I had an amazing experience with Camino Ways! Everything was perfectly organized, from the hotel accommodations to the luggage transfers, making my Camino de Santiago journey smooth and stress-free.
As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was especially impressed that I was able to enjoy gluten-free breakfast and dinner at every hotel throughout my journey. This made such a difference and allowed me to focus on enjoying the Camino without worrying about my meals.
The accommodations were wonderful, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Walking the Camino de Santiago was truly unforgettable, and Camino Ways helped make this journey even more special.

Very organized. 2 hotels I would not recommend to stay because the food and lodging was not good. The rest of arrangement was excellent. The response was quick during the walk.

Our travel partners’ luggage was stolen from one of the hotels. We reported it to the local police and forwarded a copy to CaminoWay.Com. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that CaminoWay.Com never reached out to us with a call to inquire if we needed any assistance. We found their response unprofessional and lacking in communication. We would not recommend.

We've been in touch with the hotel throughout, and they confirmed the case is with their insurance. We've now written to them again to ask for a timeline and we'll come back to you directly as soon as we have an answer.
We're sorry the support you had from us didn't feel like enough while it was happening. We've gone through the case with our team and we're changing how we follow up when something like this occurs, so nobody is left waiting for news.

From the very beginning, during research, registration, and payment portions of booking this trip, your staff was beyond helpful. They were kind and understanding. I had even tried calling one morning and did not leave a message. Someone saw that I called and called me back! I'm not sure how large of a company Camino Ways is, but when you are across the world making travel arrangements, it really brings a sense of comfort to work with a company that makes this process so personal. During the walk, I never worried about the safety of my luggage or whether it would make it to my next hotel. The hotels that were booked for our group had friendly & helpful staff, breakfasts were good, rooms were comfortable, locations were safe and easy to get to. I would book with Camino Ways again!

So grateful for two amazing Caminos! (France 2023 and coastal Portugal 2026) Everything… outside of walking… was perfectly taken care of! The hotel and staff were so understanding of us coming in after a long day! knowing you have a wonderful place to stay that night is reassuring (also kept us focus on our daily goal to stay on time!) the luggage transfer was amazing! The bit about arriving after a long day is so true. Knowing there's a proper bed and someone friendly waiting at the end of it changes how the whole day feels, and it's why we're fussy about the places we work with.

Best Foot Forward
The booking process with Camino Ways was a straightforward process. The quality and comfort of the accommodation was excellent from the first night's stay to the last. The luggage transfers were smooth and well-organised. There was a lovely mix of rural and town accommodation locations.
However, on one occasion the customer service at our accommodation was less than first class. In Hotel Rural Latorrien de Ane the food hygiene was questionable, hair was found in the cooked food and there was no concession given when this was pointed out. At this location, too, there was inadequate provision for an early breakfast and early transport to commence the next stage of the Camino. Indeed, a member of our party experienced rudeness.
Overall, a great travelling experience on these first stages of the Camino Francés.

Exceptional Service and Memorable Experience
CaminoWays was upfront about the walking distances between destinations, which helped us plan and set realistic expectations. Every hotel and stop they arranged was absolutely stunning—I truly fell in love with each one. Great communication and arrangement
My itinerary was a little trick and complicated but CaminoWays got all arrangement correctly and fast. I had quote from another popular Camino trip planning company that was known to be cheaper but CaminoWays ended up being cheaper. In addition, there was one night on Camino Norte that the other company couldn't find me a place to stay due to the full sun eclipse, but CaminoWays booked me one without any problem. I highly recommend CaminoWays especially for the first timer.

Camino Ways and specifically Pablo did…
Camino Ways and specifically Pablo did an excellent job securing superior level accommodations for our group of six women. It was so nice that breakfast and dinner were included with our accommodations. The food was good and fresh. We also had our bags transferred and that was a seamless process. I was very happy with Camino Ways and I would use this company again. Pablo responded to questions in a timely manner so service was good via email.

Thank you too for flagging the walking distances. You're right that they should match what's in your materials and when they don't it makes planning the day harder than it needs to be. We're reviewing the stage notes for that route, and if you're able to tell us which days felt off, we'd genuinely appreciate it. Feedback like yours is how the documentation gets better for the pilgrims who come after you.

Mainly all good but things to note
We did a section of the Portuguese way from Baiona to Santiago. All accommodation was a good stand bar the last accommodation in Almenda Rooms in Santiago .We choose not to stay there and notified Camino Ways via email . We received a response the next day with action from them directly to the property . They issued an ex gratis payment to us with an apology from the establishment and from Camino Ways. It was not of a standard it should have been, unclean and mouldy accommodation was like student/hostel accommodation. We had 3 dinners included , the menu is limited and quite basic . One hotel In Padron the food was not of a good standard and we could not eat it. Also the Hotel Rosalia only took card over purchase of €15.00 , they preferred usage of cash which we didn’t have - it was bit outside the town .
