Terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Terrible.
This company had several days between when they received the address I submitted with my
Order to the date it was delivered. The delivery date was supposed to be Oct 8, which is what the website said when I booked it and what the confirmation email said. Then this company later emailed and said it would take a day longer which meant that the recipient would not get it on their birthday, but instead a day late. It was then too late for me to go anywhere else.
Then, the afternoon of their new delivery date, I received two emails saying I needed to contact t the delivery company. First, my time zone is opposite of Japan’s, but luckily I was still awake and got their email.
This company also had the phone number of the recipient, and the reason you provide that when you order is so that if there is a problem delivering it, that they can reach the recipient for directions.
But they didn’t try to contact the recipient, saying to me that they don’t want to ruin the surprise. So instead they don’t call me, they emailed me in the middle of the night and asked me to contact the recipient so the recipient can call the shipping company.
Right, for something that is a surprise, that will really keep it a surprise if I ask them to call a shipping company to tell them their address for a package they have no idea they are supposed to receive.
This company said their shipping company couldn’t find the address even though I found it on Google when they said they couldn’t find it, plus I was just at the address a couple of weeks earlier and had sent multiple packages to that address previously - it is the residence of my partner’s parents.
The phone numbers they gave me would not connect from me in Canada, so the company told me that they don’t accept international calls and to ask the recipient to call the shipping company.
Then they sent me an email and said I provided a wrong address, with one word misspelled. So I checked the confirmation email and I didn’t make a mistake. They either made a mistake on their end or they purposely changed a letter in order to try to blame me, but either way the confirmation email was 100% correct.
As this company was emailing me and trying to blame me, what they didn’t realize was that the delivery was actually successful. As soon as I told them this, they tried to take credit for it as though they had not done anything wrong and the entire conversation we just had didn’t happen. They had the nerve to ask me to remove my review from this website, I told them no way, I stand behind every word. They still insisted so now I have made this review much more detailed, longer, with even more truth & info than the first one I wrote.
Let this be a lesson… don’t use this company! They will try to tell you that you provided incorrect information when you didn’t. They will go back and forth getting nowhere, and they will tell you to get the person receiving the package as a surprise, to call the shipping company to help get the package delivered.
Also, when they tried to tell me the address was wrong, I sent them a Google Maps screenshot with directions from the local airport to the final destination, so at least they would have some reference points to the delivery address, and that still wasn’t good enough. They tried to say that the address I was providing was not correct still.
This company lies and tries to blame the customer and then says they didn’t say something that they did. I have all of the emails to stand behind every word I wrote here, so I reject their response emphatically.
Here is an example of their lies:
Notice how they say they were unable to reach the recipient when they called (they didn’t call, but that’s not the point).
Then notice where they say “Since the recipient is best placed to clarify any address-related concerns, their direct communication was necessary to resolve the situation efficiently.”
So the delivery company had actually delivered the order, but bunchesbaskets was still arguing with me that I had not provided the correct address. They were unaware that it was already delivered.
The address I provided was entirely correct, and clearly it was NOT “necessary to resolve the situation efficiently” by speaking with the recipient since it was delivered without speaking to the recipient and at the address I provided.
They just make up whatever information suits them, but it isn’t true. As you can tell from the ridiculousness of the back and forth here, it truly is not worth your time, money or frustration to use this company.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF JAPAN, you should choose a different company that doesn’t play so many games, tells the truth, and has normal customer service resolution policies and procedures. WHAT A JOKE!
They can yick yack all they want on here, don’t believe them. You will be glad you went elsewhere.
