Bright Removals Ltd. recently helped our daughter to move from Vienna back to Wrexham in North Wales. There were a number of challenges involved but Paul was always so very patient, calm, professional and very understanding at all times. He was available to answer any of our questions or concerns. The day of the removal went very smoothly indeed. The staff were brilliant! The goods arrived in Wrexham as scheduled and were unloaded very efficiently by another excellent team. Bright Removals helped us move from Germany to the UK. They were fantastic from the initial survey all the way through to delivery.
The quote was transparent and all questions are answered quickly. They advised and supported on customs documentation, organized the parking suspension on both pick up and delivery, carefully packed our fragile items, loaded everything from a 5th floor flat.
One thing to note, is that they drive their own dedicated shipments across the channel, so they know where your goods are at all times. Many companies outsource this part of move.
They also stored the goods for us in the UK until we found a new flat.
Their teams for both pick up and delivery were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
I can highly recommend them for any moving needs whether domestic or between UK and the EU / continent.

I have been attempting to set up a small move from England to Germany this summer without success. Beginning in mid-June, I repeatedly emailed and received no response, so I began to call instead – many times the answering service appeared to be switched off. When I finally got through to Paul on the phone (mid-July), I was told to send an email with all the details. I did so, the same day – no response. I called every week for a month, each time being told that my case was being escalated and Paul would get back to me ASAP. Naturally he did not, and I would call again, reach a new person, and be told the same thing. I asked whether, if Paul was unavailable, my case could be diverted to another member of staff, if there was such a person. No answer, just obfuscating. I asked what the delay was or what I would need to do to get this moving. No answer, just obfuscating. After calling again yesterday, I finally received a response via email from Paul today:

'I apologise for not responding sooner.

We have limited our part-load service this summer and were therefore unable to provide a quote for your shipment to Berlin.

At present, we do not have any scheduled shipment that could accommodate your boxes within the time frame provided.'

Naturally, time has passed since I wrote my request that my time frame is too tight now. I understand that. But offering no alternative, and no quote at all, is no solution. I am honestly shocked that, after so much back and forth, that this is the response I got. I had heard very good things about Bright Removals and feel now that I have completely wasted my time. Cannot recommend.

After Brexit, it has become very difficult to find a removals company that will support a move from the EU to the UK or vice versa.

Bright Removals did a fantastic job of moving my belongings from Germany to the UK. Their services were timely and flexible, and nothing was too much trouble. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I had an excellent experience with Bright Removals for my move from the UK to Germany. Despite my items being collected right after Christmas on the 28th of December, everything was handled seamlessly, with no issues at all. The storage of my belongings until I returned to Germany was also no problem, giving me peace of mind throughout the process.

We had a great experience with Bright Removals for our move from the UK to Germany.
Paul was really helpful and efficient, even with last-minute processes.
The crew on both sides was great, friendly and professional. We felt in very good hands and everything went smoothly.

+1 for this company. I used Bright Removals in 2024, moved a 1-bedroom flat with about 30 large plastic moving boxes 📦 +furniture 🛋️, it all just about fit in a Luton van 🚛. Picked up in Somerset, UK 🇬🇧 on Wednesday, delivered in Frankfurt, DE 🇩🇪 on Friday.

Paid a bit extra for full insurance on the value of my goods, but the quote was still fair priced and well below the mad prices other companies were charging for a lesser quality and much slower service.

Paul at BR was excellent, very responsive, guided me and provided templates for all the paperwork and customs forms (now needed after Brexit); everything went very smooth, from Pavel and the lads who helped load everything in the UK and wrapped the more delicate furniture, to George the driver, and to Mirek and the guys who helped offload everything in the Germany.

Absolutely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Important: after Brexit, you have 12 months from the day you register (Anmledung) to move your belongings, doing it after that risks you having to pay taxes on something you already paid taxes for. Don’t delay.

Bright Removals helped me move from Nuremberg Germany to Coventry UK when I relocated for work. All goods arrived intact and on time window given to us.

We used the professional packaging service as well and the two man crew that arrived (our move was relatively small and included many electronics and small pots etc with only one herman miller chair as expensive furniture) .

The team was especially accommodating and even agreed to move one of our bikes last minute for a very reasonable fee.

If I ever move out of UK back to EU I would be 100% comfortable with using the services of Bright Removals.
