I’ve been using Built For Athletes gear for a few months now, and it’s been a game changer. The backpack is super durable and has plenty of space for all my gym essentials. You can tell it’s designed for people who take fitness seriously. It’s held up great through daily workouts and travel.

After using the Black 35L Elite Backpack consistently, I can confidently say this is about as close to a perfect backpack as it gets.

Right away, the design stands out. The sleek, all-black look is clean, modern, and versatile it fits in anywhere, whether it’s work, the gym, or travel. It has that premium feel without being flashy, which I really like.

The 35L capacity is honestly the sweet spot. It’s spacious without ever feeling bulky. On most days, I can easily pack my 15-inch laptop, charger, notebooks, and a water bottle and still have extra space left. The compartments are smartly laid out, so everything stays organized and easy to access without digging around.

The build quality is where this backpack really shines. The material feels tough and durable, and it handles daily wear effortlessly. I’ve even used it in light rain, and everything inside stayed completely dry, which shows the level of protection it offers. I ordered the 45L backpack and I’m very satisfied with it. It has plenty of space and easily fits everything I need. The internal organization is very well designed, making it easy to keep things structured and accessible.

The delivery was fast and completely hassle-free. The overall quality of the backpack is excellent and feels very premium.

The price is not cheap, but in my opinion it is fair considering the quality you get.

The bag developed a tear in the lining after just one use, which was disappointing. A refund and replacement were agreed, which I appreciated; however, I did have to cover the cost of returning the item, on top of the original delivery charge.
I was also required to place a new order separately, as this couldn’t be handled internally, which meant paying postage again.
Order tracking has been quite slow to update, and I’m still waiting to receive the replacement in time for my upcoming trip. Just heard back from customer services due to their annual stock check, my order won’t be dispatched until 01/04/26. Customer. Service got in touch and where really helpful.

I ordered a Built for Athletes bag last week and it was shipped and delivered within the timescale given. However, Parcelforce delivered it to the complete wrong address (we still haven’t been able to locate it) so I contacted them and the team at BFA straight away to raise the issue. I am still yet to hear from Royal Mail/Parcelforce but was replied to almost instantly by Anastasia at BFA whose customer service was excellent from start to finish. I am very kindly being sent another bag which I cannot wait to receive and I would like to thank the team again at BFA. Gold stars to them and a big thumbs down to Parcelforce!

Backpack has a useful design and is nice and large but build quality is abysmal, whole rucksack has pretty much fallen apart in a year or so. I still use it but I wouldn’t buy, worth getting a backpack from a reputable brand.
