While we are dedicated mile-seekers on multiple airlines, we were faced with a trip which was outrageously expensive on our primary airlines and their partners. The timeframe was critical, so we looked for an alternative and this one saved us about 50% off business-class tickets to LHR. We were nervous at first (not being able to use our usual airline apps for checkin, then at the last minute the outbound carrier cancelled their flight. Not to fear, our agent stepped in, found an even better flight at the same price (direct instead of one-stop) and all was well. If you're okay with not accumulating mileage or status, and comfortable leaving the trip in the hands of others, I'd highly recommend.
