I provided a review when prompted by the update. I commented about an error that appeared on two stocks I followed. "There is an issue with your transactions."
Yahoo Finance replied, "Delete and re-enter your information."
That suggestion may have worked, if it was not for the fact I had four years of data.
A star was lost because of that and now I have the same problem in another stock. Guess I'll have to wait for the next update.
Set your goals and step towards them!
They've got some of the most ignorant minded business people on their app. It's like an application for slow-minded idiots. You should see their assessment of fantasy football they're even dumber with that these people are stupid it's amazing that they've even figured out how to make an app
You will never be able to unsubscribe!!! I didn’t even sign up for it, then tried multiple times to unsub. The unsubscribe doesn’t work - you stop payments on PayPal then they tell you that you owe them money AND you must PAY to zero the debt BEFORE you can unsubscribe. Never used it so no idea if the service is good but for that reason - I never would.
Tyrants on this platform will censor you and then not allow you log in. They will allow others to post anything while you can't say clown or make a picture of clowns. It's all a scam show run by the same babies that rig everything in this world. They are not to be trusted as they get a little bit of power and abuse it to the max. You all do not deserve life or the air you breath. Not one single one of you is innocent!
Within the last week, yahoo customer service informed all users that the yahoo classic stock display will no longer be available, only the current improved new version will be available. This is really sad since the new version performs so badly that it can't be used. Upon complaining to yahoo customer service a reply comes back "just be patient and understanding" while the problems with the new version is resolved by the "customer service team." This is the answer when the new version doesn't even work with glitches, klunky slow response times, a resource hog taking up all of the computer's memory without letting any other programs run in the background, etc? This wasn't at all the case with the classic version of yahoo and one was able to to revert back to the classic version, but not now anymore. It's use only the new version when using it is impossible. Looking at customer service feedback shows that over 300 complaints by users have been made and I would assume that the same "be patient and understanding" are the answers they all got as well. I don't see how yahoo can do this and still maintain their customers at any level. For me, my use has been for the last 3 years where others report that they've counted on yahoo finance stockmarket displays for 10 years. If those in control would only let us use the classic version until all problems with the new version were solved, we users could be satisfied. As things stand though, the program and all the data saved have become useless Please let customer service at yahoo finance to let us use the classic version until the new version problems are solved otherwise yahoo finance has to be put on the shelf or canceled and not used at all .
Hoping this reaches someone who can resolve the problem with use of the classic version again.
Today’s update was the last straw. This used to be a valuable tool but the last couple of updates have been useless.
The fact that someone is being paid to “f…up”what once was a great info. provider should be extremely embarrassing to whoever is managing the system,
Stopped using after the new UI. Missing information and inefficient to use.
I gave this company two stars because they have a message board for each company where anyone allegedly can write comments about the company opinions the market whatever it is. But yahoo sensors posters because it doesn’t like what they write about a particular issue or market trend for example. Census census users, writing, whatever they want of course we’re talking about posts that are compliant. They don’t call for violence. They don’t attack anybody and they don’t on drugs. We’re just talking posts that are purely finance oriented market oriented company oriented. This kind of censoring gives me an easy sensation of market manipulation . I think that the SEC should look into Yahoo. TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT REALLY FERMENTING AND OR PARTICIPATING IN PRICE FIXING IN ANY KIND WHATSOEVER. THIS KIND OF CENSORING IS WHAT MAKES ME UNEASY ABOUT THE COMPANY, AND UNABLE TO TRUST THEIR DATA AS WELL, SINCE THAT PERCEPTION OF MARKET MANIPULATION COULD ALSO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE DATA BEING PRESENTED. YAHOO FINANCE HAS A SERIOUS CREDIBILITY PROBLEM AND THAT’S WHY I GIVE IT TWO STARS. IF THEY WERE TO IMPROVE THIS, I WOULD GIVE IT A DEFINITELY FIVE STAR BECAUSE YAHOO IS OTHERWISE VERY USEFUL. BUT AS I SAID BEFORE BECAUSE OF HOW THEY SENSOR AND THE CURE GOES INTO THE MESSAGE BOARDS IT REALLY IS A TUTORIAL COMPANY THAT USES PEOPLE AS THE WRITERS , THE PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU’RE SHORT SIDED AND YOU EXCLUDE THE BEST THINKERS BECAUSE SHE DON’T LIKE WHAT THEY’RE SAYING YOU DIMINISH THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE ENTIRE PLATFORM AND THEREFORE ADVERTISING REVENUE. NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY IS A PLATFORM THAT THAT PROBABLY IS WORKING IN THE INTEREST OF THE PORTFOLIO OF THE OWNERS
I have a bit of a problem with my profile or portfolio on Yahoo finance. When I view my profile or portfolio pre-market the numbers are incorrect, my profile or portfolio may show post market data from the day before or the week before.
In order to correct this issue I have to log out of my profile, exit the app on my Android phone, open the app again, view the first stock in the portfolio, and then sign back in to the app. Even then things aren't 100%, the thumbnail chart that shows next to each stock is still from the day before, and there may be a stock or two that I have to individually repeat those same steps to get the information to be correct. I have sent Yahoo finance repeated emails over the last month or so, only to get a generic response from somebody at yahoo. They haven't asked me any questions such as my profile email address or anything pertinent to be able to fix my profile, if it's just a problem for me. If it's a problem for others, they haven't made any fixes to the app to fix it for other people. In my estimation they're not interested in a fix for this issue. Here is the response I got this morning (monday, October 24th, 2022) from Yahoo.

I will post updated details in this review as I have them.
Thanks for listening.
Produces misleading and factually wrong headlines and content.
Eg Today 11th April 2022;
"FTSE 100 tumbles as UK economic growth slows
Suban Abdulla"
Mon, 11 April 2022, 8:43 am
FTSE100 had moved about 40 pts which is not exactly "tumbling"
I note such idiotic rambling nonsense on a regular basis. Their journalists want to grab headlines or attention or something, but if you ant hyperbolic nonsense choose Yahoo!
Of course there's no way to complain to Yahoo! Finance nor their half-whitted journalist.
