Dealt with them twice
Dealt with them twice, once in Newport at the Velodrome and once at their shop. Super friendly and helpful every time!

Dealt with them twice, once in Newport at the Velodrome and once at their shop. Super friendly and helpful every time!
We ordered handle bar grips from these guys and they sent two right grips not a pair. Despite mailing them multiple times and contacting them through their website we have heard nothing back. Steer clear as their quality may be okay but their after sales is non existent. Such a shame as this used to be a Premier brand.
Absolutely all awful service from their customer service team. The guy Victor wouldn’t even give me a surname so that I could escalate the problem what went wrong with this great British brand.
Excellent service from Tony and his team.
I cannot recommend them enough.
Many Thanks

Highly recommended
Very impressed with Brooks cycles. Honest expert advice and very reasonable pricing for a bespoke service. Have already recommended to others.
Booked in for a repair on slipping gears. Had to wait 2 weeks and arranged it to be dropped off first thing, 9.15, as I needed to get back to work.
Arrived shortly before 9.15, shutters down. Waited till 9.30 and still no sign. Called them twice, no reply no answer machine.
Really poor service
We have purchased two ebikes from Brooks Cycles during which time we found the staff extremely helpful, had as much time to explain everything fully, (to persons of a certain age who possibly asked the dumbest questions!) recommended, sized and adjusted everything correctly and delivered promptly. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Keep custom local!
If your looking to get any bike repairs done, I could not recommend Brooks Cycles in Welshpool unfortunately.
I took an expensive bike to them for a service and to replace 2 tubes.
On collection I noticed no valve caps, loose valves, a wheel that rotated like an egg and damage to the bike. Putting the shocking service and the damage aside, the attitude of the staff was appalling.
The man in charge was unhelpful when I pointed out the problems and couldn’t care less about the damage he or his staff had done.
Since this experience I have found that there are far better bike shops locally that have friendly staff that are professional, competent and skilled in bike maintenance.
I took two ebikes to store to have an annual service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bikes were serviced very efficiently, and I was contacted when ready for collection, Today we used the bikes for the first time since the service and found the difference amazing. All the gears had been adjusted as requested and so now the gears were smooth. I would certainly recommend them for servicing in the future. Well done to all concerned and keep up the good work
