I paid £1 on my debit card to enhance a couple of photos online. I wasn't directed towards anything relating to monthly subscriptions, and my so-called welcome email mentioned nothing of the sort. A few days later, there was a £29 charge applied on my debit card. Luckily, I had used a card which I keep zero balance on most of the time. Also, Santander had flagged it as a fraudulent transaction in any case. So bad luck bubbi.app, you're not getting my money this time. Total bunch of scammers.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I was using the online service - came up when I searched for free AI enhancement - for one image I wanted sharpened. Then it popped up asking for a £1 payment. I thought that was worth it so I gave card details. Next a screen popped up asking for £29 - I hadn't even had confirmation of the £1 payment. I closed the window without hitting anything and didn't even download the enhanced image. Now both the £1 and £29 charges have appeared on our credit card statement. Complete scam! Never use this website.
If you can see their response to my review, please do not be fooled. Everything I have said is true. If the conditions are there, they are hidden. I'm not the only one with this experience. Do not trust this company.

Sneaky company & terrible service. They only responded to my email when I said I had contacted my bank as I was being charged by them. They would not refund me despite their terms & conditions being unclear. They are the sort of company that gets away with charging customers over technicalities but are purposely sneaky. Once they have your money there's nothing you can do.

SCAM!!! Paid$1 to enhance a photo and 1 week later they charged me $55!!! I had to dispute it through my credit card company. There was nothing in the transaction that indicated I was signing up for a subscription. SCAM!!!!!!

100% a scam. Spend $1 to upscale an old photo of my dog and without my knowledge they signed me up for an account and set me on a payment plan. I would have been charged $64 if I didn't check my spam emails. Websites like this should be banned.

Absolute scam.. Took £29 from my account for absolutely nothing.. I didn't sign up for anything and it managed to be able to remove this from my account.. It was to be an ongoing debit too, only I noticed early enough.. If you see this app, click nothing on it.. Avoid totally.. There should be an actual law about these types of thieving web pages

Lazy company making money from AI with terrible customer service. Oh they’ll respond to you, but only to point out the mistake you made not reading t&c’s once they charge you an extortionate amount for a monthly subscription. Most other companies would issue a refund if you contact them quickly enough and have no intent to use the service. Not this bunch of money grabbers - you made the mistake, you pay for it! Awful company, PLEASE AVOID

Like the others I was scammed into paying a monthly fee after purchasing a photo for 1 dollar. I received no emails stating I would be charged and when inquired received a boilerplate response.

Scammers !! They steal money from people by hidden subscription that you never made. I paid 1£ to have a photo in better quality and ended up been charged 29£ extra for a subscription that I never asked for or even used . Everyone who been scammed from this scam company need to make a claim against them as they keep stealing money from people !! What a shame you are scammers !

I wish I could write a 0 star review. This is a scam, don't sign up for the $1 trial, they will take your money.

im another one that got scammed dam it, wish i had come there first. i just thought i was innocently spending $1 only as a once-off payment to convert a file, and then i get billed $65nzd 1 week later. I never signed up for their 7-day $1 trial, or atleast if that was the case then it wasnt obvious, not did i get an email or follow up email about trial ending! this is probaly the only way they make money is by scaming people into signing up by default without their conscent. their site should be banned and removed for bringn fraudlaunt

The quality of the photos after I had used the clear blurred photo facility. It was very simple. The problem I had was caused by me not receiving an email which had gone into my junk mail!

I’ve noticed some reviews mentioning confusion around the subscription, and I don’t want to dismiss those experiences. However, that wasn’t my experience. When I started using Bubbi, it was clear to me that the service included a subscription — which is pretty standard after a trial period.
I actually ended up using all my credits and decided to upgrade my subscription because I needed more. I work for a medium-sized photography and printshop business, and we’ve been using Bubbi to enhance and vectorize client images. The service has worked great so far.
I also had a few questions about billing, and the support team responded quickly and provided exactly the information I needed.

Says it is "free" but when you try to download, it shows an invoice for $1. Sounds like it turns out to be a scam and you get charged for more. Luckily, I closed the webpage when I saw that it was not free

Enormous scam.
Says it’s free to adjust a photo, then you’re charged £1; that declines and if you don’t check, the amount has changed to £29.
Rang my bank within three minutes, these fraudsters had saved and registered my bank card details within that time. Thank God for Lloyds Bank fraud team who also confirmed it’s a scam.
Be careful people! Lesson learned!

I signed up for a Free trial and cancelled, then was charged $35 so I went back on their sight and cancelled again and sent messages to refund my money, I also received a text from my bank asking if it was okay to charge it or was it fraudulent, I texted back fraudulent and they blocked my debit card BUT still let the charge go through, SO now I'm pissed off at 2 companies, uughhh , now I have to wait 7-1 business days for a new card as well as try to get my money back
