From the moment The Calor rep Anna (Kildare) came out to meet me to the moment of install of the tank and base she couldn’t have been more helpful. I want to say thank you for all the guidance and help and will be onto you shortly to do the same in my parents home also. I also want to say thank you to Lorraine in the office who answered the numerous queries I had and helped throughout the whole process.

The customer service is outstanding. In particular, I found Emily very supportive she explained everything about renewing g the contract. She took her time asked if I understood and if there was anything else I needed. I would highly recommend this company. A lot of companies are lacking the personnel touch, thank you

Shockingly poor customer service from Calor Gas. Was signed up with Calor in June 25, supposed to have it installed by 1st Sept, had to chase endlessly to get boiler and tank delivered. Ended up going to collect boiler myself as I couldn’t get them to confirm a delivery date. Due to endless disorganisation and delays, my tank and boiler installation couldn’t get done before Xmas. It’s still not installed as installer is fully booked until feb.
I got a bill on NYE for the tank of gas-no customer service welcome or ‘thanks for joining’. Until this bill, I didn’t even know my account number. When I called to raise serious concerns at how poorly things were carried out, a promise was made for someone to call me back. Haven’t heard anything in a week. This company promises everything and delivers nothing. No wonder Ireland prefers to stick with traditional fuel sources.

We are basically stuck at them, because 25 years ago developer signed "contract" with calor gas...
2 weeks ago they send another price increase, but they are already THE MOST EXPENSIVE COMPANY.
Nobody on the estate can switch provider, they having monopoly here.
Disgrace
Paid for a delivery 2 weeks ago. Still no delivery. Wouldn't recommend. Biggest mistake I made switching from oil. You have no other option but to order from them. No other supplier. Terrible service.
HAVE BEEN A CALOR RETAILER AND ALSO A CUSTOMER FOR 40 YEARS . ORDERED NEW BOILER FOR MY 79 YR OLD MOTHER IT TOOK NEARLY 3 MONTHS TO COME WITH IT ONLY HEATING ONE ROOM ALL OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD AND NOW CANNOT GET THE INSTALLER THEY RECONMENDED TO CALL ME BACK TO INSTALL IT! WANT THE WHOLE THING REMOVED ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE .

For several years we have had deliveries at or around the 25% fill level.
Despite a note on our system to notify us of a delivery with 24hr notice, we've more recently not had this notice. The driver was able to advise us as its an automatic trigger no call will be received.
Roll forwards, or current gas full level was 18% on Monday, with 15l usage (yes because we were using electrical shower as we had no advice of delivery).
And still no notice of delivery.
Whilst 18% may seem like a reasonable amount, when you've been 'trained' to expect a delivery at 25% what has changed, and why can a delivery date not be scheduled.
The office also seems to have changed as each call (there have been 3 so far), has been answered by a different person.

Have prepay gas in our house. Ordered replacement card over year ago. Any time call up say there card machine is still broken. They have no online topup service have to call each time and takes ages between not getting through at all or been but through. Can't also switch provider as it's there tanks in area and not natural flow
Bought a Kingavon gas heater a little over a year ago( not fromCalor)
Unit is immaculate but stopped working. No luck with ANY service or repair service

Bought a Calor Gas Heater in October and the pilot light stopped working. Calor Gas suggested I take it outside and roll it around and advised if they repair it that I may have to pay for the shipping costs myself. Very poor quality heater and also very poor customer service and not consistent within Consumer Protection Legislation. Beware Buyers! Thanks for your reply but as I mentioned in my emails I wouldn’t of bought the heater if it had been made clear that it was so high maintenance and we had a Provence for 5 years before we bought the heater in question, it never once had the problem you described. One of the replies by email was to advise one of my friends or family to fix the issue “ if I have any “ ! Wow is all . I have replaced the heater coz tbh as a one parent family with 2 adults with additional care needs we don’t have time or energy for this and we need a warm home . Out of pocket and very disappointed with Calor Gas

Very happy with the service and the support. Recently we had to get the gas tank moved and Derek and Martin got it sorted very efficiently. Very helpful, supportive and understanding. We are delighted with Calor gas. I wish every company would be as supportive as them.
Calor gas is clean source of heating and convenience of auto refill however there one draw back getting the boiler serviced. The technician that did retired and anyone I've phoned is not interested one guy did cone to the house but refused to service as it is in an awkward spot in the utility room. It was installed by a calor contractor the guy now retired. Calor is aware of issue with the servicing but has a hands off approach they just post a leaflet of the importance of regular servicing by a qualified technician..
I bought a bottle gas heater last week.
When I received it the envelope that holds the voucher and the invoice was empty. The envelope was open.
Obviously somebody opened it and took the contents between when it left calor gas and it got to me.
I got on to customer service and I was told the voucher would be replaced.
That was over a week ago and I have not received anything.
It's not my fault it disappeared along the way.
Especially when I was told it would be replaced and it wasnt.
Very bad service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Recently moved into a new apartment and signed up with Calor. Nothing but regrets.
Signed up to mycalor online and set up direct debit. Thought everything was sorted. No new communication until I get a letter on a Friday afternoon before a bank holiday saying they want me to pay an exorbitant deposit or they'll cut my supply on the Tuesday. No info why or how. Most companies waive the deposit if you setup direct debit.
The company is stuck in the 1980s and have no options to control anything online and don't send anything by email. Would happily recommend any other company

This review only reflects the sloppiness of the guy who filled the gas tank and the customer service department.
Side gate was left open, after the fill. A gate that was firmly closed before should be closed afterwards. It isn't hard to do! Both dogs escaped, one was only found an hour later. After ringing the company I was promised a call back, which never happened. Sloppy!!!!!

I bought a bought a cadac bbq and pizza stone in March. All delivered and items perfect. Had family over and one of them liked the pizza stone. I bought him one as a gift. It came on a Tuesday and I gave it to him on a Sunday. He opened it and the stone was cracked. I contacted calor Monday morning and they said there's nothing they could do. It had to be reported within 24hrs. I asked him would he unbox a gift and try to rebox it before he gave it and he said yes he would. He said its on the terms and conditions if I checked it. As it turns out if I did notice it damaged I would have had to pay the return myself anyway. Needless to say I won't order from them again and just wanted to let people know what they are up against if they do find any issues with their orders.
I have since received a replacement pizza stone from Calor. Thanks for the replacement

I've never had a delay or a failed delivery. The drivers are lovely and cheerful and great for the crack. Excellent service.
Same complaint, they are not delivering when I request a fill up. They seem to have gone to pieces in the past year. Once you have a Calor tank, you are their prisoner as they operate a monopoly for fill-ups. Pricing also seems to be unregulated, despite their monopoly status.
If you have a choice, do not choose Calor. As heat pumps are still very expensive to instal for existing houses, I'll go for oil when I have to replace the boiler... at least there are lots of suppliers who compete (a bit) on price and service.
