The C2 Education Germantown team reached out to us last year, informing us that we need to use the remaining 79 hours, valued at $8,000, by March 2025. When we enrolled my older kid in C2 in 2018, they assured us that these hours were not time-bound. However, last year, they claimed the hours had expired and required us to transfer them to my younger kid account, stipulating they should be used by March 2025. My younger kid, currently in 9th grade, plans to use these hours after September 2025. Despite multiple requests, the C2 team has refused to extend the deadline and is pressuring us to sign a digital contract. Now, they are stating that since we did not sign the contract last year, they will not honor the remaining 79 hours ( worth $8K ) unless we purchase an additional 100 hours for $6,000 before November 2024. This is totally insane and it is not small amount for us.

Very Disappointing Experience
I had high hopes for this tutoring center, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. My son and I visited the center, and we were told they could help with all of his classwork. After spending over an hour taking a test, we reviewed the results with a team member. We were then asked what my son wanted to focus on, and we set up a trial class. The team member double-checked everything to ensure the plan was clear.
However, the next day, I received an email at 5:30 PM saying that the AMC tutor was no longer available, and there was no phone call or follow-up to discuss the change. I felt this was very unprofessional, especially considering the time and effort we had already invested—over two hours in person. I called to address the situation and spoke with the manager, but the conversation was frustrating. The manager kept bringing up the AMC 8, which was unrelated to my son's needs, and ultimately, she ended the call abruptly, which only added to my frustration.
I would expect better communication and customer service from a professional tutoring center. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking into other options like Kaplan or other local centers, where the customer experience and professionalism seem far better. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

I enrolled for many years with this tutoring company for all my kids. Finally, they took my left over money claiming inflation rising and my account is expired. I told them if my account expired, you need to refund my money left over back. I spent a lot of my hard-earned money with your institution. Plus, I don't care about inflation rise up and down. If inflation goes down, are you going to give me money back? Dumb answer to customers. I will tell all my friends and families not to use this cheating tutoring service. I spent more than $20,000 about 10 years plus ago. I need to report to Business Better Bureau and FBI to investigate this scam service.

The course content is rich and practical, the teaching methods are vivid and interesting, the service is thoughtful, and the students have made remarkable progress, which is trustworthy!

c2 deserves ZERO stars.
Center Directors (sheisty salesmen disguised as college experts) sell exorbitant priced contracts under the pretense c2 cares about children. But once buried-in-the-fine-print hours expire, children no longer have access to these hours. The deceptive part is the Center Director verbally promised, and repeatedly assured us, that c2 hours DON'T EXPIRE. Furthermore, she convinced us to buy a very large package of hours for our young children to share so we could lock in the rate. If c2 truly put students first, students should have access to the instructional hours their parents paid for, upfront and in full. I actually have a recording of our Center Director admitting that she knows she promised us our c2 hours would not expire. She goes on to state it was a well known company wide policy to NOT enforce expiration dates. BUT out of the blue, Corporate had a change of heart. No grandfather clause for families who enrolled under their original policy. Well played MONEY GRAB, Corporate. Well played!
Furthermore, a c2 hour is a misnomer and another way c2 deceives us. The student to teacher ratio is 3:1 and the teacher has a personal prep time prior to the session which is also deducted from YOUR child's c2 hour. So each "c2 hour" equates to LESS THAN 20 minutes of 1:1 interaction with the teacher. Let that sink in.
Let's examine another example of deception. c2 tests are NOT official College Board or ACT tests as c2 would like you to believe. Center Directors demand students come into their centers to take tests in order to simulate "real testing conditions" but then proceed to administer bogus exams designed by c2. Their free practice tests entice new families to come into the center so they can get bamboozled into buying expensive packages since "proprietary c2 tests" ensure scores will likely fall short of parental hopes or expectations.
Read the c2 complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (Grade F, Unaccredited) and ONLY the 1star reviews here on Trustpilot, Yelp, Google, and Reddit. Most 5 star reviews are paid advertisements which Center Directors solicited and compensated with bonus hours. This explains why positive reviewers clearly identify their real names or their child's name, or mention exactly which specific center they're raving about. 5 star reviewers want to make sure those bonus hours are deposited into the correct account.
Finally, through c2's REFERRAL program c2 families recruit their own friends/family to buy exorbitant priced packages, write 5 star reviews in exchange for bonus hours, and through RETENTION (getting pressured into extending their own contracts), well-intentioned c2 families are unwitting pawns in c2's Master formula. Be wary of Center Director's calls and DocuSign contract updates. "I promise," "special promotion," or "mandatory" are huge red flags🚩🚩🚩. Record every conversation with the Center Director, read the fine print, and think long and hard about signing anything. Better yet, protect your family's sanity and bank account by seeking OTHER more ethical, and actually accredited, tutoring options. We wish we had never stepped foot in a c2 center.
Warn your family and friends.
AVOID c2.
It's easy to remember: corrupt company.
UPDATE: I contacted c2 according to their response below. As I fully expected, this corrupt company is sticking to their expiration date buried in the contract rather than what they trained their unprincipled Center Director minions to say to seal the deal. Their pitiful response to addressing and rectifying their Bait and Switch scheme confirms c2 doesn't care about their students. One would think that a so-called test prep company would know what the words "ample" and "fair" actually mean. As long as a customer complaint doesn't hint at refunding tuition money, they'll address a minor bungle. Otherwise, they're 💯 about profit.

C2 Education system are Money diggers and i am writing a review about center 415 Peachtree Pkwy Suite 205
The education center in question presents itself as a premier institution for student success, but beneath its polished exterior lies a troubling reality. With exorbitant fees, it often prioritizes profit over genuine educational outcomes, leaving both parents and students feeling exploited.
Parents, seeking the best for their children, find themselves caught in a cycle of high costs and unmet promises. The center frequently shifts the blame for any lack of progress onto the students, positioning them and their families as scapegoats in a system that seems more concerned with financial gain than with fostering true learning and development.
As a result, many families feel disillusioned and frustrated, having invested significant resources in an institution that fails to deliver on its lofty claims. The center’s approach not only undermines trust but also raises serious questions about the ethics of prioritizing revenue over the educational well-being of students.
Example: They give very dumb question paper which is highly difficult and they make parents and students think they are dumb and need lot of support from them and dig all your money and after that they don't even care about your progress and tests, they go by their schedule and availability of their tutors.

Results matter. And that is what my high school son received from tutoring and doing DSAT Prep with C2 Millburn. My son had a close-to-perfect DSAT score thanks to C2 Millburn's ELA tutoring and the proprietary mock DSAT practice tests. Other than the result, I appreciate the Center Director (Dani)'s approachability, high energy and encouragement, as well as the Education Coordinator (Tugce)'s always polite and professional demeanor and responsive communication. If you are thinking about helping your child to improve on a subject or prep for DSAT, I will recommend talking to C2 Millburn.

My experience with college counseling at C2 has been nothing short of amazing. I have a wonderful college counselor at the Dublin center who has helped me navigate the confusing waters of high school, as well as guided me through the ins and outs of what colleges are looking for in the last six years. She helped my older brother get into Purdue for Biomedical Engineering, and is keeping me on a path to great schools, too. I know I can come to her with any questions I have about the college application process. I always confer with her before I make any of my important decisions: what classes to take next year, how many weighted, what clubs I should do, what extracurriculars, what summer programs, etc. She helps me with things I wouldn't have thought of on my own, like keeping track of the activities I do so I can write about them later in college essays. Overall she is just an amazing person, helping me stay motivated and giving me pep talks whenever I need one. Though the college application process can be intimidating, with the help of a great college counselor, it is so much more manageable. It has been a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend.

The team at C2 Fairfax is really stellar. They understand the school system and knew how to prepare our children for the standardized tests as well as the courses for their target university programs.

The Front Desk was always very welcoming and was able to help with scheduling and support. The tutoring experience was helpful; you can clarify questions and ask for extra support in specific areas. The only downside was that it could take a little bit of time to get answers because you are also working with other students. Depends on the situation. Overall the tutors were able to help me understand concepts and problems for my classes (especially physics, thanks for that), but not much of an "increase in SAT score" as they really claim to promote, in my experience.

Great people, great place, great results. I enrolled my son with C2 to get his ACT scores up, and that they did. He went up 4 points going from a 30 to a 34. I had very good teachers, and the administrators are extremely helpful. They patiently rescheduled classes when needed and arranged weekly practice tests with results review which helped my son a lot.

They are scam. The cheat parents with their hard earned money. They take your money, time and energy and give nothing in return. They owe me few grands which they took in advance and they could never deliver promised session as either faculties were missing or too ineffective and they force you to sign contract claiming that your hours are expired. I am sharing this experience about Glenview, Chicago Location.

Reply from C2 Education
I wanted to share my recent experience with C2 Education to ensure that others are aware. When I initially signed the contract, I was assured that my remaining hours would not expire. However, after a year, I was informed that the 45 hours I had left would expire within a month if I did not purchase additional hours.
Unfortunately, this situation led to significant frustration. The Plainview office has since closed, and it appears that many other parents, including myself, have been affected. I encourage you to be cautious and thoroughly review any agreements or contracts before committing.
Please be aware of these practices at all C2 Education locations and consider this information as you make your decisions.
