Bought 2 sets of Dango Buds in 2020. One set died about 6 months ago but now they are both stone dead--cannot get any lights up at all. Now finding it hard to find contact for company.

An absolute scam

Purchased twice, the second time with a lifetime warranty. Two responses from their "customer service" team after numerous efforts to get the issues resolved.

DangoBuds: "Just to inform you that we already stopped production for this model and our warranty only coverage manufacturing defect."

Me: "It is a manufacturer defect. So I paid for the product and warranty and you're telling me I don't receive a replacement?"

DangoBuds: "The warranty does not cover defects from prolonged usage. The product was delivered on August 13, 2021 this order is too old for a refund or a replacement."

Apparently their lifetime warranty is the lifespan of a gnat.

Had for less than six months. Won't charge or connect. Simply a piece of "+_)< if you ask me as a customer. The jokes are on me. DON'T BUY !!!

The dang buds died and wouldn't charge in less than a year. They claim a lifetime guarantee. Lies.
I've written them 8 times and nothing. No customer support. Do not buy!

This product is BS. I told them I am no longer able to charge the case, so the ear buds are useless. Response from the manufacturer is they no longer offer what I purchased a year ago and they would be happy to sell me their latest product.

We bought a pair of Dango Buds from this website: buydangobuds.com in March, 2021 along with the extended warranty. They worked fine for about 6 months and then wouldn't charge anymore or connect via Bluetooth. We started contacting them last December with information about the extended warranty. This must be an overseas website because all we've heard is "we are busy and understaffed...please be patient". We've now gotten 5 of these e-mails, the last one stating, "we haven't heard back from you so the case is closed", even though we answered every one of their emails saying it still hasn't been resolved. This website seems to no longer even exist and unfortunately, we're pretty sure we've been duped. We're out the money for the ear buds along with the extended warranty.

Dango buds are a total scam. I paid $8.99 for S&H and was told in writing I would receive a free pair of Dango Buds. My credit card was charged $99.00- after a long and difficult phone call to customer service, I was told to return them (I paid for shipping) and my credit card would be refunded, but I had to call them to make sure they received them in 7 days. I called, they said they received them and would refund my credit card. I checked my statement and was refunded $79.00. So, they stole the original $9 I paid, $11 from the full refund I was suppose to get and an additional $6 for me to ship back to them: $26.00 in their pockets for absolutely nothing in return. DO NOT fall for this!

I paid for the shipping and they said they were free after that. Then they billed me just like the review below. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company but I am also looking to press charges. This is FRAUD plain and simple. When my credit card company sent me paperwork, my earbuds actually came from qualityperformance in Clifton NJ. When you google that, it says your information is subject to not being private and not to click on it. Who is the CEO of this fraudulent company?

They advertised $5.99 Dangobuds to my 80+ dad but they ended up charging him $79.99. Why do they engage in such deceptive business practices? This is a horrible way to get people to buy your product. Tricking seniors into purchasing them. He couldn't return and get his money back. Shame on you Dangobuds!

I would just like my money back because I never received these. I can not judge anything but hope for a fair resolution. Please refund and thank you for your time.

It's been 5 months with no product. $90 dollars down the drain. I've emailed them over and over with no response. I will be calling the better business bureau tomorrow. Don't order from this company.

Wasn't looking to try, actually wanted to buy for work. Ordered July 6, never received. 10 days later $80 was taken from my account. First chat support gave me tracking number and absolutely no movement. Chat again today(5 Aug 2021) no changed. Fritz insisted he couldn't cancel order until I received the earbuds. Kept getting excuses. TOTAL SCAM!!!! If Dango bothers to reply, screw you and your earbuds,I want my money back!

Yeah, well I've already reached out and you keep telling me to be patient and wait longer for a refund for a trial on a product I never received.

I did get my refund. Thank you.

I bought a case in January 2021. Worked well until last week. Now the left ear bud has no sound and the right one has very low volume. I've tried everything from resetting to factory settings to forgetting device and rebooting to bluetooth. Nothing works and I can't get anyone to help. Don't be duped. They only work for a few months.

I too was scammed by this company. Do not believe the sweet replies they are giving. About 3 weeks ago I was browsing email, Costco to be specific, and ad popped up that I had won, it appeared from Costco, just click here for free prize, so on. I never approved any transaction. Tried to close email, literally had to restart phone to get out. Today charge for $79.99 from what looks like from Dangobuds, not sure what this company's real name is, except FRAUD, Inc. My bank would not stop transaction, telling me technically I approved it. So I will use my own fraud protection by closing that bank account.

Ordered on the 6th of July, called a few weeks later and they were just getting processed Arrived on the 21 st and account was automatically billed 79.99. No 15 day trial but charged anyway. Sent back unopened with assurances my account will be reimbursed in 5-7 business days. We'll see.

How do I cancel this, didn’t know I would be charged $80 after 15 days!!! Never recorded anything and don’t want to get robbed of $80 more!!! Someone help

scam liars suppose to be free with survey no money going on card for them

Dang buds appeared to me as a set for free. All I had to do was fill out a survey for comcast cable. I filled out the surveys and then it prompts you to an order page. Here is where you find out it is only a free trial, and you need all your personal information and a credit card to receive them. I wonder if Comcast knows about this?
