Flawlessly organised adventure on Mount Toubkal
I had an excellent trip to Morocco to trek up Mount Toubkal. Everything was flawlessly organised by the Call to Adventure team from a online call after I booked the trip to brief me on the adventure to the excellent communication with the local guide team. My trek guide Omar was excellent, he made sure I was safe on the mountain but also that I enjoyed every step of the hike. I highly recommend this trip and company!
I would highly recommend this company

George and the team were always available to answer any questions leading up to the trip and the actual trip was fantastic, it was personalised experience with a team of individuals from the guides to the porters who were all very approachable and did everything possible to make our experience memorable.

Exceptional company
George arranged our trip to Morocco and everything was perfect. He spent the time coming up with great ideas to make this an amazing experience.
Every detail was planned including pick-up , collections, quality of guides and accommodation.
We went trekking in the Atlas mountains, quid bikes, camel riding and hot air ballon’s .
If you want to arrive and everything is sorted use this company.
I have travelled to over 100 countries and these were one of the best I have ever used.
Now planning my next trip with these guys.
Call to Adventure, Mount Toubkal winter trek, perfect from start to end.
I booked the Mount Toubkal winter trek at very short notice. I loved it from start to finish. Everything went to plan. George arranged everything from collecting and returning me to Marrakech airport. I went directly from the airport to Islmil which was a bonus and allowed me a free day in the lovely peaceful Berber prior to the trek commencing. All the accomodation was booked and organised and all food was included. It was a stress free trip, I just had to turn up. Special thanks to my guide Mohamed who ensured I got to the summit and back safely and made sure I had lovely and substantial meals throughout. I am over 60years old and it was his patience and support and local knowledge that made the trek outstanding. I would also like to mention Karima the local rep who met me on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Everything went to plan and it was a stress free trip for me as a solo older woman. I will be booking with Call to Adventure again and would recommend this company without hesitation.

Booked a trip to climb MountToubkal
Booked a trip to climb MountToubkal. Through call to adventure. Got a phone call to to inform us about the trip. Everything was planned perfectly They picked us up at the airport & took us back after our trip. Plus accommodation for the whole trip The guide was excellent & took care of me being the eldest in our group and the cook that went ahead & made authentic Moroccan food which was delicious and the Riad they had booked after our hike was a great reward after the hike. When I decide on my next adventure, will look at their trips first. Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience. Everything was well organised, leaving us to concentrate on the challenge itself. Our guide Lehcan was such a freindly, jolly chap and he really looked after us. Karima was lovely too, and made us feel so welcome. It was a memorable experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you to all who played a part in such a great time.

You’re in safe hands!
Myself and 39 colleagues from work completed the National Three Peaks Challenge under their guidance. It was well organised and as there were so many of us we were divided into groups of 10 of similar ability.
Our guide Susie was amazing. She really understood the varying abilities of all the group and made sure the pace was one everyone was comfortable with. When members of my group were flagging a bit she was right there beside them at the back ensuring they were well looked after, while more experienced hikers like myself could range a little further ahead. She knew every peak really well and thoroughly described terrain and ascent of each section as we approached so we knew what to expect. Whether under the guidance of the guides or behind driven between each park we all felt in safe hands. I hope to be undertaking more adventures with them.

3 day trek to summit Toubkal.
My decision to climb Toubkal was made easy when I contacted Call to Adventure, from my first email I felt in good hands, George booked extra days before and after my 3 day trek to accommodate my flights. As promised my driver collected me from Marrakesh airport and dropped me off at my Hotel, a day later I was collected by another driver to take me to the Gîte to spend the night before starting the trek to climb Toubkal the next morning. Omar our guide introduced himself and explained that plans for the day, including entry into the National park, and our lunch stop, our extra kit was taken by mule up to the refuge, where we arrived later that day. Omar located our rooms and explained dinner plans and breakfast too as we had a 4am push for the summit to see the sun rising. We summited and watched the sunrise, Omar taking pictures and then headed back down stopping for lunch on the way to Imlil where we were met with a refreshing drink before my drive back to Marrakesh. From start to finish Call to Adventure made my whole experience amazing. I’m already looking forward to booking with them again. Thanks !

Throughout the whole process the, George and the team were very efficient at keeping me up to date with the hike schedule, and answered any questions very swiftly.
Lastly a massive thank you to our guide Rachid, who was very patient, very knowledgeable, and adapted the hike to our pace. Highly recommended company for your next adventure.

4 day Mt Toubkal hike
A great experience. I would highly recommend this opportunity to hike Mt Toubkal 4167m. Call to Adventure kept me informed and communicated every detail. They were very professional as was the local guide ( Rashid ) who was from Imlil and had a huge knowledge of the Altas mountains, culture and history.

Toubkal Adventure (4 days)
I had such a great time with Call to Adventure on the Mount Toubkal Trek (4 days) – it honestly exceeded my expectations. Everything was spot on, from the transfers and accommodation to the food and the trek itself. The guide was brilliant, and all the staff I met along the way were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s rated as “moderate,” but I found it pretty tough – and I’m quite fit! Still, I loved the challenge and even the fatigue, and the views at the top made every step 100% worth it. Such an authentic and unforgettable adventure – I’d happily do it again!

Five day trek, including summit of Mt. Toubkal
We undertook a five day trek organised through Call to Adventure in August 2025. This meant that C to A created a bespoke trip for us, augmenting their usual three day trek. George and Jamal could not have been more helpful.
We're a family of four with two 'boys' aged 20 and 23. They're fit. The older adults are in their early 50s. We like to think we're fit but we found the walking challenging. And we'd trained for it.
Overall, the trek was brilliant, we all really enjoyed it. The scenery is simply beautiful. The people we encountered on the way were lovely - August is low season, so for the first few days we barely encountered a tourist. We left with a real sense of achievement.
Our guide, Omar, was superb. A delightful, kind, patient man. The older members of the party had a 'gritty' first day...we simply didn't appreciate the length of the walk which, combined with the altitude, terrain and mainly walking uphill, meant we ended up in a car for the last mile or so. Omar adjusted the route a little for the next day and coached us through it; the next three days were shorter but no less spectacular and got us ready for the business end of the trek. Day four is a long, gradual ascent from Imlil to the Refuge (3200m) at the foot of Mt Toubkal. Thanks to Omar's tuition. it felt relatively easy. We were helped, perhaps, by the fact it was one of the most beautiful walks I've done.
Day 5 was the ascent of Toubkal (4167m). We wanted to see sunrise, so the older members of the party left the Refuge at 2.30am (headtorches are a must), the younger ones an hour later (they overtook us, of course). We all made it in plenty of time, despite the snow / hail on the ground courtesy of the most spectacular thunderstorm a few hours before we set off. The view is more than worth the effort.
Coming down is technical - no poles and you're a fool - and you need decent boots / trekking shoes. Looking back up at the summit intermittently, we were rather glad we'd done the ascent in the dark!
After a pitstop at the refuge for lunch and to pack, we retraced our steps from Day 4 back to Imlil - it's a long last day but you're buzzing from the adrenaline of making it to the top....at least I was!
Accommodation: The lodges / gites were all fine, nights two and three being particularly nice. Night one and the Refuge were basic but the beds were comfortable. All had showers and clean washing facilities with the ability to buy provisions for the next day.
Food: we had the two Mohammads who cooked and portered for us (with our two mules - Delboy and Trigger - our names for them, obvs!). I don't know how they did it but we were so well fed with really healthy, tasty, mountain food: soups, salads, plenty of carbs, tagines, porridge and breads / pancakes for breakfast; lots of fruit; plenty of tea. Our boys eat a lot and never once complained about being hungry....quite the opposite. Of course, altitude does that to your appetite.
What to know: 1. We'd done the Inca trail in 2023 and thought this was going to be easy by comparison: from the perspective of the older members of the party, that was completely wrong. The Inca trail is tourism, this is proper trekking. A good base level of fitness is essential. 2. The longer, five day trek really helped us to acclimatise, but four days would be optimal. I'm not sure I'd have been ready in less than that. 3. Take trousers and gloves for the ascent of Toubkal: it's cold...even in August. We went from snow at the summit to 45 degrees in Marrakesh in the space of 12 hours. 4. And if you can get Omar and the two Mohammeds to look after you, you've got the dream team!!
Thanks to C to A for a brilliant trip. We'd highly recommend it.

Toubkal Trip
The process was simple from start to finish. From the moment of booking, the only things we had to consider were flights, gear and the mountain - the rest of it was all sorted. The Riads we stayed in were all of high quality, the food was fresh and authentic, and everyone we met was an absolute pleasure. Great experience, would happily do it again (after a breather) - and will likely book something else with Call to Adventure again!

A seamless booking process and wonderful customer service!
A seamless booking process, I had to contact customer service as I could no longer attached the original date and they were absolutely brilliant with supporting me and ensuring I could transfer to a new date - two years later - and honoured my deposit as it was a exceptional personal issue and I am now pleased to be booked for 2026! Upon making the new booking, you were invited to have a call with George who came across very friendly and talked through my booking to ensure I had booked everything I needed and offered time to cover any questions I may have; not something I have experienced before and feel puts this company above the rest. I am looking forward to my event knowing that I will be supported throughout! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Easy and friendly to communicate with. Great organisation and all went to plan. Guest House and RIAD comfortable and clean. Food good however portions small especially considering the activity. Very friendly and pleasant team both in UK and in country.
Sadly I suffered from altitude sickness and didn’t manage to summit. What stood out and was absolutely exceptional and way over and above was the care given to me by my guide, Omar. Omar was honestly one of the most selfless, most caring, most patient and most genuine people I have ever had the privilege to meet. Huge thank you Omar, I owe you a lot and appreciate that journey back down the mountain was probably nearly as bad for you as it was for me yet you didn’t complain once.

Highly recommend this company
Would highly recommend this company and the Mount Toukbal trek. Great value for money the booking process and response to any queries have been spot on.
Omar our guide was fabulous it took him all of 2 minutes to work out my husbands sense of humor ad they got on like brothers from another mother! He told us all about the region and places we passed and everyone knew him!!
We summitted for sunrise and before it got too busy or hot and was back down and in Marrakesh for 4pm.
The drivers where both great with our transfers nice comfy air conditioned vehicles and pleasant safe drivers.
Would highly recommend!!
