Very unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour

Mia figlia ha soggiornato presso i Britannia Southbank Apartments per quattro mesi. Prima del suo arrivo, ci è stato richiesto di versare in anticipo un deposito cauzionale di £2.000, che ci era stato assicurato sarebbe stato restituito al termine del soggiorno, se tutto fosse stato in ordine.

La stanza è stata lasciata il 1° maggio, e abbiamo ricevuto conferma scritta che era tutto a posto. Ho quindi iniziato a scrivere diverse email per avere informazioni sul rimborso. In un primo momento mi è stato detto che la persona responsabile era in ferie. Poi mi è stato promesso un riscontro “a breve”. Infine, hanno semplicemente smesso di rispondere alle mie email.

In sintesi: ci hanno trattenuto £2.000 senza alcuna spiegazione o giustificazione.

Sconsiglio vivamente a futuri studenti e famiglie di affidarsi a questa struttura. Un comportamento simile è non solo poco professionale, ma anche profondamente scorretto—soprattutto nei confronti di studenti internazionali e delle loro famiglie.

My daughter stayed at the Britannia Southbank Apartments for four months. Before her arrival, we were required to pay a £2,000 deposit in advance, which we were told would be refunded once she left the room and everything was found to be in order.

She moved out on May 1st, and we received written confirmation that everything was fine. I then began sending emails to inquire about the refund. At first, I was told that the person in charge was on annual leave. Then I was promised a reply "shortly." After that, they simply stopped responding to my emails altogether.

To sum up: they have effectively taken £2,000 from us with no explanation or justification.

I strongly advise future students and parents to be extremely cautious when dealing with this accommodation. This kind of behaviour is not only unprofessional but also deeply unfair—especially towards international students and their families.

Catastrophe

One word: Catastrophe!!!! If you want to stay in London for a few days, I advise choose anything except them.

- Black Mould on walls
- Mess
- Worst atmosphere (bullying, insulting from people that actually work for britannia).

Everything above is of course my experience. But its still an experience with Britannia.
