Clever scam
I found them through a Facebook ad, sent them an introduction email and then found out they were just a paid for guaranteed streams service. That was a red flag to me so I said no thanks. Carla (President) followed up with a list of reasons why they're legit and though compelling, the service I thought was a bit pricey. But then I was contact by a Jonathan Watkins with an imdb signature, to say he was interested in signing a song that Carla sent him. We had to go back and forth before he eventually said that he would be interested once the song has had success on radio. I told him we're an unsigned act, and as such don't have radio pluggers working for us, and he said he thinks Carla is a radio plugger but he's unsure of her fees. At that point I asked if he would be interested in how well we do on Spotify streaming and at that point he just got blunt and rude. So yeah, scam, scam, scam. Very clever working in conjunction there. Clever scam, but still a scam.
