My family loves all of the protein powder flavors, although chocolate may be our favorite. I am very excited these products exist so that we can get the benefits of whey protein without the negative aspects (ie saturated fat, cholesterol, environmental harm, animal harm). The customer service has been great, and I am willing to pay the higher price to support this innovative company. My only recommendation is to remove the plastic scoops and also offer larger size options.

This review is just for the mixed berry flavor. This flavor is extremely sweet and has a super strong tart berry flavor. I usually make a banana and peanut butter smoothie and have used blueberry flavored pea protein from another brand. I wanted to try California Performance because of the innovative vegan whey protein and I really wanted to like them. But I cannot recommend the mixberry flavor. I hope they make a unsweetened and unflavored version in the future and I would try them again. But given the oversweetness of the mixed berry and its overpowering taste, I would not try their flavored proteins.

Thought the lid was metal. Only the body is. Top is some cheap plastic with some type of plastic mixer on the underside which is not removable. These features are not posted on the website.
Thought this could rival blender bottle but nope.
Will not purchase another one.

Couldn’t be happier with this protein. Although there really is no such thing as a vegan Whey ( registered nutritionist here), it absolutely the best tasting vegan protein on the market and the amino profile is more than adequate. Customer for life. I literally look forward to this treat after my workout everyday. Great product!

Tried to contact them but they have no telephone number. The only way you can contact them is to fill out boxes on their website. I did this but no response. Very unprofessional. Be very cautious of a company that makes it difficult to contact them and/or do not respond to inquiries.

I was so excited for this bottle, however I was slightly disappointed. My package arrived a week later than it was supposed to and when I got it out of the box it wasn’t even the color I ordered. I had selected the green fern color and got yellow instead. Considering the bottle was already a week late, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of sending it back and waiting for a new one. I do like the bottle however.

The texture is very smooth compared to the plant-based protein I'm used to, and the flavor is great. The order arrived quickly and included a sweet coupon.

Great customer service. There have been shipping delays, but they've always been resolved quickly once I contact the company. During COVID I totally understand the shipping woes facing retailers. Caz Lam on the HK site took great care of me and was very responsive. Everyone at Perfect Day and California Performance Nutrition has really impressed me so far! Caz was quick to resolve issues and I even got a free stainless steel shaker as an apology for the delay. I'll continue to purchase and use this protein for as long as I can get it!

It's been over 2 weeks since I ordered my product and I still haven't received my order. Even with COVID it should not be taking nearly 3 weeks with still no sign of my order.

I had really high hopes for this product but it is over sweetened with stevia and tastes like chemicals. I don't remember any of the advertisement or packaging mentioning sweetness so I was very surprised and disappointed.

This stuff tastes and mixes better than any plant protein powder I've tried. I just wish I could order a larger size bag for a cheaper price per pound. Big fan of the berry flavor!

I ABSOLUTELY Love this Protein Powder.

I haven’t been this happy about protein in so long! it’s so hard to find vegan powder that doesn’t taste chalky or like I have to choke it down! so far the berry one is amazing in even just water! WOO HOO!!!

California performance was here on time, they were very pleasant to work with, and completed the job quickly and in a clean fashion. We were very happy with all the things that they did.

I really wanted to like this, but it smells incredibly artificial and honestly doesn't taste great. I can't imagine someone trying to mix this in just water like recommended. I'll try it again in a smoothie and see if fruit and other ingredients can make it taste good, otherwise I think it's a miss for me.
