It's been 45+ days of not receiving my wife's infusion sets. She is now out of them. Multiple calls (8-10) with various run-around tactics (need to prescription, etc). Main reason is "Tandem is o... See more

As a new ostomy patient, I temporarily had a visiting ostomy nurse. She set me up with Byram, because she likes them. That's great, I don't. Order needed supplies online, because the wait time on the phone is ridiculous. They take things I ordered off the order, and give no explanation. As a new patient, how am I supposed to know. My current order has been sitting in their warehouse for 4 days, waiting for the courier to pick up for delivery. Goodbye Byram Healthcare.
I have been using Byram for quite a while now. I put my order in. They go through my insurance and dont contact you about any balances due. When I would go in to reorder I would see a balance due and that I need to make the payment before I can reorder. I make the payment, reorder and the cycle happens again. For the past year, when I make the payment it goes to a "past due amount for 6+ months ago but it doesnt show on my end of what I owe, it only shows on their side. Please be careful with using this company and keep track of your payments! They keep telling me I have these past due payment in collections but every time I tell them I made those payments on these dates from my bank account they say "Well that payment was for another past due amount from 6 months before that original past due payment.
I’ve never encountered a provider as unreliable as Byram Healthcare. They sent me on months of pointless runarounds. First, they asked for prescriptions—done. Then they wanted medical charts—done. After all that, they still refused service, claiming it’s simply their policy not to do what’s needed. Even my insurance confirmed they cover it—it’s Byram that just won’t act. I spent hours on hold and felt like I was working for them. They made me do all the legwork just to hit a wall. They even got basic info wrong, insisting my insurance was something it’s not. The customer service reps don’t seem trained or empowered to help. In the end, I was told to switch providers, which is exactly what I’m doing—because, as even insurance admitted, Byram is notorious for not providing the services they’re supposed to.
Byram Healthcare spends more effort not helping you than anything else. If you are considering buying this subsidiary, be sure to offer pennies on the dollar. It's worthless! The only value you'll get is the client list. A perfect example of American style healthcare. Total Joke!
My husband's been a customer of Byram Health for several years. Recently, our insurance changed. Byram began billing him at a much higher rate. Byram never contacted our insurance company we provided them to update their records. To date, they've not reimbursed us for the overcharges we paid. Additionally, every month since the change in insurance, for the past several months, the orders were delayed or canceled for one reason or another for various reasons, causing us to shop and purchase supplies to compensate for their delay. We are currently searching for another provider to service us. Please don't waste your time with this company.
I received an order without knowing the cost. The company indicated that it could take 30 to 45 days to ascertain the price, yet the return window is only 15 days.
In contrast, other companies typically provide pricing information within three days, prior to shipment.
After they convinced me that they took my insurance and there would be no problems (and there were listed with my insurance), they sent 90 days of glucose monitors. Then came the bill for $800, basically a ridiculous price. Now they sent me to collections even though I have reached out for assistance from them. At the collections they say I owe $1,200. Byram might as well just be Somali owned and operated. No thanks. I am also not paying. Over my dead body.
This company is the absolute worst! Whoever runs this place needs to
Resign… these are medical supply’s… they are important! Multiple times I run out of supply’s before they even
Attempt to ship
My order… it’s consistently 2 weeks for me to get my order.
Horrible. Ridiculous prices. Send the supplies before you realize how astronomical the price is...20 bucks at walmart they charge 200...then no returns....Hope they go under.
Byram healthcare has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life!!! My mom passed away and I sent them a copy of a death certificate. They “Carlos” the supervisor said they would have to an internal review the death certificate and get back to me! I waited 8 hours for him to call me back. Yet last month I talked with another supervisor and she said everything was handled. The internal copies horrible and their billing department billed 6 months after the passing of my mom. It’s hard enough to loss your mother, but dealing with this unprofessional business is unbelievable. Don’t do any busy with this company. My mom constantly complained about them, know they are questioning a death certificate. I would give them zero stars on every aspect of this company.
Add me to the list of unhappy customers. I didn't really pick Byram. I was hooked up with them by my ostomy nurse. Wish I would have known better. Their customer service is right up there with AT&T and DirecTV. Or, I should say down there. Good luck if you have a problem and you want to speak to someone who can understand you. I've had to deal with them for a year. Thank god it is over. I had to give 1 star, else it would be zero.
I have been a nurse since 1997, and I have never run into this level of incompetence. Multiple calls, hours on hold, multiple times faxing orders, and they still get the order wrong every single time. Not just a little wrong: every single item is incorrect. Every single time. They will also tell you there's an order on the way, with a text that has an order number with a non-working link. But it just doesn't arrive, and the next person you talk to has no record of anything being ordered. Don't waste your time or effort with this company!!
I don't understand how this company can make any money when they make it so incredibly difficult to make a payment.
There is no online bill pay is available as a guest. The only options are mailing a check (seriously, who even has checks anymore?) or paying by credit card over phone - no thank you; Aside from the security concern, I also want to receive a receipt for HSA medical expense tracking.
Maybe online bill pay is available with an account, but I wouldn't know because it's impossible to make an account. It is an endless loop of 'send an activation email' and 'that email address isn't in our system' because my email address was never used to receive these medical supplies. A home-health nurse from a healthcare system (picked by my discharging hospital) ordered these supplies to my house and now Byram is charging me for the supplies. I had no involvement in the selection of Byram, so my email address is not in their system. Reaching out to support sends me in an endless loop of 'not my problem, try contacting xxxxx'
I don't even want to make an account because my in-home wound care is complete and I have no need to use Byram again. Why has Byram put up so many roadblocks to take my money?? 'Make it easy to get paid' is simple Business 101, yet so many companies fail at it, but Byram has been the worst offender I've seen.
Billing issues are nothing but the run around! Saying I had a past due from July , however when I ordered in October there was nothing past due! Horrible experience
Please avoid this place. Their customer service did not provide any solution, and their internet connection is very poor, so you can’t hear what they’re saying.
Order my supply of Libre3 sensors. Placed my order through Byram. They shipped my order to another of my addresses in Florida when it was supposed to come to my home in Illinois. Called them and they said I never told them to change the address but yet they bill my home address in Illinois. I told them I only have 12 days on my sensor until I am out and won't be down in Florida for 19 days. Could they ship me 1 sensor because the one I have on now will not last that long. These morons said to get someone in Florida to send them back to them and they will ship it back out to me. They said they could not guarantee that I would receive it in time. 1st of all when I called it sounded like one big party going on I could hardly understand the person on the phone. Visiting my Endocon ologist hopefully Monday and explain the situation and see if I can switch from this disaster of a company to a local pharmacy. I wish there was a star in the negative for these jerks. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, REVIEWS SHOULD SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES, JUST LOOK...
If I could give a zero I would. We have been fighting with them
Since October for my son’s medical supplies. He has been a customer since 2019 , there was an insurance change due to his disability. They have sent his doctor multiple forms about information needed and she has sent it back and then they say they need something completely different even though they sent her the form and she signed off on it. These are medical supplies need for a paraplegic and it has been going on for 2 months. Supervisors are never available , they never call back. I had o e supervisor call and then send me a direct email which I responded to. Guess what they went ghost also. Total disregard for people’s health and the company should be closed down.
UPDATE: changed to a different company and received all medical supplies needed in 24 hours.
Constant delays. Frequently blaming providers for not sending info, rude, frequent delays in shipping. Can’t count to 90 days!!! I’m a Type 1 diabetic, their delays frequently cause me to be sick.
All other negative reviews are absolutely truthfull and correct. Byram Health's license should be revoked. In summary, they declined my doctor's documents for a blood sugar monitor although my insurance approved the equipment. Why ? Because they did not like my HMO insurance. They want MONEY, BIG MONEY. HMO does not pay enough by their judgment, so they reject HMO patients. To find this out, one is on hold for easily 2 hours, with an abusive "hold music", meant to drive people insane. Their staff is the rudest and most abusive ones to deal with in health care. Byram is evidently run by a Medical Mafia. Go elsewhere. This company should be investigated and closed.
When ordering with these people, it’s probably the worst experience I’ve ever had as they say one thing and your items come in two weeks later. This company doesn’t give a shit about you..
