I have ordered quite a lot of different cakecards from this company and ordered two for Mothers Day with the same cakes. Delivery via Amazon was better than Royal Mail.
Verdict....red velvet moist but boring

ordered for my mother in law for her birthday as we couldn't visit. she absolutely loved them. she had to stop my father in law from stealing them. red velvet and lemon both in good dates and lovely and moist. Will definitely be using again.

I received a cakecard for my birthday a few days ago, what a lovely surprise, and the cakes were delicious.
I will be sending these to friends/family in the future.

Flatmate received as a gift and gave me one of the slices - 'Easter chocolate special.' Dry and I wouldn't shout about it, although the best before is 05/04/2021 and it is now 08/04/202, so that could be contributing to the staleness. A cute gift and not something I would be unhappy to receive (it's the thought that counts) but the cake itself isn't amazing.

Received as a gift. Well packaged and received in good condition. Red Velvet was very dry. The coffee cake slice was ok but not very strong taste.

Having sent one as a gift, which was received positively, I ordered one that would be delivered to our home for a family member.
It arrived a day earlier than expected -a bit surprising but better than late.
The slices were smaller than imagined but, when there is a card & free postage, not unexpected.
We all tasted the two cake slices which, although had lovely flavours, we found the cakes to be a bit dry. The cream/icing on both cakes was overly sweet. Very shocked to see the cakes, for a small slice, were over 400 calories each! That’s more than a roast dinner.
Would still order again to send for others as it’s a nice little extra for people you always send a card to, but don’t generally send a gift, or as a bit of an extra surprise with an engagement/congratulations card.

I ordered a cake card as a well done to my daughter on finishing university to arrive on the day she received her final results. I ordered the new espresso martini cake slice, which my daughter informed me tasted exactly like a martini espresso cocktail. Really pleased with delivery and from my daughters perspective the quality and taste of the cake

Its ok as in the cakes are average in taste but frustrating with the time scale of delivery as to begin with they were early or spot on but now always late which is disappointing heres the order number #188447

Good value. Easy to use website, easy to place an order. Good service, informed of progress of order. Nice cake slice size and taste. Would buy again.

What a wonderful idea, something a little different. I sent one to my grandchildren instead of a postcard. They were very excited to receive it and loved the surprise and the cakes.

I bought a card for my dad as a gift for Fathers Day.

I spoke to him on Sunday, and he said both bits of the cake was lovely as was the card.

I'd recommend buying a celebration cake card for any occasion.

Use Sponge regularly and always great service & product.

Good product unfortunately both orders arrived later than expected and returned to sender. Not much use when you need the cards for an occasion. Precious order I made was also damaged in delivery. My responses and concerns were met with poor customer service and short and snappy responses.
If you decide to use this company allow sufficient time to receive your goods. Personally I would use someone else or a company who have a more reliable delivery service.

I ordered a cake card for Father's day. From choosing which slices of cake and adding a tea bag it was seamless. In respect of delivery, I got the notification it was on its way. The recipient was really happy to receive something different.
