The experience is good but taxes on my country (Peru) are a problem. Packages valued more than 200 USD need to pay high taxes and queue in bank that turn into a lose a lot of time.

Great proxy service that has a variety of items, easy to use, very fast and reliable. I like how I can add a protective packaging or how I can request a photo of my purchase and the free 30 days item storage is indeed super generous. But shipping can be a little too pricey if you are living outside Japan. I have bought from Buyee more than 5 items and each item has arrived safely. Their options for delivery can be either fast with buyer air at 1200 yen or standard of 800 yen.

Good communication and parcel, even though the main components were in a small carton box, was well protected.

Very disappointing experience.

The advertised price is nowhere near what you actually pay. The costs just keep adding up—service fees, inspection fees, domestic shipping, international shipping and Australian GST. By the time you reach the final payment, the “bargain” often isn’t a bargain at all.

What frustrated me most was paying the retailer’s full price while missing out on discounts and coupons that were available on the original website. That completely changes the value proposition.

As a rule of thumb, expect to pay 30% or more above the price displayed on the website once all the extra charges are added. Unless you’re buying something that is genuinely impossible to source elsewhere, I’d avoid Buyee. Make sure you calculate the full landed cost before ordering, not just the advertised price. In my experience, the overall service simply wasn’t worth it.

The site is easy to follow and the process give confidence on the shopping and the auction. Like the possibility to buy severall itens and combine a set in one single delivery. Well done Buyee Team!

The prices seem too good to be true and they are. I purchased a Pgu- Nu Gundam for $350 and then got invoiced for $210 for shipping, customs and duties. These things retail for $600 use. Not only did they drastically mislead on price, but the process took several weeks and the tracking service stopped working as soon as the package clear customs in the US.

The site also tells you AFTER you've purchased the item, that Japan Post is not accepting orders, forcing you to use the more expensive services to ship. A simple Google search confirmed that Japan Post began accepting orders intended for the US back in March so either this is deliberate or no one actually updates the site info.

Very disappointing I cant imagine I'll be using this service again
