Item delivered was not what I was sold

Item delivered was not what I was sold. It was a gift that my friend gratefully accepted and opened not knowing that it wasn’t what was ordered. I could have brought item much cheaper elsewhere. Bythebottle where unwilling to accept a return or offer any alternative due to it being opened.
