it and I would be refunded the full amount. They processed the order anyway and wanted me to pay for shipping the product back, even though the agent should have cancelled it after insuring me that it would be cancelled. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend ordering from them.

The product was perfect

The product was perfect! My husband looked all over for the perfect fridge vent hood and this one works fabulously! It also arrived on time. Very pleased with this purchase.

I would give a more negative star…

I would give a more negative star rating than one star, if that was an option. We incorrectly received an RV fridge due to a warehouse and website error. This has been an amazingly awful struggle to try to get a refund. We gave up on a replacement. It has been well over a month and no help, whatsoever. We are out $1500! Do not use this company for anything. Worst customer service ever.

They had the part I needed and the…

They had the part I needed and the ability to ship it to me quickly. Will definitely check with them first for all my other needs.
It turned out to be a rare part that was hard to come by so I am very thankful to them for hooking me up. Go CamperID!, you rock!

Terrible customer service and support. Terrible return policy.

They do not maintain an inventory. They misrepresent the drop ship dates from their manufacturer 'partners'. They cannot get timely order status on late orders. A cancelled order is only a 'request' from their perspective. They then ship cancelled order and will charge you for return shipping due to their poor policies and infrastructure. They have a terrible customer ecommerce model.

TERRIBLE ON RETURNS & SHIPPING

I ordered a very small switch for my RV water heater as instructed by an RV service person. I was charged $13.22 shipping plus the cost of the part - not fast shipping and for something that weighs a few ounces. I then paid another service person to come install the part. The service person contacted me saying the switch would not work even though it was specified to work for the specific water heater. I contacted the chat service for Camperid and asked for a return and was told they would charge me almost $13 shipping again and it would be deducted from my refund because I wouldn't repeat the process and take photos or videos of the part not working. This would require me to hire the service person to come a third time regarding this one part. This is the first time I have ever used Camperid. Hopefully, you will read the negative reviews better than I did.

Not going to rant. Just want all to know that camper ID uses false/deceptive advertising on inventory availability. Call to check availability. Do not rely on website listing. Even the phone call answer might be a lie so dig deep 😉. Never again for me. But each to their own. Hope this helps the company find honesty.

My first experience was GREAT

I recently ordered a Carbon Monoxide detector replacement for our motorhome and without any special order status, it arrived ahead of the schedule provided when I ordered. It was well packed and arrived undamaged and ready to use. This is my first time to order from CAMPERiD. I will use them again and highly recommend that you and others find the same excellent order service that I did.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I placed an order and they ship it with a carrier with no tracking info. I called them to locate my package and they currently couldn't locate it. I ask to cancel my order and I was told I couldn't cancel it once it has been shipped. Great customer service!

Found an RV water pump being sold by…

Found an RV water pump being sold by CamperID.com and it clearly indicated NO TAX in the description but when I went to check out, the tax was added. I contacted CamperID and advised them of the issue. They refused to honor the NO TAX promotion and stated all sales are taxable. Clearly a bate and switch tactic.

Dont spend your hard earned money at CamperID

1 star is to much

1 star is to much, this place is horrible to deal with!! I am a mobile RV tech and was in need of a blower motor my local warehouse was out of stock. I found the part at CamperID we called to confirm availability with Armonda he told me the supplier had 3 and we can have it next day for additional $25. we placed the next day air order and never received it!!! We called in to ask where it was and the tracking number... and guess what no tracking number was issued for the part because there was none available till the following week.. I told them just forget it refund my money...What a Sh** show this was.. they will not just refund the money it can take up to 5 days they need to wait for confirmation from there supplier that it was canceled.. So apparently this company DOES NOT STOCK PARTS there are a 3rd party company playing middle man!! BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Delays, delays, and more delays

While camping my daughter saw a cute camping dish set that she really wanted. I decided to order it for her for Christmas. I placed my order on October 1st and kind of forgot about it once I got a tracking email. In mid-November, the item still hadn't arrived. I emailed customer service and was told something happened to the item in transit. Not their fault at all. The customer service rep offered to cancel/refund that order and place the order again. She assured me the order would go out in 5-7 days. That worked with my timeline so I went ahead with it.

Fast forward to end of November/beginning of December and the item still hasn't arrived or been shipped. I reached out multiple times and was told it would ship on December 7th and was given a gift card for $15. Annoying...but still o.k. for my timeline. On December 7th, 8th, and 9th I contacted the company because I still hadn't received tracking info. I was assured it still showed that it was shipping on the 7th and it could take a couple days to get the tracking info. At this time I requested that I be refunded for the $12 shipping, which was denied.

On December 10th, I reached out again and was told the item would ship on December 17th!!! So at this point it's not going to arrive before we leave for the holidays. I called (which I should have done to begin with) and was then informed the item was out of stock and they order it from a manufacturer and December 17th would indeed be the earliest it could ship. Again...I ordered this October 1st and paid $12 for the shipping. At no time was I told it wasn't in stock, it was coming from another manufacturer, that the shipping time was a wild guess, etc.

Needless to say I cancelled my order and am awaiting a refund. I have since ordered the item from Amazon (which I was trying to avoid) and it is due to arrive tomorrow.
