HI, please do a Favour not to use this service Boyet or Aunty Betty? I cancelled my ticket, January this year and the company promised the refund will be back in 12 weeks maximum. I am still waiting for the refund more than $1100. I might have emailed 25 to 30 emails and company comes back to me saying it is still in process. Can't believe it has been more than 40 weeks and I am still waiting on my funds.

The flight was cancelled by the airline itself. The incompetent Byojet staff did not know for two months after cancellation and delayed filing the refund request for these two months, then insisted on a 12-week period for refund processing, and I have not yet received the refund. They do not follow up on any emails they send; they simply don't care about the money they took from their customers. Now, with these significant delays, the prices for alternative bookings increased by more than 200$, and I have not even received the refund yet for 8 weeks after the start of the refund request period. I will never use this stupid agency again, and I will complain to the Australian Consumer Protection Agency.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from both China Southern Airlines and BYOjet.
For more than a month I have been trying to resolve a simple matter regarding my booking, which was affected by a one-hour schedule change. They note this as a minor change however the agent from byojet’s schedule change team informed me that under China Southern’s policy they are able to process a refund and China southern accepts cancelations for 1 hour schedule changes. However, they have made no effort to contact the airline. Under international airline policy and New Zealand consumer law, this entitles me to a full involuntary refund.
• I have contacted China Southern multiple times, including their hotline, where I was told directly that this refund is eligible. However, the airline has failed to provide any written confirmation or assistance, instead leaving me stuck.
• I have contacted BYOjet multiple times, and they are refusing to follow correct procedure. Instead, they claim China Southern is “uncontactable,” which is demonstrably false as I have been able to reach the airline myself.
• Both parties are passing responsibility back and forth, leaving me without resolution despite clear legal obligations.
This is not just poor customer service—it is unacceptable. As the issuing agent, BYOjet has the legal duty under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act to process the refund. As the airline operating carrier, China Southern has the obligation to support and confirm involuntary refund requests from agents. Neither has fulfilled their responsibility.
I have documented every communication and will escalate this matter further to:
• New Zealand Commerce Commission
• Disputes Tribunal
• Aviation consumer rights forums and review platforms
All I am asking for is the refund I am clearly entitled to, processed in line with airline procedures. The complete lack of accountability from both China Southern Airlines and BYOjet shows a disregard for customers and the law.
Unless this matter is resolved immediately, I will continue to escalate and share my experience publicly to warn other travellers.

I wanted to book a flight to see my family in France and the time I read everything again to make sure of my choice cause it's very expensive, the price changed from $4200 to $5000 in 20 min cause I didn't validated straight away. That's not fair, we feel like stolen. I didn't book.

Good competitive price but there are sites based in HK and ASIA where same flight price is better.
IF site had option to add on Airport transit hotel add on as option would have been better as some flights do have more than 10 hours connecting.
