When the shipper lost my package
When the shipper lost my package, customer support shipped a new chair to me the same day, and I received it 2 days later. The chair itself, a Steelcase Leap, is exactly as advertised, practically new condition.

Looks like it is meant for my desk
very well made! there was unfortunately damage during shipping or packaging but customer service was great and helped resolve the issue. Looks like is meant to go with my standing desk from DeskHaus. I highly recommend

Lamia lives up to expectations
All the chair reviews and rankings really helped out. The ordering process was straight forward and we received the chairs in 2pcs with easy directions to assemble. So far, with a couple weeks of use, the chair is comfortable and all the functionality works as intended. I bought the Lamia bc I have an Amia at work and love the slightly more padded seat. While I’m used to the more substantial feeling seat back of my Amia, the Lamia lumbar support is welcome. The Lamia has a slight bit more of a natural recline when set in its most upright position. Something I have to get used to.

Not big enough
I bought (47" x 51" With Lip), knowing that there were bigger options (like 60" x 48, 60" x 47" No Lip), but they didn't have a bigger one w/ Lip. Also, the edges are easily damaged when I roll the wheels of my chair over them.

Amazing Chair, Amazing Service
This is a great chair and I love the price. Was 1/2-1/3 the price of some others but there doesn’t seem to be any lag in quality. Comfortable and great build quality. And love the headrest. There was a broken piece on the frame and brought this to their attention and they quickly rectified the situation. Like really quick. Very happy all around.

Great product, Responsive service
I love my chair. I got a refurbished chair, and it is fantastic. I feel so good when I sit at my desk, and I can focus for a very long time without feeling uncomfortable. It's so good, that I forget to use the standing function of my desk sometimes.
I also had a support question about my chair. Their support line is knowledgeable and helpful, and when I asked for a different set of casters than the one I ordered, they didn't even charge me for shipping. They wowed me, and I have since made another purchase from them.

Discount Chair ends up being a headache
Bought a Steelcase Leap V2, ended up with a chair that squeaks so much that its unusable. The chair looked great when I got it, assembled it and it began squeaking like a week after. Also upon further inspection bolts were missing and there was rust dust on the bottom of the chair. Really upset with my purchase.

High Quality, Easy Assembly, Half the Price
I really wanted to get a Steelcase chair again but they are quite pricey (understandably so - the quality is definitely there). I came across BTOD and ordered from there after researching and watching videos of the restoration process (love that these are out there!). My chair came earlier than expected and the instructions for assembly were detailed, thoughtful, and easy to do. My chair looks and feels brand new. I also liked the touch of including the quality control card that shows that each chair is checked by a human. I will definitely be recommending this company. I hope they're still around when I need another chair in the future because I think this one will last me for a very long time.

Excellent job refurbishing this Steelcase Ameap (Amia w/ Leap seat) chair! Couldn't be happier saving over 60 percent of list price. Everything works as should. Chair was assembled in under a minute. Sent Wrong Chair, then BTOD did this!
I Ordered a black Amia chair. BTOD sent a red chair. Upon sending BTOD a request for return of the red chair and delivery of the correct chair, they did so very quickly. Within one day they were already on top of getting me the right chair. Their customer service is awesome and they worked fast to correct my order. Thanks BTOD, will be ordering from you again! Great customer service mostly - except for one blame
Customer service does a great job at staying on top of customer interactions with speed and timely updates. You also do a great job at finding solutions to issues and offering options. I lost my positive feeling though when the the blame was placed on FedEx for a box that had been reused and restapled - appearing to be a returned chair - stating that FedEx has probably restapled the box. The pictures I had sent prior clearly indicated over a dozen hole sets from removed box staples that were placed *under* the shipping tape, as well as others that were visible. If the manufacturer gave that excuse, it should never have been passed onto me. It was unbelievable. All in all, the start and the end turned out very kind and customer focused, which I appreciate.
