A1 SERVICE

I've been with Camnet for many years and can always rely on their quick technical support and outstanding customer service.
I recently took advantage of a fantastic two-for-one special on a new and a refurbished copier for a new site.

Avoid this company

This company will do whatever it takes to turn a buck. On the good side, this includes providing a genuine service. On the bad side, it includes underhand practices: raising prices beyond those agreed, forging signatures (according to others I have met), and employing a legal team who have become well versed in how to use the system to protect Camnet's position. DON'T think (as we did) just to work with and help them, e.g. keep paying while explaining that they have breached the terms. DO instead go straight to the authorities else you may find, as we did, that we had left things too long. Better still, do not get involved with disreputable companies such as this in the first place.

Do not sign a contract with this company

Do not sign a contract with this Company, they are dishonest, disrespectful and aggressive. We apologise for using an alias, but they are very intimidating and use bullying tactics and threatening legal claims when they dont get their way.

Has anyone dealt with Camnet Finance?

This is what happened to us. Camnet Finance transferred a printer to our company on a 48 month contract. Six months later Camnet doubled the price. Six months after that our company negotiated a reduction in print copies and the negotiations were successful, but while Camnet reduced the number of copies, they only reduced the price of the contract by $20 odd dollars a month. This kept the price at double the original agreement even though we could not and did not use the number of copies they suggested we could. Oh and they also extended the length of the contract twice until it blew out to 5 years. We stopped paying after 48 months and a cost of $54,920. They took back their printers. Camnet pursued us in court and they won. We had to pay out an additional $27,500 in contract terms and $41,000 odd of their legal costs. Total? In excess of $123,420... All this for two printers. Leasing printers is not something we would entertain again.
