Even with covid-19, BuyBackWorld still got my payment very quickly for my electronics.

Was told my phone was not unlocked but Cricket they do not sell to Cricket which is part of ATT offered me half of original offer. Seems these outfits always find a way to cut offer down . Told them to send it back

Excellent in all aspects. Fair buy back price. Easy to send product to them and a quick turn around to get paid. Used them many times they are the best.

I've done business with them for some years now. they've given me fair amounts and even gave me more than my original appraisal one time when they received my device and saw that it was a better version than I had indicated. Thats integrity. their process is easy too.

Super easy to ship my old tablet and get a little cash in the process.

I received a quote for an iPad and an iPhone online. The shipment process was easy, and they quickly notified me that the iPad had passed inspection. They promised payment in 2-3 days, and after 8 days I reached out to them to see what was going on and why my iPhone hadn’t yet been processed. After seeing a bunch of negative reviews I got nervous that this was a scam, but they quickly responded and within a couple more days the money came through PayPal. Overall I’m really happy I earned money from my old electronics.

First time trying out BuyBackWorld, Order#PS1835629417221. I created the order on 12/26/2020, arrived by USPS on 1/11/2021, and received notification on 2/5/2021 that my phone has now been inspected and offer revised from $30 to $2. This was after following up with the company a couple times on why the phone has not been updated as received yet. I wrote a review on Trustpilot once I received my revised offer on 2/5/2021 and sent BuyBackWorld an email stating my frustrations. Within a day, someone decided to flag my review and REMOVE it from Trustpilot. Would easily rate BuyBackWorld zero or negative stars if I could. Oh and by the way, I sold the same phone to another buyback company online and got my $30 without any issues!

I shipped two Macs to Buyback World; they acknowledged receipt a month ago, but since then they stated they only received one Mac, then two Macs and now they state they have not received anything. In effect, they have stolen my Macs. They are impossible to contact via phone and all I get is spam from their help desk tool.

Sent in a laptop that they acknowledged receiving in December 2020. Halfway through February and there had been not a peep from them since the original email acknowledging receipt. Long past the 10-15 business days promised in the email when they acknowledged receipt. At this point, also way, way to long for “oh, golly, Covid!” to be any kind of excuse. Pure garbage company. Posting negative reviews such as this appears to be the best way to get them to do act.

Sent my items in on January 24th and they were received on January 29th. One item is marked as passed inspection, but the other two have been sitting on "received" for three weeks. Emails have stated that it would be escalated, with one last week even stating that they would be inspected and payment would be processed by Friday (yesterday) - none of which happened.

Website claims items are inspected and tested within two business days, and even giving some leeway because of COVID (which the websites says could cause minor delays, which I was aware of), they have been in possession of my items for three weeks and I feel that is a very long time. I was depending on this payment for rent and food, and this is a critical situation.

To recap, my items were received January 29th, and three weeks later, two of them are still awaiting inspection with no indication anything has been escalated. Three weeks is much later than the promise of "2-3 business days", even with a grace period for COVID. Very unhappy and will revise this review if something happens this next week.

EDIT: Situation was resolved and payment was sent, but well after the quoted time. Then, someone from the site tried to flag this review to have it removed. Very untrustworthy company whom I would not do business with again.

Happened to both myself and someone I know. Phones were sent in used but in perfect working order. Screens were perfect on both of them before sending in. Buybackworld says the screens were tinted and reduced the offer to pocket change from the initial offer. Both phones were sent back to us after the new offers were rejected and the screens checked again. Screens are still perfect, absolutely no tinting. I honestly have no idea where these people are getting the whole idea of a "tinting" problem from, they're just making this whole thing up. Wasted a month of my time between sending the phone in and having the bogus offer sent to me. Don't waste your time with these people.

I sent in my iPhone and MacBook Pro in early January. They received both of them on 1/8 and I got an email on 1/18 that processing would take 10-15 days but I haven’t heard anything else since then. I wanted to send them more products but this site doesn’t seem legit. Hopefully I’m wrong and I hear something soon. For now, I wouldn’t recommend using this site.

What a rip-off! I got a $21 quote for an old android phone I used for about 3-4 years. It was kept in a case the whole time and not so much as a scratch on it. The phone I sent to this company on January 2nd, 2021 was in pristine condition! They didn't acknowledge receipt until the 18th. No funds came through. I inquired and got a sorry, we're behind response. Two more weeks went by and I inquired again. Finally, they sent a survey asking if I was satisfied with the service. How could I be satisfied with no payment received for my phone? As soon as I sent that dissatisfied response, within 5 minutes they emailed me saying my offer had been reduced to $1 due to LCD screen damage and burn-in on the phone. A flat out LIE! Why would anyone sell a phone with a bad screen? What kind of people run this place? I don't need $21 that badly, and all people trying to get a few bucks for a phone aren't broke and desperate! I denied their funky $1 offer and told them to send my phone back. I have pictures of what it looked like before, so we'll see if they damaged it, if they ever actually send it back! Horrible business practices! These people are straight con artists!!!!! Avoid them at all costs.

I sold you a damaged Apple watch for $5. A few weeks later I received a call from Ukraine demanding the password so the buyer could erase and use. NO SELLER SHOULD TRUST YOUR COMPANY.

They do not stick to their promise of 3 day turnaround time. It's supposed to be 3 days after they receive it and my item has been sitting there for weeks. I really need the money quickly so this has been a huge problem for me. Hoping they will send the agreed upon price soon but regardless they are overpromising and underdelivering which in a time like this can result in people losing the roof over their head. I need the cash to pay my rent and I don't know how much longer I can hold off my landlord, if it was going to take weeks to process then they should be up front about it.

This is a scam... said would give $12 for my phone online. They took a very long time to look at my phone. Then reduced offer to 50 cents because the screen is "damaged" because it is "tinted"??? The screen is perfect. Never heard of this, just and excuse to offer me nothing.

Update: After I posted this review as a one star, BuyBackWorld apparently saw the review and decided to give me the full $12 so I am happy about that. So i raised my rating to two stars. But I did not enjoy the experience.
