I had a very disappointing experience with BRITA’s subscription service.
I was charged twice for what was supposed to be a single subscription order. Two separate payments were taken via PayPal on consecutive days, even though I only intended to place one order.
After contacting customer support, they initially claimed only one order was shipped. However, the second order was later sent anyway – despite not being authorized.
I had to repeatedly follow up, provide payment proof, and deal with unnecessary back-and-forth just to resolve a problem that should never have happened in the first place.
From my experience, the billing system seems unreliable, and I strongly recommend checking your account carefully if you use their subscription service.
I see that other customers have also reported ordering/payment issues on Trustpilot, including cases where payments went through but orders failed or behaved unexpectedly.
Overall, this created a lot of stress and wasted time. I would advise caution before using their subscription model.
