I have been hounded by this company for over 15 months! In March 22 I went on a weekend trip to Newcastle with my partner which I had booked via British breakaways. When we got to our hotel ther was no reservation made on behalf of British breakaways. It was very stressful trying to get hold of them to see what had happened. Long story short they said they had booked it for the wrong date & therefore this was my fault because I had received the emails. All emails pacifically stated the dates I had requested. We had booked activity’s in advance and paid for them so we had no choice to seek out another hotel and pay for it. I made many complaints and received no refund. Yet 15 months later they still continue to call me and have done every other week. I have requested they remove my number from their database but have failed to. I block the number every time yet they use a different one each time which makes it impossible. PLEASE PLEASE DONT FALL VICTIM TO THE SCAM OF A BRITISH BREAKAWAY! It was an expensive British nightmare for us and I still can not get away from them. No refund no care or compassion from them.

Me and my girlfriend were walking around Costa Teguise, an English man approached and asked us to go check out the hotel they had invested millions into and ask for a tour. He gave us scratch cards and my Girlfriend "won the top prize". Thus would be a random draw of money, a tech device or a holiday.
Admittedly we should of smelled a rat from the start but we were in holiday mode and had nothing else planned that afternoon.
We had a tour of the hotel, which was actually very nice, but soon were ushered into a side office by reception and being pitched a holiday package plan. Essentially a timeshare. We took the free bottle of wine they left us on the table and said no thank you.
Thankfully they didn't waste much of our time. Felt a bit stupid for not spotting it from the start but we didn't hand over any money to them.

Scam ! Scam! Scam! Paid £84 for a mini break that just doesn’t exist. For a Year I have tried to book my two night break Only to be told every month that there is no availability and I had to try again the next month!Absolutely disgusting that they can take your hard earned money , no morals what so ever! Please avoid and do not give him any money.

If I could give zero I would I been trying to use my vouchers sent million emails and they promise they sort it out and today sent an email saying we couldn’t have dates we require even after we said we pay the difference n offering us extension for a year for making it a weeks holiday
Errrrmmmmmmm no why would I do that when you can’t sort out holiday we require
Run away as fast as you can from this company I have sent an email requesting total refund and Also a manager to phone back which I’m not holding my breath

They deceive you with offers they have no intention of providing only to steal money.

This is literally a scam. I spotted it straight away and refused to pay anything.
The company is registered in Alicante.. it is basically a boiler room. The holidays don't even exist I believe.

You are a bloody fool if you Evan touch this company it’s an absolute disgrace. All they care about is getting more money from you. DO not touch them

This company were really nice at first, but very quickly became pushy…but I wanted an Xmas present for my in laws so I took a punt..over the year they haven’t managed to use the mini break. Every phone call they made to me was to ask for more money on various upgrades…now they have said the mini break has expired. And I need to pay £300 before Christmas to upgrade to 3 weeks holiday….Terrible company to deal with…no offer of a refund…

Horrendous to deal with. Repeatedly asked for my log in details to be sent to me which they were not, but the sales team was happy enough to try and extract more money from me. Paid for a weekend break which i havent been able to use. Eventually accidentally got through to management who were extremely outspoken and rude. Absolute sham. Do not use this company.

This company use Instagram to run competitions that the consumer will never be able be able to receive. You are asked to pay about £80 to cover admin cost etc, which we told was reasonable for a 2 night break. we have tried to book this many times over the year but the breaks are always not available. We have asked for a refund as they are unable to provide what we though we was paying for but they say they have no way of providing a refund! Now they are ringing offering a longer breakaway and yes! they want more money! This company need to be avoided at all costs

Totally a scam. Never been able to claim what I apparently won and paid for by the way... and they keep calling to sell you more

This company is Minibreaksuk (minibreaks.co.uk). I entered a competition on Instagram and someone called "Liam" called me to try to scam me. He congratulated me on my "win" and then asked me to pay £17 for "taxes" for each person per night - not "for breakfast" as quoted to everyone else, which shows it's just a made up amount to get hold of your bank details. I emailed them afterwards to get more information on what taxes this would be paying for and surprise, surprise - no response. I'm sad for anyone who works for this company, you must be so down on your luck and lacking in morals to try to steal money from hardworking people during an economic crisis. That must make you feel great about yourselves. If you click on the accounts behind the "good reviews" here, they are not real accounts. All have 1-2 super positive reviews aimed at fake companies.

WORSE COMPANY EVER! THEY TOOK MY MONEY IN HOPES TO BOOK A WEEKEND BREAK FOR A YEAR... every time I called them or emailed them they never had availability (I waited a year), and they do not do refunds or compensations. Literally, my money went down the drain, and the customer service is also very very rude. DO NOT recommend THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

They say you have come runner up in a Instagram competition. Do not answer/return calls. It’s all a lie and a scam to get £80 out of you that you’ll never see again

And ukbreakaway . You are a runner up in a competition where you have a two nights stay but have to pay for breakfast which turns into £82 pounds. Suddenly the dates are not available and the hotel is not available. These are sub human people. Stay away!!!!

Endless bookings applied for and always no result. Money was paid in December and will be lost soon. Have had endless calls encouraging me to upgrade to 7 days in Spain.
This is a scam I wont get a break they will keep my money.
Dont use them, it is amazing they are allowed to continue trading.

This is a SCAM. Do not buy this break, they fob you off every time you try to put a booking request in saying all the dates are unavailable and that if they can’t get you something by the expiry date of the product then you lose the money. This happens every month you try to put the request in. Please someone close this site down!

I echo all of these bad reviews. I have just had another converstaion with Darren who clearly has missinformed me that he would get me my break in September after me submitting 2 seperate complaints. This has not happened, and unfortunately the reasons vary and echo all the bad reviews below. How can a company opperate like this? Unexeptable, rude, and dissapointing to be taking money off of those who work honestly and hard for this. I will take this further and suggest we all make sure this company is known for such scam. This company needs to be closed down, although by the looks of it there isnt a company under this name.

I have tried many times to book a break using my "voucher". Every time I contact them I get a different excuse as to why I cant not book.
I tried to book in September to be told that ALL the holidays were booked up and that they were now working on holiday requests from October to December.
So I submitted a request to book in December to be told they weren't taking bookings for December until 4th October!
No doubt when it comes to October I will be informed that all the holidays in December are booked up.
I believe they are falsely operating and taking monies from customers for holidays they have no intention of honouring!
I have attempted to report them to Fraud Action UK however there is no company by the name of British Breakaway registered at that address shown on the website!
I have asked for their trading name however this request has been ignored.
This company is a SCAM and I am currently in contact both with Trading Standards and Martin Lewis for them to investigate.
I am also attempting to claim back monies paid to this company as they have no intention of providing any goods or services.
