I bought an item with my credit card but got scammed. I asked them for a refund and uploaded every necessary document. I explained everything in my original claim even that I didn't get an email so I didn't have a receipt or prove of purchase. But one of the steps was to show them the item i tried to purchase and that is exactly what I did.

They replied really fast (an AI bot). After a while I talked to a real person and he understood my situations and assured me it was alright and that they will sort things out. I uploaded everything that I could to show them what the situation was.

They messaged me 5 times (AI bot again) about the fact that I didn't upload a proof of purchase. And every time I explained to them that I didn't get one because I got scammed, and again bunq said it was okay and my claim was send to the right person to sort it out. After the 5th or 6th time they finally stopped. That was more then 3 months ago, a process that they claim takes only a month. I messaged them again if they're still working on it or not, and then a day later they said I will get my money back at the end of april. More then 5 months after I made my original claim.

They're customer service sucks!!!!!

Initially, I thought bunq not having a single branch IRL might be a bit of a problem, especially if I go to other countries around the world, but that is not the case. Them operating fully online makes the experience even easier, since everything is there in the application. Support as an example works 24/7, and they helped me two times while I was on a vacation in Bali. They also offer travel insurance and a fxzero feature that has one of the best exchange rates. All in all, a seamless experience as a tourist!

they do provide nice banking services, and they ensure you're protected and all your money activities are safe so that you can do things just using their app. But I also I think they've done a good job with other sides like their blog and learning hub (after reading that, I started my dive into crypto markets by the way), so it's like their complementary aspect.
They post different tips related to finances, like one article I read recently about instilling useful money handling habits in children or how to manage money as a couple. That so helpful and empowering.Deserve ♥️

banks can be so differet. i used to think all of the mare esesentially the same LOL.
but bunq is really differente becuase its completely online, and they have so many features and all inside phone with no paperwork.
verification was quick documents are accepted quick and if you do normal banking without shady payment its all goood.

i was the saving type at first, but then you gotta look back and see whats that got you.
Its just saving from inflation and tahts it, nothing about actually earning unles you have like 100k in the acc.
thats why itsaabout investing: crypto + stocsk if chose carefully with good risk management, thats when stars align.

After updating to the V5 app cersion, cards managing, easier for sure. I had 6 cards here, and its toxic as hell, trying to pay with one, and not the other, and remembering which is wich. In apple Pay,; at least it is a lot easier now. I heard on android its still not as good as on ios though.

bunq isnt your typical bank that offers simple savings account. Nope, it is different, it is a neobank, a fintech company.
The company focuses on wide range of fintech services. What really makes them stand out from technical stand point is the free API they offer to developers. My colleage, a tech savvy guy, highly credits their tech library that enables him to creat cool fintech apps in his free time....

However, some thigns need improvement. For example, pricing for elite plan can be lowered, and need to increase stock selection.
But it is still growing..so. lets see

Honestly, I started using bunq mainly for its budgeting features, and it turned out to be very practical. I created several sub-accounts for different purposes and that alone helps me keep everything organized. Also, no matter how many transactions I make every hour, I'm always get instant notifications about activity on my account. I thought it would stop after 3 actions

insights into how i can budget better, and data on what i spend on transport and travel, were helpful to me too. They work better if all the moneyis in bunq though.

HAVE no idea how they managed to put such powerful features and quite a bunch of these features into app. The thing is that it hasn’t lagged even for a second. Optimized for IOS.

Good amount of features, some of those unique (like multiple sub accounts each with own IBAN, may be even in different countries). Income sorting possible to external accounts -among others.

bunq is the future of real banking, other apps seem to be offering the same but they lack the banking feature we actually need
