The bikes look great, but the app doesn't work
The bikes look great, and the prices seem attractive compared to Lime or other similar bike sharing schemes. However, the app appears essentially broken, and wouldn't allow me to register. It's a classic case of a potentially great product ruined by poor technology systems.
Update:
Since writing this review I was contacted by DB who explained that one needs a German mobile number to register. However, my rating remains 2* since this is not explained anywhere in the app or during the registration process. This means that visitors to Germany (like me) waste time trying to use DB bikes for tourism, when actually it's impossible for them to do so. I still think the bikes look great, and I'd love to have been able to ride one for a day.
