Customer service will ignore you

I ordered a Dr Dabber Switch 2 on Black Friday. The item shipped quickly and arrived the following Thursday. Upon opening I found that the glass induction cup was broken. I opened a ticket with Cali Connected via email and they responded quickly saying they would be shipping out a replacement induction cup.

As soon as I got the shipping email for a replacement, I realized they were sending me the wrong replacement, it would not fit my device. I notified them of this within a few hours of getting the email. Once I notified them of this, the wrong replacement never shipped and they have since ghosted me. I've tried follow up emails and phone calls over the past 8 days, but have not heard back. For me to even use this device, I would have to spend another $40 plus tax and shipping for a replacement induction cup.

I even requested a simple return of the device and refund, yet they will not respond. I have contacted my credit card company to issue a charge back, so I can get my money back and shop elsewhere.

Unacceptable Service

Unacceptable Service – Order Cancelled After 3 Weeks With Zero Communication

I placed an order with CaliConnected on November 26th, paid in full, and immediately received confirmation. For more than three weeks, I received no meaningful updates, no explanation for the delay, and no proactive outreach. The order status remained “partial fulfillment” with no progress.

After reaching out for clarification, I suddenly received an email notifying me that my entire order was cancelled and refunded without any prior notice or justification. Three weeks of silence, no transparency, no customer support follow-up, and then an abrupt cancellation — this is not how a professional company treats its customers.

This experience demonstrates deep operational issues, a complete lack of communication, and unacceptable disregard for customers’ time and expectations. I should never have had to chase down basic information or wait weeks only to be told the order was cancelled.

I will never spend money with CaliConnected again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before placing an order. A business that cannot communicate, fulfill orders, or treat customers with basic respect does not deserve your trust.

Great experiences

I’ve ordered from caliconnected like 20 times now and they became my go to. Selection is big and always changing. Shipping fast, prices are solid, and they always seem to have some kind of deal running. I’ve recommended them to friends and will definitely keep shopping here.

I just had an issue with a lost package that was resolved right away last week. Raine asked me if I could leave a review as a long time customer so here it is!

Their customer service is garbage

Their customer service is garbage. I ordered a bubbler and after a week I still had not received confirmation of order. I emailed them only to receive an automated message that they'd get back to me, they didn't. I emailed them again and received an answer that they'd check into it and get back to me, they didn't. I then sent an email stating I wanted to cancel my order and miraculously I received an email saying it had been shipped, although it hadn't, only a shipping slip was made. According to USPS tracking is on its way now but it's stopped in 4 cities already in California and still hasn't hit the Canadian boarder. Very poor customer service as I never received an email back and no apologies. Won't order from them again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do.

Horrendous company

Horrendous company - never again! I ordered a pipe for a friend and had it sent to her. USPS lost it (or it was lost somewhere in transit) and there is NO reasonable response. They will neither send another pipe or refund my money. Zero Customer Support and awful to do business with!

PLEASE do not order from here/SCAM

PLEASE do not order from here. Like the other negative reviews I have ordered a week and one day ago, a simple bong that is supposed to be made by their manufacturer and probably the easiest item to ship. I have not received any update on shipping a week later and I can’t get a response from a real customer service agent to even get a refund! In this economy this is ridiculous. Especially if I paid for package protection the LEAST they can do is let me know they are delayed on getting out orders.

I’m starting to think this site is a complete scam. I’ve reached out about 3 times for a response and NOTHING. The owner also owns “SmokeSource.” I’d be weary of this place and just go support your local smoke shop.

EDIT: I finally got a response after threatening to write a bad review. They explained that “all my emails were going to spam” and there was an issue with my address (it’s the correct address never had issues before) claimed they tried to call me to let me know (they didn’t) then just gave me a refund because they knew they screwed up. Funny thing is I took my refund money bought from another all women owned brand online and it will be at my house on Monday with an immediate tracking number and all. As I said before this is either a scam or a horribly run business that needs to count their losses and shut down and stop accepting peoples hard earned money.! (okay rant over sorry lol)

Terrible order fulfillment and customer service

I experienced one of the worst customer experiences with Cali Connected. On 7/22/24 I placed an order for a Puffco Bottle Bong. I had to reach out on 7/30/24 to ask why my product had not shipped yet. I was refunded $7 shipping and given a $5 gift card instead of the full refund I asked for. I insisted for a refund and to have my order canceled, I now have to wait until the item is recieved and then shipped back to hopefully receive my money back.

I have been a first time customer to so many online headshops, Cali Connected stands out as the one that is the reason customers are skeptical in the first place. Order anywhere else and save yourself all this trouble. Now that I have been so wronged I want to make sure others do not experience what I have.

Customer Service is Excellent

Very positive customer service interaction. I submitted a link to a purchase I made from them at a lower price before they shipped it out. They quickly and with no issue credited my purchase to match the price of the link I sent them. Item I purchased has glass. The company that makes it double boxes it. Then Cali Connected packed and boxed it again. Shipping and delivery was fast. Received my item on the 5th day after purchase. Highly recommend Cali Connected.
