Good service but hidden extra charges
My pick up has been done by the brown team which was very fast, they arrive on time early in the morning. These 2guys were really helpful and kind.
But I’m very disappointed about one thing..
I’ve subscribed for 6 months storage which is £52 pm, pick up free included.. But I’ve been charged £49 EXTRA for loading time, so £100 in total instead of £52! An amount that I wasn’t expecting at all.. At the end the pick up is not free at all!
I have called the customer service that told me that the first 15 minutes of loading was free but charged £49 (let’s say £50 at that point!) over 15 minutes! Please tell me how is possible to load in less than 15 minutes? It’s impossible so you’ll obviously have to pay £50 for the pick up anyway!
They should at least give the first half hour for free not just 15 minutes and pretending doing the pick for free…
It’s not very clear… It should be more visible on the website to avoid discovering extra fees at the end.
Not everyone is rich or can afford a bill of £100..
Except that the service was really great, It’s nothing related with the pick up team.
I’ll give a chance and hope I’ll get back my boxes in a good conditions with nothing missing.

Smashed our items to smitherines
Returned boxes of our stuff with the contents smashed to smitherines, but are protected by their T&Cs which says that we have no recourse because we signed for the boxes.
Given that the delivery arrived 6 hours later than first communicated, and the two guys on the van were extremely rude, we weren’t particularly inclined to make them wait while we opened all the boxes.
Plus, so many boxes were affected I’m just not sure how realistic that would have been - especially given that they charge you extra for any return that lasts over 30 mins.
Also worth noting that their ‘guaranteed’ £49 return fee is only guaranteed if the return is not on the weekend and again, doesn’t last for more than 30 mins.
Their business model seems to be based on a series of seemingly good service policies which turn out to be heavily caveated in their terms - please don’t give your business to a company that so obviously lacks integrity - any cost saving is wiped out by the huge risk to your belongings.

Had a great time with the stored team. Everything is organised and drop-off was extremely smooth. Big shout out to Pawan and Paul (sorry if I remembered the wrong names!) who were absolutely amazing in delivering and moving everything and returning my boxes in such clean condition!!!!
The pick-up though was a little rough (I think it was with a contractor) and the process was not smooth although everything worked out in the end - although there shouldn't be any excuses for any company, I think it's natural for logistical processes to have slight hiccups so I am happy to overlook it in light of the whole experience which was very positive. Will definitely store with stored again next time when I need storage in London!! :)
Poor effort
Quite like these guys used them before. This time - they lost one of my bags - emailed them and tried to phone a few times - they just do not reply - you're kind of powerless to get belongings retrieved. I never write things like this cannot be bothered. But is poor form.

Been using Stored for quite a while now, being on tour often and with little space in my studio flat, it makes it easier to store and get my percussion set back when needed for my shows. Been using Stored for 2 years now with no problems!

Where do I begin... Everything that could go wrong with my experience, did indeed go wrong. I would avoid this company at all costs in the future. They advertise their service as cheap and hassle-free, - and this was neither.
I have booked a 25 sq. feet space, which was going to be just enough, considering my expectation that I am dealing with professionals who know how to stack up items. I carefully measured all my boxes, and even disassembled a few things to make sure they all fit.
The storage men came, and they took a while marking all the boxes, also chatting me up about my personal life and their personal lives. Anyways, they leave, but before they leave they need to get my signature. Their machine turned out to be out of power, so they had to go back to their truck to recharge it. They then come back up half an hour later, for me to sign. I was charged an additional £90 for the extra time, - basically for them chilling in their truck while the machine was charging, I had to pay £90 - so that went well.
I was then charged an additional £90 for an upgrade to a 50 sq. feet storage space. - I definitely did not need all that space.
Anyway, I went on to object these charges to customer support, - but it is impossible to get on a phone with them. Their lines are always busy, and you are unable to talk to an actual person. When you use the chat feature, they hardly ever respond or follow up with you. I had to chase them literally every day for about 2 weeks to get some sort of refund after explaining what happened in detail to multiple people.
When the time came to return it, they booked me up for Saturday, and then Friday the day before I got a call saying they would be with me in the next half hour.
And they said they aren’t even working on Saturday. I wasn’t available that day, so at this point, I wasn’t even sure that they would redeliver on Saturday (the originally scheduled date).
They did come the next day which was a pleasant surprise, but it didn’t last long. They only returned a third of my boxes, whilst I requested my whole inventory to be returned. They then speculated saying that somehow my inventory was booked under 2 forms, and only one form made it to their website. - so the rest of my things were not tracked at all!
If you remember at this point in my saga, it is impossible to reach them by telephone. I tried their chat, and sent them emails, - and for days they either ignored me, or said they would look into it, or that it should take them at least 10 business days to look into the matter. I even called the delivery guy (the only contact I was able to call), - only to find out that he was let go by the company.
They eventually found my inventory and delivered it next week… Along with other things that didn’t belong to me…. To my comment that these couple boxes are not mine - they said: ‘Well just take them’….
The long story wasn’t over at that point... As I was unpacking, I realized a couple of items were still missing, - so I had to -again - chat them/email them, - and again and wait for the delivery. Which I did eventually get.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, - so I think I am ready for anything after this experience of mine.
